I have an old Laptop which works perfectly for what I need, and I use Firefox for my Browser.

I had to shutdown my Laptop and everything seemed Ok on reboot. However, I can no longer access my Gmail account as I apparently "need Chrome" to get access...?

Do I? If so - how do I get it installed on my system?

Another Windows update, another instance of Firefox bookmarks being inaccessible :-( "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Now what? What are we supposed to do? Is Firefox doing anything about this problem, since it's become a regular occurrence? Help, please!

When browsing on IMDb (see image attached) when I click on the "See All" button just above "Soundtrack" at the bottom of the image nothing happens. This should expand the list above it, in the case an actor's credits. I have NoScript 13.5.2 installed but all scripts are allowed here. I get this on all the IMDb pages.

The last time Firefox updated I lost all my bookmarks. Tried using the restore tool and it didn't work. Tried restoring from my USB drive, didn't work either. Can you PLEASE help??

Could you add more sorting options to the bookmarks toolbar.

My preference of listening to music on youtube has been to add the songs as bookmarks and using the bookmarks toolbar.

For long i have been irritated i could not inverse the order of them, so when i tried to tweak with it for a bit i clicked the sort by name and quickly learned there is no other controls than that. This might be kinda niche but still applys to many types of usage and i feel is pretty basic. I would like the possibility of making the the bookmark toolbar to sort invertedly from date added. I strongly think this already should be a thing and was quite shocked to learn it was so archaic.

My computer (pc-windows 10) keeps freezing. Today, when this happened I launched Task Manager and discovered Firefox had opened 68 instances (I had one window open) and was using up 100% of my Core i7 CPU. I was on YouTube at the time.

I'd like to stay with Firefox as I have been using it for years, but this is happening all too often. Is there a way to limit the number of instances that it will generate?

EVERY SINGLE TIME FIREFOX UPDATES THEY OPEN A NEW TAB AND ADVERTISE FEATURES AND GARBAGE I DO NOT CARE ABOUT.

I"D RATHER PAY FOR FIREFOX THAN HAVE THIS RIDICULOUS GARBAGE HAPPEN EVERY TIME YOU UPDATE THE APPLICATION.

MAKE A SETTING FOR THIS OR SOMETHING THAT YOU WON'T JUST IGNORE OR OVERRIDE THE NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO SPAM YOUR ENTIRE USER BASE

Is there anyplace that shows how to use what the new release says on the 146.0. I got the message below when viewing new options in 146.0, but going to settings, sync just wants me to sign in and do a cloud backup.

Doesn't sound like what is in message below that I got after updating to 146.0. From what I found looking around, you are suppose to go to setting, sync, click on backup and choose location. There is no option backup, just an option to sign on. Below is message I got when checking what is in update 146.0:

The last time Firefox updated my Etsy Dashboard would no longer connect. None of the screens I need for my shop would work. Etsy support had me clear my cache and I even did a refresh of Firefox but it still would not work. Etsy's conclusion was it had to be a Firefox issue and they could not help. I had to switch to Chrome to continue working. At some point the issue went away and Etsy's dashboard was working again. Now, after the most recent update it immediately was no longer working again and I am forced to use a different browser. What could be causing this issue related to the updates?

Сегодня обновил Mozilla FireFox до версии 146.0 (64-разрядный). После обновления в панели "закладки" (cntrl+B) появился ненужный мне цвет выделения только что открытой мною вкладки (смотри скриншот). Как поменять данный цвет на менее контрастный ? У меня включена "темная тема", цвет выделения - ядовито-голубой. Хочу изменить его на другой более мягкий цвет. Как это я могу сделать?

Today I updated Mozilla Firefox to version 146.0 (64-bit). After the update, the highlight color of the tab I just opened appeared in the bookmarks bar (Cntrl+B) in an unwanted way (see screenshot). How can I change this color to a less contrasting one? I have the "dark theme" enabled, and the highlight color is a bright blue. I want to change it to a softer color. How can I do this?

After a recent update, the bookmarks menu changed—when you click a certain line, it glows bright blue. I understand this is for ease of use while using bookmarks, but I'm used to leaving this menu open all the time, and after these changes, the blue glow is very distracting.

In light of this, I'd really like to know how to restore the old display, or, if that's not possible, I'd like to see special personalization settings for this type of thing in future updates.
