I have been going to the same website using Firefox for a year or two and now when I go there the home page for the site shows up for a few seconds then disappears leaving a white screen. Once when I was backspacing there was a notice saying it had been deleted from it's cache and to reload which I did but nothing happened. I have also been using CCleaner and I have been cleaning the MFT free space for Drive C I've been doing that for a month or so and I'm wondering if that caused the problem? I wouldn't think so if it was the problem it should have happened the first time I used it and it should happen on my other browsers and it hasn't. It's only 2 web sites that I know of that have this problem there may be others but I haven't found them yet. How do I get FF to reload the site in it's cache and keep it there if this is a problem with FF? If this is a problem with CCleaner and the free space scan I'd like to know that. Hello guys, so in the past 2-3 days i started facing Cross-Origin Request Blocked for a lot of websites lets take chatgpt for example, if i visit it i get:

The resource from “https://cdn.oaistatic.com/_next/static/chunks/sso.74deac81d652476b.js?dpl=f90a861ef09abad575887be5d613ce15a4fdb6d9” was blocked due to MIME type (“text/plain”) mismatch (X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff).

and its getting so annoying that its blocking a lot of websites, i tried chromium it works fine and works awesomely no cors no problems. I even tried to disable the firefox protection, dns over https on/off, change my main dns upstream, installed firefox developer, compete uninstall/reinstall, cache clear from installers and from firefox it self nothing is working. I will provide firefox developer edition troubleshooting information but keep in mind it doesnt work on both firefox normal and developer

Please any help would be appreciate it.

This current version of Firefox (126.0) is preventing Yahoo! Comments from showing/displaying in ANY Yahoo! article. After I finished reading a Yahoo! article, the Yahoo! Comments is viewed but upon clicking on Comments, it just disappeared. It happens in any Yahoo! article with Comments. I used Safari to see if I experience similar issue but Safari is able to show/display Yahoo! Comments upon clicking on them. I have no other browser plug-in or app in Firefox preventing Yahoo! Comments from showing, it seems to be a Firefox JavaScript issue.

Hi! When I bring up my Firefox browser it automatically shuts down and comes up again with two issues: 1. Do you want to restore pages? 2. A red striped URL with the little robot and the error message: browser is under remote control reason devtools

I've read all the postings and I don't understand many of what they are suggesting and those that I do, don't work. Please help p.s. I've already downloaded the newest version.

Hi, 1. I use PocketSmith accounting software and some its functions do not work since the last Firefox update. The same problem exists regardless of which computer I use. The common factor is Firefox. The problem does not occur if I use a private window in Firefox or use a Chrome browser. PocketSmith have run extensive checks and the problem does not appear to be at their end.

2. I can no longer log in to my eBay account, unless I use a private window or Chrome. I can enter my user name but am unable to progress to the password window. Again this occurs regardless of the computer I use. Both are Mac desktops.

Hi Guys, every time i open a white website like google or my schools website it turns light grey like the attached photo. I haven't tried anything as I dont know how to fix it. Thanks

When going to mail.yahoo.com, I get this error message:

The page isn't redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to guce.yahoo.com. • This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

and this is the URL that I am redirected to: https://guce.yahoo.com/consent?brandType=nonEu&gcrumb=bWAMXTs&done=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.yahoo.com%2F

It works OK with Chrome, I just do not like Chrome! I made changes to allow cookies and that made no difference.

Reply to zeroknight - 2. I use Bitwarden for my password manager. When I disabled it I was able to access Regions. All my other logins seem to be working OK. Maybe a Bitwarden update will fix the problem. Anyway, I know what the problem is now.

I was having trouble getting into my Ancestry account. I called their support and they said it was my browse not connecting with them. I can access if I use Edge, but I don't like that format and would much more prefer Firefox. Is there a problem, or were they just brushing me off? How can I get into Ancestry using Firefox again? Can you please advise.

updated to Version 124.0.1 (64-bit), now adblocker ultimate blocking website ( are you human? not a robot requests). There's no button to confirm.

I can get to log in screen ( Sams' club) but it goes right back to the are you human screen?, 

I can access the website if turn off Adblocker Ultimate. Adblocker appears up to date. When I disable Adblocker there is still a request, but this time a button below to press and hold which takes me to login screen. I can successfully login then. Reporting the issue which began within 5 min of the last Firefox update. I updated 3/23/2024

Yesterday I was playing videos on rumble fine. Sat my laptop down, picked it back up after waking up and suddenly no sound on any rumble.com video. Youtube plays video and audio fine. So does X and truth social. In fact, any website plays audio EXCEPT rumble.com. Its not Windows related. Its firefox related. I installed Chrome and rumble.com plays with sound fine. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled and that didnt fix it. I have rumble installed via WebCatalog an it plays videos and audio fine. I then installed Firefox nightly and never signed in or anything and still rumble isnt playing sound. Its rumble+firefox=no sound. And it appears to be happening to others too on other help forums. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?

Reply to zeroknight. Disabling the extensions did the trick. I only have five extensions so I'll just go through them one at a time until I find the culprit.

I deleted the site cookies and disabled tracking protection with no success, however, I was able to login in trouble shooting mode. I went back to normal mode but was still unable to login. Is there anything I can do to correct the problem?

I created a website with a pretty simple css in the body of the page. I have a background image, but its colors are too dominant, so I also added a background color property to make the background more "pale". This approach worked perfectly in Chrome and I am 99% sure that I also tested this back then in Firefox and it worked as expected.

Now, only a white background is displayed in Firefox (Chrome works perfectly), which is interesting, because nor the image nor the set colour is white (well... the colour is white, but it is semi transparent). Did I miss something or is this an accidentally added bug in Firefox?

Firefox freezes - energy efficiency? Version 124.0.1 (64-bit) Windows 11, version 23H2

Firefox has been freezing up completely, all windows and does not unfreeze if I wait, if I click "wait for Firefox to respond" it will pop up again immediately, no matter how many times I click it.

I associate this problem with the new "efficiency mode" that shows two green leaves by some of my firefox processes. The pop-up by the icon says it's to "limit resources used by the process" which suggests the cause is limiting access to necessary resources.

I have found no way to disable this unwanted "feature" - although I am all for eliminating carbon emissions, I need the browser to work.

When this happens immediately after restarting Firefox, the "restore previous session" is gone, so I lose a ton of open work.

If I try ending processes one by one, focusing on the green leaves (not all have the green leaves icon), I invariably close the last window while many other processes are present, losing ability to restore history.

I have written Windows help with no response. (This seems suspicious, as a way to disable competitors.)

I do not see this happen in Chrome.

PLEASE: 1) Provide a way to restore history from previous session (e.g., all windows in last week? or recent instance?) 2) Solve this problem - is it the "energy mode" setting?

1. When I am video chatting on FB Messenger, I can see myself, and hear the other person, but I can't see them. I use Firefox as my default, and don't like using edge, but this is not an issue on edge, so I've resorted to using edge for this function until I can resolve.

2. I have 3 gmail accounts. One is my primary, 2nd is used for subscriptions and memberships, 3rd is one of my businesses. For some reason when I navigate to my business one from my primary, AND I just checked....going directly to my business one, it won't open. The others work fine.

Please advise what I need to do.
