Hi, I have win7pro 864) and I run "FF quantum 62.0 - 32 bit"

I'm really struggling with Windows Media Player plugin for FF: I downloaded and installed the latest version (1.0.0.8 is it?) but it doesn't work...

Indeed I cannot see it within the installed plugins and if I try to "install by file (np-mswmp.dll)" it gets me an error of file corruption...

I really don't know what to do anymore...Where can I download it?

thanks a lot!

The wrapping problem does not occur in the other browsers I have tried. I also looked at the page in Explorer and Edge. No problems there. I do not have Chrome installed. Look at these examples:

Narrow your browser window until you see the problem in Firefox.

The title says it all:

After the Developer Toolbar has been removed in Firefox v62, how do I emulate media queries, like "print"? And how do I reset this setting?

Just for your information in case your are in doubt about my question: While the Developer Toolbar was active, the Developer Toolbar command for setting media emulation to print was "media emulate print". The command for resetting the media type was "media reset".

Your answer is appreciated.

I'm having this issue in Firefox where it's rendering all of the Google fonts on two websites I've created as BOLD instead of THIN or REGULAR or whatever else they're set to in the CSS. I've found many instances online of users reporting this and similar issues over the past few years and have tried a number of solutions. Adding the following code as "extra CSS" to the Wordpress theme is the only thing that fixes it:

html { -moz-osx-font-smoothing: grayscale; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; font-smoothing: antialiased; }

Yet adding this code has caused other rendering issues on the site. Both sites I'm having this issue on look fine in Chrome and Safari btw. I've troubleshooted by clearing my caches, disabling the few plugins I have installed and switched to different WP themes by different developers but the problem persists. I tried changing FF settings too... disabling plugins and add-ons, switched themes and turned off hardware acceleration to no avail. It should be noted I don't notice this on random sites I visit, just these that I've created using Wordpress. Checking another site I created by hand coding the Google fonts render fine.

Attached are two examples of the issue. First is the correct rendering, second is the incorrect BOLD rendering of the same text. Any thoughts anyone?

This is about Style Editor, which uses different code for styling. The colors used in browser toolbox (Ctrl + Shft + Alt + I) *Style Editor* uses Code Mirror selectors. Due to less than perfect sight & the poor visibility / contrast colors of found search terms & several other things in Style Editor, I needed to change things.

I didn't have too much problem finding most of CM's CSS selectors for what I needed. In all the CSS files associated with code mirror in the dark theme, I haven't found how to change the foreground (text) color when selecting lines or sections of code.

In Linux, Style Editor's default selected background is almost the same as the body BG color (looking at the hex colors used, and just visually. This from codemirror.css in omni.ja, changes selected, unfocused background: .CodeMirror-selected {

 background: #D4E7F9 !important;

This changes the selected, focused BG color: .CodeMirror-line::selection, .CodeMirror-line > span::selection, .CodeMirror-line > span > span::selection {

  background-color: #E9ECD8 !important; }

But I've found nothing for foreground "color," to make the selected text legible through the light selected BG color I chose. Just adding "color: #0000FF !important;" - under the background property doesn't work (like many CSS styled UIs - especially text editors).

Is it possible that Code Mirror doesn't have a way to change the text color on selected areas? Most text editors I've tested usually have preference menu settings for things like selected - foreground & BG color. Or they have themes that add extra UI styling ability. The themes on code mirror's site don't seem to use selected foreground color (or just "color"). Maybe it doesn't understand that concept.

If the highlight BG color chosen for CM is fairly light with some transparency, you can read some darker syntax colors, but not all.

Using another text editor with better search, I looked & searched all files I could find that control some of Style Editor's / code mirror's colors.

The only thing I found where I could change selected text color was one rule for searching in Style Editor. It's in codemirror.css ... and it doesn't work that consistently for visibility. /chrome/devtools/content/shared/sourceeditor/codemirror/lib/codemirror.css

The default colors (someone) used for search term matches have little contrast.

LINE 330: .cm-searching {

 background-color: rgba(255, 255, 170, 0.6) !important; /* The 1st BG value listed is for focused search result highlight.*/
 color: #0808E5 !important;
 background-color: rgba(2226, 253, 251, .6) !important; }

NOTE: I added the color property in ".cm-searching" - and it worked. Same trick doesn't work for any selection rules I tried. Codemirror's online manual is fairly spartan https://codemirror.net/doc/manual.html#styling

Hi, I have a problem with checkboxes and radiobuttons in firefox.

It renders a checkbox in grid-like pattern when the checkbox is styled with width and height attributes. It can be best seen in the provided image together with inspect-element for that checkbox. The relevant site is https://www.w3schools.com/w3css/w3css_input.asp. But it can be done for any checkbox.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and I've updated to Firefox v65 but the problem persists. In Chrome it gets rendered correctly.

Please advise on how to fix this behavior.

Hello. I have been trying to get the Firefox debugger to hook up with the Aptana editor. The instructions that I have are obsolete. The link http://firefox.aptana.com/update/ is supposed to automatically download the extension. It just takes me to a search engine results page full of links that barely touch on the subject. I also found out the Firebug has been deprecated.

Question: Are Firefox and Aptana divorced? Is there still a way to combine the Aptana editor to the Firefox debugger?

Note: I control the server. The following is noted on the client:

Your connection is not secure

The owner of [myDomain] has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

And yet, an online cert checker states: Congratulations! This certificate is correctly installed.

So, the obvious answer is it's a caching problem. I found 2 cookies from the old domain that I deleted and then cleared the cache. No luck. *Yes, old domain as I now have a new domain. It sees the old cert for the old domain, which I have revoked and deleted with "certbot revoke". Using Letsencrypt on ubuntu 16.04

Thank you in advance for any help!
