How do I report the issue of being unable to remove a URL from autocomplete?

When I start typing the URL, it shows up like the following image with a globe icon and "Visit" text, but there is no "..." button to remove the suggestion like there is on other suggestions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/address-bar-autocomplete-firefox#w_url-autocomplete

This is really annoying because a site I visit a lot changed from .com to .org without redirecting the old to the new.

PLEASE HELP! I allowed Avast to do a "clean up" this week. That usually entailed a "scan" for viruses. NOT ANYMORE! My computer is really messed up! I just tried to delete Avast, and even though I hate to see ads, I think their Ad Blocker is messing up my PC. I just noticed that when I asked what I thought was FIREFOX a question, the answers were supplied by an entity called THLIOKNI. WTF is THAT?????? Seriously, what is happening to my relatively NEW PC--had to buy a new CPU in October of 2023. And I've always used Firefox. But WINDOWS 11 is the operating system on this PC, and it is NOT compatible with Firefox apparently! I'm an elderly woman and I cannot handle this stress! What I also noticed is that I read Substack writers and depend on them for accurate description of current political and social news, but now I can't access the "like" buttons on commentators. Is that a Substack issue (I don't think so!), or is it something to do with the Avast "clean up?" WHAT ON EARTH IS THLIOKNI and how the hell did that get on my computer? PLEASE ADVISE ASAP! Just recently I am no longer able to use Bing.com to search with. Being it is my preferred source of searching for me. Google is awful for my purposes.

I'm currently on Firefox Developer Edition version 136.0b6, and for some reason the search bar no longer displays the https:// header. Is it possible to turn this back on?

I can't use Google search, Java not running yet it was the other day, I have 'Open264' plug-in, in 'about-config' Javascript.enabled is set to 'true'- I tried toggle it and re-booted but still same.

Then, I tried in browser 'safe-mode', lo and behold that solved the problem.... why is this? What I didn't mention is before doing all this I tried Java script and that work OK.... but not Google search.

Since the last update, Firefox is not working properly. The search engine is completely dead, not working at all, and anything related to Google, like Gmail, never opens. I've tried several things, but nothing works.

I have been using Firefox and Duck duck go to search. This morning I could not search and duck duck and was requested to I download Duck duck go as browser. Now I can't search except in Google. Help. I plan on uninstalling the Duck duck go browser. What is a good private search engine?

Hello, I would like to add the Perplexity.ai search engine as my default search. Is there a way to do that? I don't see it listed on the search engine pull-down menu. Thanks.

Everytime i highlight a word and right click it to "search google for" it switches to that new tab. This only started happening for the past two weeks. I already changed browser.search.context.loadInBackground to true in the config.

Also noticed this does not happen in private mode, but it does happen in troubleshoot mode.

Is there any way to change that? Thanks

I used to be able to make my own settings in Bing, but since the last update my settings are no longer stored. Each time I change them, when I open a new tab the BIng defaults are used. How do I get Firefox to accept my Bing preferences?

Hello, I recently found Ecosia search to be force-installed in firefox, and after much digging I found this to be because of a new collab between them and mozilla. However, I HATE when things gets forced upon you, its the only reason I have stuck with firefox this long.

I cant seem to find a way to remove this search option from my providers list, please instruct me on how to do this, cause if I cant, I will unfortunately have to drop firefox as my browser.

My default search engine has always been Firefox for years. Since the last Firefox update, when I select + and get to a New Tab, the search engine changes to Google.

I am on Windows 10. I want the New Tab to stay with Firefox. Any tips?

For some reason the first item when I open my browser is google. I do not use google-I can search my browser's history and see I do not use google. How do I get it removed? There is no reason for it to pop-up in my browser at all but there is absolutely no reason for it to be the top item whenever I open my browser. Why is it even there? I always use DuckDuckGo to search.

Please help me remove google from my browser. I have attached a screenshot with my browser showing google as the first item when I open it. This is getting so frustrating when I try to avoid google like the plague...the plague it is.

I have disabled all the other search settings in order to get rid of this field years ago. Now, suddenly it starts to show up again. I go to the settings, somehow it has all renabled itself, so I disable it. And yet, it STILL shows up with no content in it. How do I remove this?

My search engine has stopped working. I just get blank pages when I enter any subject in the search bar. I am forced to open a private window which always works without issues. Closely related to this problem I believe, is the fact that any online forms I try to complete and submit will not submit. Again if I copy and paste the address into a private window, I can complete and submit without any issues.

It is getting very frustrating to keep having to go private windows.

When I open a new tab, it opens fine, I get all the articles as per normal. But when I enter my search criteria I get nothing (see attached screenshots)
