I understand that as from 14th March 2025 I will need to update Firefox. I am currently running 102.0 and have sucessfully prevented Firefox from updating to later versions. I did this to prevent the updates positioning the tabs in the wrong place. Please can you tell me if the CSS script that I use to put them back into their correct position, i.e. below the Bookmarks Toolbar, will still work.
Also, will newer versions allow the user to choose where the tabs are positioned? It was possible to do this in earlier versions and the choice is also available in other browsers.
I have also managed to stop Windows 10 updating for several years too, Microsoft kept altering my laptop in unacceptable ways.

I'm having to use a back up computer. I opened FireFox and I have no tab bar and no way to open tabs. I have this incredibly annoying sidebar that I was at least able to move to the right. But I can't make it horizontal or clear it. I need the sidebar gone and my tab bar back.
If I right click the sidebar, I do not get an option to get rid of it.
I have checked settings repeatedly. I have even attempted to add a button at the upper right to open tabs. It goes to the sidebar with no labels and no way to clear. It's maddening.

Good Day,
I am leaving Brave as my default browser for Firefox.... Brave is good, just would prefer Firefox. I used to love it.
The problem is...I have a theme on Brave and Chrome that I love dearly. Is there a way to bring that theme to Firefox? I tried using Firefox Color, but it looked awful.
PS: I am the tech Village Idiot so please talk to me in that vein ;)
Thank you and Warmest Regards, Alisa (Stormwolfe)

Starting yesterday, whenever I open Firefox, a second page also opens. It is blank and unresponsive to commands. Doesn't do much of anything. The address in the address bar is for a crypto-currency exchange which I've never done business with nor ever visited to my knowledge. No input either on the main screen nor in the address window seems possible. The only thing functional on the page is the red-X in the upper right hand corner. It works fine. But whenever I close Firefox then re-open it, the second crypto-exchange page is there again. It opens concurrently with the regular Firefox browser page. Which functions normally. I don't know what to make of it, and I don't want it. Does anyone have any ideas???
It seems crazy that Firefox does not have the ability to set new tabs to be any URL that I want. Why do I have to install an extension to get this basic feature?

I'm wondering if there's a way to MOVE open browser windows in the way that you can move tabs around within a window? I do a lot of research and I work this way in order to go back to a particular subject and continue where I left off. Right now I have 20 windows open with any where from 5 to 12 tabs in some of these windows. When using my pointer I see only the tab that was opened in a particular window when I closed FF. I tried holding the pointer and dragging the open windows in the task bar...but no luck.
I guess I'm asking if there's anyway I could get a quick view of what every tab in every window open actually is, or perhaps use search words to find what I'm looking for?
Thank you any response ~~Bonnie
Usually when I open Firefox I have the option to open more than one tab at the same time, but now it only gives me one option?
标签栏问题 1.标签栏不支持垂直展示,标签页过多时不便于浏览,垂直展示可以展示更过标签页。 2.标签页有点大,可以适当缩小点,可以展示更过标签页,可以使内容页更大。

Hi Was told to ask new question off of this tread. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1314940#question-reply
I have similar issue. Have file that has all the tab history, but can't get Firefox to recognize or use it. The scrounger pulls up everything so the file is good it seems.
Why can't, or how do we get Firefox to use it?
Thank you

IDK what topic this is! When I close tabs but later restart the browser or come out of "sleep" - they are repoened. I'm not talking about the ones I left open. I closed them and they don't stay that way. They insert themselves into their original positions as if I had told them to reopen, and accumulate. I want them gone please :O( This has been going on for years.

I need last link I middle-clicked to open to the right of current tab. If I middle-click links 1,2,3 on page 0, I need tabs to be 0,3,2,1, instead FireFox places 3-rd link after the 2nd and 2nd after the 1st, resulting in 0,1,2,3. I tried changing browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent is "true". The only thing I found is https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/open-tabs-next-to-current/, but it interferes with "Clipboard to Tabs" addon and occasionally seems to not work.
FireFox behavior is also wildly inconsistent. It depends on whether I switched to these tabs and interacted with them. Some interactions cause it to forget they were "related".
Hi Support,
Please share to developer team - Make it possible to group taps in Firefox :)
Thanks!

I just activated the new tab grouping feature (that has been something I've really wanted from FF so that I can start getting away from Chrome) and I've tried it out and have been happy with it so far. I understand this is in beta still I think and I had some questions:
Really excited for this functionality to continue taking off; I do love a way to organize my many tabs!!
Cheers,
What settings reloads existing open tabs after a restart"? Thanks.
Hi, I moved my tabs to the side from the top toolbar the other day. Now I have neither and cannot use multiple sites at once.
I have tried to browse the internet through the main way way with no lock but I can browse using the private window. Why is that?
