My computer use to start up in Yahoo, now it starts in Google, and I have to open Yahoo from Google. How do I get it back to starting up in Yahoo?

I'm getting daily warning notifications from Mcafee about some virus. Don't even have Mcafee. When I go to Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Notifications, there is no Settings button to modify push notifications.

I have Firefox installed on two PCs. I see the option to add "Recommended by Pocket" under Settings/Home, but on the other one I don't. Screen shots of both are attached. I have completely uninstalled, cleaned up all Firefox files and re-installed Firefox multiple times on the PC where I don't see the Pocket option but nothing changes. Also gone into about:config and tried making changes from there. I want the Pocket recommendations to show on the Firefox Home page for both PCs.

I don't know why the page https://encuestas.msssi.gob.es/limesurvey/index.php/438579?lang=es is marked as insecure in Firefox. I tried in Chrome, Edge, IE... and the page is marked as secure, the certificate is recognized.

I attach screen captures of Firefox and Edge examples.

I've the security.enterprise_roots.enabled setting enabled.

If I check for Firefox error details, I see (auto-translated to english): https://encuestas.msssi.gob.es/limesurvey/index.php/438579?lang=es The issuer of the other end's certificate is not recognized. Strict HTTP transport security: false Setting HTTP public keys: false

So I synced my bookmarks then I notice that all of them are mixed up, so i look for ways to fix them, I then see I can restore my files, I try it then it says it was unable too, and then after that it deleted everything, I tried to restore them again and again using different dates but nothing worked.

p.s. I did post this earlier but it was in the middle of the night, so nobody saw it.

I am unable to login to my Prescription provider's website (which I do every day). Problem started Sunday and still persists.

I am able to login using Chrome, so I know the website is working properly.

Help - I DO NOT want to use Chrome.

Using Firefox version 99.0 (64bit). When I click "Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks, the listing defaults to the "Other Bookmarks" folder. I would like it to default to the "Bookmarks Menu" folder. How do I make it do that?

Hi! I was wondering why nearly every single page these days opens to the message :

"400 Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Apache Server at canvas.instructure.com Port 80"

Nearly every link I click on a website refuses to open! It has become impossible to do school work on this browser because I can't open any link on my school website, and nearly every website struggles to open except from google. I know the links work because I copy/paste them into Google Chrome and they open immediately. Truth be told I prefer Firefox and would much rather keep using this browser! I also can't find an update for Firefox so I believe my Browser is up to date (and I know my laptop is up to date and virus free). Is there a fix coming soon? Or a setting I can change to be able to open links? Classes start this week and I'm stuck!

Past experience. With just a few tabs open there was a "+" button at the right hand end of the tab bar for a new tab. When the number of tabs got too many (in my case 18) the "+" button was JOINED by a ">" button to be able to see tabs off the right hand end of the toolbar, but still use the new tab button.

Post update to the current version of Firefox, at the point the ">" button appears it is REPLACING the "+" button.

I know there are workarounds, but my "rut" is to use the "+" to get a new tab.

Is there any way of getting it back?

When I'm trying to go to a specific website, it doesn't connect with an error code "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER". I was able to press a button labeled "Accept the Risk and Continue" before, but the button seems to have disappeared?

This was my fix for scrolling not working when hardware acceleration enabled. Upgraded this software product: X-Mouse Button Control (of Highresolution Enterprises) to latest release 2.20.5

I have a list of clickable bookmarks that normally displays in the left side panel. It's currently missing. If I click on 'Other bookmarks' it appears to the right but is not pinned and doesn't seem pinnable. How do I get it back to displaying in the left side panel all the time as before? Clicking on 'Bookmarks Toolbar' or 'Bookmarks Menu' doesn't bring it up. I don't see any other options in the side panel nor do I see anything relevant under 'Bookmarks' in the top ribbon menu......? for new file types the option to save the default behaviour for future downloads is no longer avaliable for me. Also, the option to set in "Settings -> General -> Files and Applications" does not show any of the new file types.

I've tried re-installing firefox, as well as refreshing but still the same results.

For a few weeks now, Firefox has been often freezing a webpage for 5-10 seconds during browsing. It mostly happens when going back to the previous page, but also when clicking a link or doing a google search. For those 10 seconds, you can't do anything on the page; no clicking other links or selecting text.

I've already tried: - troubleshoot mode; it still happens when all extensions are turned off - turning on/off hardware acceleration - creating new places databes - updating to the newest version

What can i do to fix this?

Hi. I have problem with firefox account addon. I acidenty remove it from the addon menu(that one on the right up corner in firefox) and i can't find it in addons setings. how can i add it again to addon menu?

I got a notice that Firefox (and Thunderbird) were updated this morning. Took me an HOUR to find out how to make the miniscule font in my inbox larger. So.. suddenly, new problem.

When I click the Firefox icon to launch the browser, and reopen my tabs, It opens for a millisecond, then closes faster than I can try to read if there is an error. When I click it AGAIN, all my tabs are GONE and I have to search for them manually, which is a royal pain.

Why is this happening? How can I stop it from happening? This is annoying as hell.
