Been having this issue for about a year. Paypal appears, recognizes me, then message "Something went wrong, return to Merchant" MAC OS 15.3.1 Firefox 136.0.1

I've cleared cache. Paypal just says clear cache, they don't know Firefox. I see another person having this issue but don't see a resolution. I've posted in various help communities Not getting an answer. I assume there is a setting I have because I have no problems on Safari. I'm not sure I know how to disable extension or what extension might be causing this.

If I highlight text on any page in Firefox 136.0, and then ask Gemini to "Explain this", Gemini opens in the Sidebar (I have selected the RHS of the screen for the sidebar), but my selected text is not entered into Gemini, and nothing happens. If I try this again while the sidebar is open, I get the message "Something went wrong, try reloading this page" Reloading the page doesn't help.

When I open a PDF in Firefox, a box covers the right half the page demonstrating the highlighter tool. It never leaves. It blocks half the page and prevents me from reading and/or printing. Please help. It's making my work impossible.

the About Firefox information says version 136.0.1 Firefox is up to date, however in the Update History in Settings, all the updates since version 113 are list as "updated failed"

Hello, I have entered 100% accurate login credentials. I know this because I know I can login with the same credentials on Safari and Chrome. I have enabled cookies and I have turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection and don't know why BofA.com won't load. I only get a spinning wheel that just keeps spinning. Please help! Thank you, David

So I have Firefox suggestions via my browser history enabled but when I go to input something, only my bookmarks show, I tried to toggle it off/on bit didn’t work, anyone else having this issue?

This morning I went to check my email on gmail, and google asked me to sign in again. Easy, I thought. I entered my account, and then google asked for my passkey. Until this morning this meant that on my mac it would ask me to place my finger on the right key on the keyboard. This morning it just froze firefox indefinitely. I then tried on Safari, and it worked as expected. I checked the version of firefox: it's 136.0.1. Obviously something changed (i.e. broke!) with the new version. Has anybody else experienced this? Any suggested fixes?

I recently refreshed Firefox. When I re-opened the program, I was logged out. I successfully logged back in, but despite saying I'm "synced", none of my settings (themes, passwords, bookmarks, etc.) are showing up, even after waiting 30 minutes. Typically sync has taken a few seconds for me. FYI, this is on my work computer and I don't have administrator access, so I would prefer a solution (if possible) that does not require an uninstallation or installation (which I cannot do without contacting an administrator). I have seriously messed up with firefox settings over the years in order to safeguard my privacy, against all the attempts by firefox to infringe it. (Admitteddly, not as much as google chrome, safari and, got forbid, m$ edge). One of these fixes was to link the file/database content-prefs.sqlite (found in my firefox profile dir) to /dev/null. It was this that caused a problem with the file browser not showing. WOW!

Once I deleted said file (linking to /dev/null). Firefox started and all was OK wrt the file brower.

That caused me to create a script to be run before and after firefox launch, searching for all these privacy-infringing databases in my profile dir and erasing them.

The steps to this are: 1) edit /usr/share/applications/org.mozilla.firefox.desktop and replace all Exec=firefox entries with Exec=/usr/local/bin/firefox-custom.sh 2) create a new file /usr/local/bin/firefox-custom.sh with this content

lanuching firefox now either from a desktop file (e.g. via Plank launcher) or from the command line: gio launch /usr/share/applications/org.mozilla.firefox.desktop runs the above script before and after firefox running.

Disclaimer: the above script erases files in your profile directory, use at your own risk. Perpahs make a backup copy of your profile dir before.

Ever since I updated Firefox to version 110, I’ve been experiencing consistent crashes when trying to visit certain websites, such asIrish Kilt Shop. The issue started immediately after the update, and I’ve tried restarting my computer, clearing the cache, and disabling extensions, but the problem persists. I’m running Windows 10 and have no issues with other browsers.

I'm using my MX master 3's sidescroll to control the volume. I recently switched to firefox, but I noticed that the volume function doesn't work when mozilla is the active app. I do not have mozilla specific settings and it works with other browsers. Any solutions?

I am unable to request support from Malwarebytes using Firefox in my Windows 10 computer, and so I have to switch to the Chrome browser instead. When I log into my Malwarebytes account and go to their web page at https://my.malwarebytes.com/overview and then click on "Contact Support", nothing happens. This problem does not happen in the Google Chrome browser. I tried clearing the cookies and cache, and that did not help. I have attached a screenshot of the Malwarebytes web page. What can I do to correct this problem? I will appreciate any response you can provide.

The other day, several of my extensions were automatically uninstalled from a bunch of my devices. After going through and reinstalling most of them, the reinstalled extensions don't seem to be propagating to other devices via sync. Newly installed extensions that I didn't have installed before seem to propagate fine. Is there some way I can fix the extension data on my account so that they start syncing properly again?
