Hi Helpful People. I scanned the QR code to continue the two part authentication of my account. When I opened it all I received was an inappropriate ad. When I tried again I went to someone trying to scam me about security. I am using this forum to tell someone this happened. Thank you.

Hi, i am trying to upload a Firefox extension, it is my first one and i am trying to upload it. I however cannot get it to work as the code my authentication app does not work. I have tried several authentication apps but i am always returned with the same error message whenever i enter in my code. "Invalid two-step authentication code". Is their a fix to this, so far i tried using google authenticator and DuoMoblile. Thanks

TWO STEP VERIFICATION AUTOMATICALLY FORCED ON ONE OF MY COMPUTERS

Hi, I am failing to access two of my yahoo mail accounts.

I am using Fire fox as my browser and Yahoo as my home page.

I have one other yahoo account which doesn't use two step signing in (where they send a code to my Android phone). This I can access.

I see there are a lot of people on the Internet suffering the same thing. What is the answer; if there is any.

I have tried most of the suggestions. I can't email them (can't find their address) or phone them (number don't work).

There are premium numbers. Is this the way it is going? If it is; if I can get my emails back, I think I will leave them.

No point emailing me. I can't get in.

Please Help; help; help, Ahhhhhh!

The best would be to recover additional backup codes but the address [ https://g.co/2sv doesn't do the job.

I cannot log in to iCloud.com, even after setting a popup block exception. When I click on the "go" arrow after entering password, I get a notice on my iPhone to allow access. After I approve, I get a 6-digit verification code on the iPhone. But no popup window appears on the Firefox tab, so I can enter the code. Any suggestions?

Hi I have my recovery key under the email and wish to reactivate the account. I can’t receive the two factor authentication email to be able to get to the place where I input the key. Thank.

This is rather annoying. Firefox will disconnect/logout my account rather frequently. But the actual issue is... when I go to log back into the account. The login process will send me an e-mail with a code.

And I have 2FA disabled, but I still have to go through the 2FA process.

How do I effectively TURN THIS OFF.

(I do not store passwords in Firefox...I only store a few convenient shortcuts in the bookmark bar)

I use this feature so I have the same shortcuts in my bookmarks bar across multiple computers.

When I want to login with my Firefox account it asks me for a code as 2 factor but I can't remember that I ever signed up for 2 -factor . I have 2 apps fro 2 factor: google and Microsoft but neither has Mozilla identification in it. I would like to sign up for 2 factor but it looks like someone already did that for me. What now?

Hi there, I am trying to get firefox to stop allowing outlook to try and get my fingerprint or face ID as my Macbook Pro 2014 doesn't have these features. I am running macOS Big Sur (as this is the only one that still works decent). The Open Web Autentification Panel pop up says "Touch your secuity key to continue with login.microsoft.com". I cannot receive confirmation codes from yahoo to access my emails. I have tried everything else and have been advised to check with my browser (Firefox).

I arrive at 'Enter verification code' and given 3 options; I use 'Text' via my Android phone. I don't do social networks.

It has been working grand up until the last 3 weeks or there about.

I have very important emails waiting and it is all driving me crazy.

I cannot access Yahoo help; it seems I have to log in which I cannot because I need to receive these codes to log in.

Can anyone help? Personally I think it should be Mozilla but again I seem to be going around in circles. And I cannot receive emails as the check box states ..... Email me when someone answers the thread.

Several years ago I created an account for Firefox Sync. Meanwhile I changed my mail address, the old one, with which I registered, has been deleted as I just realized. So I can no longer access the code to login on new devices. What am I supposed to do now?

I cant setup my 2FA every time Im at the end of the process where I need to add one of my security keys it just crashed with note that my time of the device is not corrent or whatever.
