Dear Support:

How do I remove (not permanently-just toggle it off/on) POCKET from my Firefox HOME screen? I don't care for it but I don't want to permanently remove it either. I have tried going to the address bar and entering [about:config} and turning several [extension.pocket.xxxx] to [UNTRUE]. It made no difference.

Also, the 8 favorite boxes above POCKET, can they be locked so the favorites don't change UNLESS I want to change them myself?

Respectfully,

I have run across some sites - well, pages on sites - which seem to stall and lockup my entire laptop requir8ng a restart and quick kill of the page when I then restart FF. I want to be able to simply block such pages or, the domain where such page resides. I can see things like blocking tracking but nothing on specific dom8ns or urls.

Been using firefox for 10 years to access xfinity/comcast email and suddenly can't do it. Keep getting error message "An error occurred during a connection to oauth.xfinity.com PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR". I've switched to Microsoft Edge for the time being but would appreciate getting back to Firefox if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. For some reason, I can no longer open Gmail through Firefox. I can open it on my phone, but not on my laptop. I can access other websites, just not Gmail. Looking online, it was suggested that I look in the privacy and security settings. But I don't see anything there about unblocking specific sites. Perhaps coincidentally, I recently reloaded a newer version of McAfee onto my laptop, so wonder if there could be some interaction going on with that.

I would appreciate any suggestions you can provide. Thanks!

On a new website or after clearing the cache and cookies and upon opening a page I will often get a pop-up with cookie usage choices, e.g. "strictly necessary", etc. However, the pop-up disappears before I have a chance to click on any choice or even finish reading the first line. I'm not sure what settings I need to change to allow me to make a choice on the pop-up. Please advise. Thanks.

Hello all. Since the update to Version 113.0 I have been getting an error in my Event Viewer which is Event 2 Firefox Default Browser Agent . I am now on Version 113.0.1 and still get this error. Firefox is my default browser. Below is an image of what I see in my Event Viewer and also the full view of the event itself. I seem to not be having any problems with the browser but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on why this is happening or forward to the Devs.

Respectfully, Don

When I open "Extensions" (about:addons) by clicking the Extensions icon, I want it to start on my own extensions, not Recommendations. How can I make "Extensions" open to the actual Extensions tab? Or can I remove the "Recommendations" tab entirely?

I already saw [to remove 'Recommendations' tab in about:addons]. But about:config

 extensions.htmlaboutaddons.recommendations.enabled = false

only removes recommendations from the Extensions tab. And adding

 extensions.getAddons.showPane = false

does not work, the Recommendations tab is still there.

I tried to connect to a website and I received the message in the subject. I have been connecting to that web site for months on Firefox with no trouble. I connected without problems using Firefox just yesterday. After the Firefox problem, I connected without problems to the same web address using Microsoft Edge. I don't understand why Firefox suddenly has this problem.
