Hello, in the last couple of days I spent a lot of time deleting old accounts stored in "passwords" in my Firefox account and making sure no vulnerable passwords were still around. I did it from my Mozilla account, on a laptop.

When I was done with it, I signed out from my account on my Android Firefox app, and deleted all the cache and the data, to remove all the old password. Unfortunately, when I looged back in my Firefox account, the old passwords were still there and synced on my laptop as well.

So, is there any way I can undo that Sync? The problem is that now not only all my cleaning pointless, but I changed the password for many accounts and the Sync override it with the old ones.

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

I just got a new computer and when downloading and signing in to firefox on my new computer it somehow brought over saved tabs from my dad's computer and not my old computer. It did not used to be like this on my old computer however I created a firefox account on my old computer hoping that if I did that and signed in on my new computer it would bring over my saved tabs and info. It did bring over my info but kept my dad's tabs as well. Is there a way to get rid of my dad's tabs on my new computer without deleting them from his computer as well? I also then created a new firefox profile in hopes that when I signed in to that one it would only bring my information but it just replicated the original profile, now I am hoping to delete that second profile but I am worried that will delete all of my information because when I go to delete it it says it will delete a bunch of my saved information. Is that information saved in my original profile so that if I delete the second profile I created it won't delete the data from the original profile (which is just the same information on both) as well? I can't seem to find anything to sign out of other than the new firefox account I just created, I was hoping to sign out of whatever I originally signed in with and try a different sign in but I can't even seem to find anywhere to sign out. I am not sure how I managed to do this, but any suggestions on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I created a firefox profile from another, so I start with the same saved passwords and bookmarks which is nice.

Now I want to sync this new profile with the sync service of the mozilla account.

First, I tried to use the same mozilla account I was using for the original profile (which would be ideal), but I get an error saying: This account is already in use.

OK, so I thought, instead, I could use an alternative mozilla account to sync this new copied profile, but, when I try to register/login with another account I get this other error:

This profile was previously synced with a different account.

To keep your data organized and secure, each Firefox profile can only be synced with one account. To log in using ***@***, you must create a new profile.

Isn't there anyway to sync this new profile to a mozilla account? What's the whole point of copying profiles if you, after, cannot sync it? :/

Running Mint on a removable drive on Win 11 machine. Launched Firefox and wanted to sync across devices. Finally ended up here (see attached). There's no "synch & save data" and the other sync at top of settings doesn't follow that path. The image on the Mint desktop doesn't scan within Firefox and using a separate scanner app produces a "do this within FF" error. Confusing and no way to resolve. I tried an extension scanner no help. Attachment shows Sync Now only possible method not correct (what I describe above).2nd image is what I see on PC screen (via Mint).

They [rimary password quit woking so changed it in mozzzila account which I'm logged into the browser, but it will not allow me to change the primary password in the browser or access a lot of stuff, . I updated the Password in the Mozzilla account, and since doing that the browser fails to sync.

I cannot figure out how to fix this in a lenovo laptop running stupid windows 11

I started using the new "Profiles" feature in firefox, and I created profiles one one device. However I am finding that the profiles are not syncing across my devices. Both are Windows 11 VMs, I tried doing manual syncs, singed out and back in to both devices. But the Profiles I create on each just do not seem to sync, is this the expected behavior ?

I just wanted create Account recovery key to keep my account more secure. So I did that + updated my password.

Now when I open the browser, it says account disconnected and that I need to create a new profile. I did that, but it started syncing from old chrome account with old extensions, bookmarks etc. Plus bookmarks from my phone.

I try to sign in and create new profile with the original profile settings that I want. But it keeps saying "This profile was previously synced to a different account". And now that I saved the bookmarks and made a third, fourth profile. Those don't work as it wants me to sign in. Only the 2nd profile that Firefox made me create which has the old extensions, bookmarks etc. It is missing a lot. So now I am just stuck in create profile loop. And cant use the one I want because I wanted more security? Do I need to uninstall and install again, would that help? I wish there was someone to talk to help me. I just want to use my original profile that I used earlier today to update the security settings.

使用系统：win11。我在之前的Firefox上已经登录了账号并开启了自动同步，前天我重新安装了系统并下载登录了账号。登录了账号之后并没有重新同步我的书签，我手动同步多次没有结果，并等待了一段时间自动同步，以及观察是否会同步书签到本地，结果仍没有。于是我尝试用我手机的Firefox登录电脑的Firefox，结果才同步了我手机的书签信息，但我手机的书签信息已经过时。而且电脑的Firefox显示可以和手机的Firefox互相同步信息及标签页等，但我观察后发现并没有完全同步，我电脑/手机的信息及标签页都是一天两天之前的，手动同步后仍然没有看到有更新。我希望同步回服务器的书签信息！

I reinstalled a new win11 and downloded fresh firefox. Sync is not working and I have no previous data to resume working. All tabs and logins are not showing in new firefox. Pls fix the issue.

Hello, All my fav and password have defaulted on new PC (none have synced over). I have no access to my old PC that i use firefox sync account (always save pw and urls). Faulty harddrive. On my new PC i forgot my Firefox password so did pw recovery with my MFA. All fine but none of my fav and passwords synced over (over 200 urls and 50+ passwords)

I still have my original recovery key there is no options to enter this after firefox login on my new PC.

Please help.

Firefox crashes. Blue dots moving next to too tabs. Problem began this morning upon opening Firefox and dialogs box asked if wanted to sync bookmarks with another device with Firefox.

I reinstalled Windows. Installed The last version of Firefox and logged into my account. But there weren't any of my previous settings (extensions, bookmarks, history etc.). What happened with them?

I had a previous account with firefox on a different computer and attempted to login on a new one, but once i logged in none of my passwords or data transferred even though it was the same account, just curious if there’s any way i can get my info onto my new computer besides using a sync key or manually importing it

installed latest FIREFOX, but cannot recover previous passwords and bookmarks Used to use 'Sync' login and password and it would auto download to the clean Firsfoc install. Now it wont ans years of passwords have vanished and I am in trouble! Please advise
