So looking at the at the change logs for v71 I do not see any notes to changes to the Client SSL system. But when we access an internal website that uses Client SSL for login controls. We get an SSL_ERROR_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE_ALERT error.
If we roll back to v70 of fix fox we do not get this error. Was bug missing or am i missing something in the change log.

Hi - I recently deleted SSLs from two of my websites and whislt doing so took all necessary steps to forced HTTP not HTTPS. The sites: 15rueduvieilhopital.fr & thetallskinnylattephilosopher.com load in all browsers and on all devices ok EXCEPT FF on my desktop (v69.0.3 on Mac OS 10.14.6) which keeps looking for the SSl and, because it can't find one, generates a security warning. For the record this doesn't happen in a private browsing window in FF. It appears that FF is somehow caching the SSL. I have deleted 'Everything' from my history and quite and restarted FF but the probelm perists.
Can anyone tell me how to remove the SSLs from the cache?
Thanks Martin

As of this morning, I am unable to access many of the sites I visit regularly and am now unable to conduct aspects of my business. The error is always that the connection timed out, the website isn't available and the tls handshake simply stops.
I can't even reach https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback/firefox/67.0/ because of this handshake. That's kind of ridiculous, isn't it?
The issue doesn't affect all websites, but unfortunately it's the ones I need. I've created a new profile, refreshed Firefox, reset my modem and router. My ISP says the connection is fine on their end.
Firefox is the only browser I have access to on my desktop. Google Chrome, which I don't want to use, works fine on my Android phone.

Hello,
after updating Firefox to v66.0, neither was I able to open pages like Wikipedia, Paypal etc nor any of my customers' websites.
This link helped me by saying to delete the SiteSecurityServiceState.txt file in the profile directory: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1162567
Since it isn't the first time this happened after an update, I wonder if it wouldn't be possible to provide such solutions on the respective error page. Even better, of course, if Firefox would automatically empty that file in such cases. Searching for a solution on the web brings up weird solutions for long outdated Firefox versions and the solution I found on these support pages has already been archived. After all such a problem is killing the work flow - and quite honestly I wonder how normal users and non English speakers will get along.

In the attached screenshot, I visited a page I know has an SSL certificate issue. In Chrome, I get a full-page warning. But in Firefox, just the description-less "Alert" box.
I tried disabling all of my plugins before visiting the site as well and got the same result. I don't seem to have customized any of the SSL or Certificate settings in about:config either.
Does anybody have any idea how I can get something approaching normal behaviour out of Firefox for mac?

"The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator. Your support ID is: 11373612934950299921" (with a different number each time)
I've cleared my histories, cache and cookies. My Firefox updates itself.
Going to other sites is fine.
I've spoken to the company, they don't know what's happened and are not having this problem themselves or with any other customers.
Which administrator might it be referring to? Can anyone help? (I'm not sure whether to click on 'Share Data' below; let me know if this would be helpful.) Many thanks.

Microsoft just updated and now Firefox will not let me open up any web sites, except yours. It will not even let me open my Star One Credit Union account saying it is unsecured. I clicked the box that said exception and now it allows me to open this. However, there are still many sites it will not let me access without declaring an exception. I like the fact that Firefox will notify me of unsecured sites, but since it seems to think every site is improperly set up, how do I know which sites are ok and which are not?

Firefox just started blocking nearly all websites, including the Firefox website, as untrusted. It won't let me add any websites to the trusted locations. I went to the Mozilla support website through Explorer and tried the fix (delete the cert8.db file and restart Firefox)but it did not work. I tried disabling ESET and restarting Firefox but that didn't work. I refreshed Firefox but that didn't work. All of my favorites work fine from Explorer. Right now Firefox is useless for me.

I have read through several other questions and the non-responsive answers. The best of them recommends obtaining and installing an old Firefox version from an unknown source. This as a circumvention for an apparently unalterable correction to a security exposure that does not exist on my network. It is quite unacceptable to be told that to work around a correction to a known potential vulnerability that does not exist I must install a large single purpose program that exposes not only that vulnerability but probably a number of others that might actually be of concern.
It is well and good to provide software and default settings that provide as much security as possible. It is unintelligent, however, to do it in such a way as to prevent circumvention in cases where the risk is known to be zero.
For the record, I have changed the following settings without success:
security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts;192.168.1.2 security.tls.version.fallback-limit;0 security.tls.version.min;0

I am a medical insurance biller. I downloaded Windows 8, and Mozilla Firefox so that I could use United Healthcare Authorizations because they stopped allowing use on Google Chrome. I tried to get on the site, and the message I received was:
"An error occurred during a connection to saml2.radiologynotifications.com. SSL received a weak ephemeral Diffie-Hellman key in Server Key Exchange handshake message. (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_ephemeral_dh_key)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."
When I looked this up, it said that your site said this was a malicious site and blocked it. This is a secure site. And I need this site for my work. I have been doing this for 15 years, and If I cannot use this I will be forced to use another browser.
Can you please help me?

Is there a way to roll-back the version to avoid this or a permanent fix? FireFox is currently the only browser that works very well with Cisco devices and now it will not work at all.
