Since Firefox updated to 84.0.2, my Google Calendar (web access, no plugin) just hangs with the month displayed on the left and the blue "activity" bar at the top continually scrolling left to right, I never get any updates. If I fire up Chrome, it works fine. Has Firefox suddenly been locked out of Google applications? I've searched the suggestions, cleared all cookies, set general.useragent.compatMode.firefox to TRUE, no change in behavior.

Hello All,

I was working on a Google Apps Script to convert a Google Form entry into a Google Calendar event. Nothing too crazy so I'm not sure that the JavaScript I'm using would do anything to the browser. I could access Google Calendar just fine this morning and then all of the sudden, my calendar page wouldn't completely load. It loads the upper and left panels but not the actual calendar. There's no error message popups, the loading status just keeps spinning.

I've cleared all cache, closed/reopened the browser, restarted my computer, refreshed Firefox, opened Firefox in Safe Mode, tried a Private Window, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I can access Google Calendar just fine on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

Web Console shows a lot of warnings and an Exception error but I don't see anything that gives me a clear understanding of what the problem is. Halp!!!1!1

Hi, I faced the problem with Youtube recommendations on a video page. When I watch a video I can't see recommendations, comments and video title (see the image). In console i get an error: Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed).

I am on arch linux system.

I've tried to: 1. Update all ca-certificate* packages 2. Disable and delete ad-block 3. Use another browser (there is no problem, only in firefox)

This problem is only actual on Youtube for me.

An error has started happening on Firefox. When I visit the BBC website - https://www.bbc.co.uk/ - and I click on the 'Sport' button, it returns the error message 'Not found. Please check your DNS. Internal reference TA-1437.' I checked with the BBC, but they suggested the error lies with the browser. I can confirm this, as I tried the same button using Microsoft edge, and it works fine, and gets me through to the sports page. Is this an error you are aware of? I am on Firefox version 82.0.2 (64-bit) in windows 10. This has only recently started happening. Is there an earlier version of Firefox that I can roll back to - if so, how do I do that? Thanks for your help, John

How I get a time requestor in Firefox is very different (and alas WRONG) compared to Chrome.

Ok, this is an annoying thing which keeps tripping me up.

Here is what Firefox shows me:

file:///home/me/Pictures/Screenshot%20from%202021-01-17%2020-44-04.png

Oh, great and there is no "preview" I can see. (I'll see what happens when I get to the post part)

Fine. But this is NOT what I am supposed to see.

Attention to the right of the input window is the (x) button.

Also clicking on the input fields, not much exciting happens.

This is what Chrome shows me on the same site:

file:///home/me/Pictures/Screenshot%20from%202021-01-17%2020-54-02.png

If I click on the clock icon (shown here in red) I get this lovely pop up.

Yes, I have the "default" ubuntu install of Firefox. Using .... Snap (or what ever it is called)

If I knew/thought on "DAY ONE" when I updated, I would have removed it and gone with the official installation.

I still can't find a clear (safe and easy) way to get rid of the supplied version and get the official one installed all the time keeping bookmarks, cookies, tabs etc. (That's another story.)

But is this something I haven't set in Firefox, or a ..... bug?

I get no such message when I used Safari and can view the film on the same TV monitor connected with the same HDMI to my Macbook Pro. Why does Safari work when Firefox doesn't?

Hi, The vams.cdc.gov portal is just showing a blank page, the cdc site says that firefox is a browser to use and also says chrome, safari etc. I need to get on the site because I have to register my mother for over 75 to get the vaccine. I have a phone modem and windows 7. Trying to download either of the other browsers is a long long long download. Anybody know the fix to getting this portal working. I noticed that it uses the Aura framework ie window.Aura By the way the page source is there, and the title bar does show VAMS Portal, just the blank page though. Thanks for helping if you can. I have a website I built with ruby on rails with a bunch of posts where people can post images and videos. The videos are coded with :controls => true, :loop => true, :autoplay => true, muted: true, so they are playing as soon as the website is loaded on mute. The problem I have now is that when using firefox, ALL of the videos get played WITHOUT MUTE TOGETHER when the user goes to any other page. So whenever the user for example goes to the "about" page, the videos of the homepage are still playing on a loop with 100% volume and there is no way to stop it except for closing the website. This isnt really supporting for my user experience if you know what I mean.

What may also be worth mentioning is that I have a script which makes videos only play when on the user actually scrolled to their position.^

If you are interested in tinitus, you can try it out and listen to a concert of earrape videos (im not responsible for any braindamage). https://www.darkerr.co/posts This issue is not happening for Chrome, Safari or Edge. It must be something exclusively for firefox. Does anybody know how to fox this problem? Thank you so much!

Attached is a sample of how web pages display. These can either initially display this way or, as in this example, the page opened correctly, I stepped away for a few minutes and when I viewed the page again it looked like the example. I can have a page open and it is displaying correctly, then open a new tab and go to a different site and the text will look like the example.

I have cleared the cache, dumped all the cookies. Restarting the browser (I do this many times a day) will fix the current page but eventually another page will display like this.

I running version 84.0.2 64bit on a Mac Pro Mojave. I don't have this problem with other browsers like Chrome or Safari. I never see it on my Windows 10 system.

Hi, we are web-designer.

We have replaced the first 2 PDF in the page https://www.gazebo.it/documenti-certificazioni/:

https://www.gazebo.it/documenti-certificazioni/iso-9001-2015-web.pdf https://www.gazebo.it/documenti-certificazioni/iso-14001-2015-web.pdf

With firefox the preview still show the old version pdf, but if you download it, the version is correct.

The difference between two versions is in the first box bottom left: old one has only text, new one has a “Istituto Giordano” logo.

With Chrome, Safari, Opera, Edge, Explorer there are no issue.

Only firefox has this issue.

We tried to clear cache, browse in anonymous, modify PDF name... with no luck.

Thanks! Ste
