I recovered my account using a backup code and set a new password. Two-step authentication is enabled but I don’t have the linked TOTP app. The settings UI does not allow disabling 2FA and does not offer backup code input. I still have unused 10-character backup recovery codes. Please advise.

Good morning, I need to get off 2FA on my account Firefox kamilmian@gmail.com because by mistake I delete it in my phone and as I remember still have support phone in my configuration but 2FA blocks my option to login. Also I don't know where I have my codes, even after having acces to gmail account and phone. Please help.

TWO STEP VERIFICATION AUTOMATICALLY FORCED ON ONE OF MY COMPUTERS

AND FIREFOX DOES NOT "REMEMBER" WHEN SIGNED IN EVEN THOUGH CHECKED AT SIGNIN

WHEN I VIEW MY SETTINGS,,,,TWO STEP COMES BACK AS DISABLED.....BUT THATS INACCURATE ?? HOW CAN I DISABLE THE FORCED TWOSTEM FEATURE ON THIS SINGLE COMPUTER ??

I have a fingerprint scanner and a slot for a security key, but I have never used a security key, either in the slot or a USB plugin.

When I try to go to Gmail, I enter my gmail address, and then Firefox pops up a screen wanting me to insert my security key, and there are no buttons to change how I verify my identity.

I've hunted all around for what setting in Firefox is causing it, but no luck so far. Ideas?

i AM SICK OF THIS. eVERYTHING i HAVE ALREADY IS PROTECTED. i DO NOT NEED fIREFOX BLOCKING ME OR SENDING MESSAGES TO A PHONE THAT IS DOWNSTAIRS. do YOU KNOW HOW IRRITATING THIS> i GUESS IT IS TIME TO FIRE YOU AND FIND ANOTHER BROWSER THAT IS NOT DISRUPTING MY LIFE.

I have been stuck for 3 days now and tried everything to get pass the authentication process.

I want to submit an Add on. On my profile page, 2 step authentication is enabled.

When i click submit new add-on, i am directed to the Enable two-step authentication page anyway. So ok i'll do that:

"Scan authentication code to continue to ⁨Add-ons⁩"

So i use google authenticator. And im able to continue.

Then im presented with "Save backup authentication codes", so i download them and store them.

PROBLEM:

On the next page, in need to "Confirm backup authentication code". ANY code i try, that was given to me in the previous step, doesn't work.

Error: There was a problem confirming your backup authentication code.

• not using caps or whatever
• no spaces in there
• tried all the codes
• tried different browsers
• The time and date are correct on both phone and windows 10

I have NO clue what to do anymore. I can't get passed it. Can someone please advice. (see screenshots)

Hello, I have tried everything...filters, added contact, blocked senders but I'm still not receiving any email from Firefox. I need my verification numbers to continue to sign into my account. thanks in advance for helping, Scott

I have looked in my email for the code to sync my devices and there is no code, what is the authentification App I do not have that on my computer for the longest while I have been unsuccessful in pairing because I can't find code and that has been quite frustrating for me.

I want to reset the password from another platform but I'm not receiving there resetting code that's the problem I try to sign using my password but the password refuse to be signed so I want to reset that password but I'm not receiving there notification code

I want to be receiving notification like when I reset my password I don't receive the code of resetting a password you know okay a lot like signing in receiving a notification

I received an email saying that someone had signed into my account. I want to secure my account and don't know how? I'm also not sure the email is real and isn't a scam and don't want to click on any email links...
