The issue seems to be with DRM. Although DRM videos play on other sites like on Amazon Prime Video. I've done everything I could find on the internet as to fix this issue like I've checked and unchcecked play DRM content in the settings and cleared cookies and cache and everything but nothing seems to be fixing the issue. Also, everytime I load Netflix I get a little yellow dialogue box saying installing components please try again. This happens everytime I load Netflix. Now when I click on any video it asks me to install SilverLight, I've installed it already but still it asks me to install it to play the video.

Last week Adobe Flash stopped actuating/working with Firefox and there is no black box in the address bar or any place else that I see that asks me to activate it. I have it set as Always Activate on the Plug-Ins page but that isn't helping. I checked and have the most recent version. I had to go through several steps to activate it but it does work in Chrome. I run Win 7 and Firefox is my default browser. Please advise how I can get Flash to work again as it is hampering a lot of my activity on the web. Thank you.

Earlier today I tried to full screen youtube and It wouldn't work. I saw some suggestions on here saying delete cookies so I did and now it full screens, however the video is partway down the screen and above it is an empty white box. I've tried restarting in safe mode and deleting cookies again and neither of those worked. i'm having no issues in other browsers so I have no idea what could be causing it.

I have post this questions a week ago but there is no response of my questions. I re-post it and hope someone could help to resolve the problem. The firefox v.65 crash , usually after 3o mins, when I have the new brought photoshop elements 2019 program running in the background. After crashed I try to restore the tab. However, firefox crash again right after restart and restore the tab. If I keep trying to restore the tab. The firefox has no response and freeze. A error message come out " video driver failed to restart ....... Sometime the computer get into blue screen and die. i find that the problem also happen with Microsoft Edge browser too. I google the possible issue of the crash and get some information regarding the crash. It may be cause by the photoshop element face detection feature use too much memory to run the program or the program has memory leak problem that cause firefox crash.
I did check my computer RAM memory and PC window system files. they did not show any error. I refresh firefox and reinstall my video driver. However, it make no change of the crash situation. The firefox crash and Blue screen die issues only happen if I run my photoshop element and premier 2019 program at the same time. Adobe support said that it was not photoshop element program problem for the firefox crash.
I want to find out what is the root problem of the crash and how to fix it. I also want to know any known issue firefox crash assoicated with photoshop elements program.

Now, links open in the same tab, no matter how I select options under "TABS". Getting back to where I started can be very tedious and confusing.
Opening links in a new tab would be OK, but that doesn't work either. All links open in the same tab.
How can I improve the way links open?

I'm posting this from my XP machine since I don't want to do anything more on my Windows 7 laptop (where the issue exists) that might cause me untold grief. I had seen the message to "Restart Firefox to Update" for several days but was busy doing 'stuff' so I held off. Was also getting messages that Adobe Acrobat Reader had been updated successfully and that I should restart for the update to take effect. Finally, since I wanted to replace my AVG Free AV with ZoneAlarm Internet Security, I decided it was time to close all my active programs, including Firefox, remove AVG Free AV, download and install ZoneAlarm Internet Security and then shut down my laptop in order to install any Windows 7 updates. In order to shut down Firefox while maintaining all my Windows and Tabs, I typically just pull-down the Menu and select 'Exit'. When I open Firefox again, I select 'Restore previous session", my Windows all come up and my tabs are all there and I'm off to the races! However, when I tried that this time, I received a warning that I had 8 Windows open and 441??? tabs (I have a lot but it is nowhere near that number [150 maybe]) in use and they would all be closed if I chose to exit. Since this is my way of remembering all of the things that I am working on at any given time, I DEFINITELY DIDN'T WANT TO DO THAT!! So, the only choice I had seemed to be to click on the "Restart Firefox to Update" button in the "Help" --> "About Firefox" dialog box. However, I did that about 6 hours ago and the little blue 'circle' just keeps 'spinning' and the hard drive access light flashes periodically (more so, within the first 30 minutes or so after clicking on the 'Restart' button) but the 'Restart' has not completed. I guess I will have to abort the update somehow but I don't want to do that part way through a 'Restart' and I DEFINITELY DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY OPEN TABS!!! What should I do to be able to get back to productive work using Firefox?!

Realized recently that all icons from background apps I'm running, like: Privacy Badger, Lightbeam and uBlock Origin, among others, have disappeared completely from my Firefox top toolbar - or, a Firefox top toolbar.
For instance, I have recently fired up a VPN service. I wanted to fire off Lightbeam to see how/if the VPN is working, but the Lightbeam icon is gone, as is the Privacy Badger icon, and the uBlock Origin icon, among others.
As far as I can tell, some, or all, of these installed apps, 'seem' to be still installed and actively running in background mode.
I 'think' uBlock Origin, for example, dynamically blocked a couple of nasty tabs recently.
But I can't get any info on/from/regarding these apps (or some of them, perhaps, at least). I don't even know where these apps are stored and/or whether or not they are still installed and running, although I 'think' they are.
Recent Firefox upgrades have fired up Pocket, which seems/seemed interesting. However, is it possible, perhaps, that Firefox upgrades and/or instantiation of Pocket caused these apps [or at least, the icons for these apps, that appeared to be the equivalent of shortcuts], to have disappeared?!
I hate it when stuff like this changes/happens. Usually, with Microsoft and Windows, here and there, seems like you need to empathize with the OS from the ground up.
Every once in a while - less so, for a while now - it seemed like I would sneeze or wave my hands and I'd have, I dunno, a sidebar menu, for instance where one either didn't exist before or was a horizontal toolbar.
Arrggh...
Have checked most of the postings for: how to customize, add/modify this or that toolbar and several other options, but am totally at sea, as to what might have changed [and when and how] to cause these apps, and the valuable info that they and their icons provide, to disappear.
