I used to be able to connect with Firefox (with a warning message from you) to my local Netgear NAS, but now it just says:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.1.100. Peer using unsupported version of security protocol. Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. This web site might not support the TLS 1.2 protocol, which is the minimum version supported by Firefox.

How can I still override this with Firefox. It's really important I can connect to my NAS.

With thanks,

Nick Curley

firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to ads.mozilla.org

It is a good thing that I have a good security system as Firefox is not doing its job. What is the problem? This is happening at least 60 to 100 times a day now. Kind Regards, Charlotte Sainz

From my desktop, Firefox refuses to connect to Dropbox.com. I get alternating error messages: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

I've disabled extensions, cleared cache and restarted. Nothing has helped.

I also have Firefox on my laptop and have no problems connecting to Dropbox.com

Help. Thanks.

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to mmlsay.assam.gov.in. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely.

What can you do about it?

mmlsay.assam.gov.in has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

I opened up my Firefox today after a week away and have not been able to connect to anything. I’ve tried other browsers and they function fine. I’ve emptied the cache of cookies, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my laptop but for some reason, despite it all, Firefox is the one that refuses to work. Even now I’m getting ‘Secure Connection Failed’ and I’ve been at it for three hours at this point. Do i just need to take my laptop into store at this point?
