YouTube will no longer load, but only in Firefox. It works in every other browser I have. If I have a DIRECT link to a video page the video itself will load, but nothing else does. I have attached screenshots of the YouTube homepage not loading, the video page failing to load, and then it successfully loading in other browsers. I also attached a screenshot of my plugins. I have no extensions installed for Firefox. My browser has no updates available either it says, and my cookies have already been cleared. Still will not load.

Good evening, I have a problem with the display of bold text on the Wordpress site editor.

I have already contacted the Wordpress experts and we have noticed that the problem does not exist with other browsers and does not depend on the brand of the PC, given that we have tried with different PCs and with different operating systems (Mac and Windows).

The problem really comes from the browser.

How can I solve it?

I go to www.archive.org on a regular basis. Now though, all I get is a blank screen and when I click on the small figure at the address bar, I get the meassage "Connection not secure"

Why is this suddenly happening? In the week since I was there last, I have not changed any hardware or software.

Even though I discovered that "private mode" will get to that page, I like to keep my history file complete for when I need to refind something. I don't want to have to start using ":private mode" for browsing.

I really don't care if it is not a secure site. I trust it and want to go there. How do I override this so I can get back to a site that I have visited hundreds of times before this problem showed up?

BTW, cookies and caches have been cleared out. The computer has been rebooted. My internet connection has been reset (several times). The results have not changed. None of my other frequently visited sites does this. Only www.archive.org

Can't login to tv.verizon.com. Entering login info produces the message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Trying the same login with Chrome works fine.

Should I be going back to using Chrome again?

I am facing a critical problem with my website when accessed through Firefox. The browser is not properly loading my website; instead, it cuts off the page and frequently hangs, causing a frustrating user experience. When watching a video on youtube using firefox the network speed displayed by youtube is significantly slow that when on a chromium browser in this case edge. I have tried prievous suggestions such as disabling Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt) and tried in troubleshooting mode, neither have an effect. I have attached screenshots from the same video from each browser.

4 PM, November 7, 2023 EST. The "About" page of all YouTube channels suddenly disappeared, whatever the the login status. A compressed version will show up from a channel's home page when clicking on the site description from its Home page. Make things weirder, ~6:15 PM it WAS visible from the Tor browser but started acting the same. I have no ad blockers, or ANY extension installed on any apps, including Firefox/TOR browsers. Updates to both browsers were made prior to this behavior. It may be Google/YouTube's fault but it's becoming frustrating because I prefer Mozilla's browsers over Edge or Chrome.

my connection to the internet drops and I receive a message that says "No Internet Connection". This happens frequently at home, and at work and has been going on for months. I will generally close Firefox and reopen, then it says that Firefox is still running and do I want to close and I click yes. I still have a good signal in every case. It mostly happens when I have my email open and another site, like banking, subschool, or doing some type of research. I use chrome for some apps, but I don't like using it but they don't work in Firefox, and I never get a crash notice. I have checked for updates for WIndows 10, ZoneAlarm, Firefox, and drivers and everything is up to date. Other than that I can't find any more information or posts on this. Please help Ronald Fisk

Is there a reason why the website won't load properly for Mozila?

Firefox not responding to general websites on the web (Ex: Amazon.com, etc.). I have several Mozilla-recommended security extensions that may be working against my firefox connecting to these general-in-nature websites.

I am using an older OSx version which I am happily using Firefox 78.15 with no issues. Last week I easily attended meetings via Google Meets with no problems to date, until today.

All of a sudden it states that my browser doesnt support it. I have tried all workaround, uninstalled add-ons etc.

Was there a sudden change? This will affact my day to day work if meets no longer works.

I'm not sure what happened because it never broke sites like this before. Sometimes it makes a site impossible to read. I haven't done anything to the browser and this just started happening.

Hello, I did something stupid. I was trying to set up the dark/light theme via cli, and I asked openai about it.

It suggested this command:

echo 'user_pref("lightweightThemes.selectedThemeID", "firefox-compact-light@mozilla.org");' | jq -s '.[0]' > ~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default-release/prefs.js

Which resulted in the following error:

jq: parse error: Invalid numeric literal at line 1, column 11

When I opened mozilla, my profile was reset, and websites won't load (except this one!). They just hang there loading forever. My internet is fine, chromium works perfectly.

So how do I fix this and is there a way I can recover my profile? (Yes I know I should've made backups)
