Why, for some reason, has Mozilla recently started treating incognito tabs as the default search engine? When I closed the main browser, left the incognito window open, and restarted it, all my open and grouped tabs (over 300) were deleted, and when I closed the incognito window, it asked me if I wanted to close all tabs as if I had any way to reopen them. This is the first time I’ve encountered this, because it wasn’t like that before. Why does Incognito behave like a regular tab, and why does this affect the main tabs, which aren’t and shouldn’t be linked to Incognito?

I have recently discovered that Firefox is constantly sending data at around 3KBytes/S to a variety of Cloudflare servers.

What is the data that is being sent and why is this happening?

This has started to occur in one of the last updates to Firefox.

I just received this on my iMac: “You have an unsent crash report related to crashes being investigated, etc.” Following this, I ended up with page after page of information and options. This is dense and confusing and many options seem like they're asking me to provide information or choose certain things that may create serious and damaging situations. I don't like it and I don't even know if it's legitimate. You have no phone support. With all this confusion I am considering moving on to another browser. When I use my bank's desktop website, I can use all services on the site except when I request a Proof of Payment. I can do it using Edge. How to fix in Firefox?

I have also entered the bank's websites (http version and https version) on the allowed websites section in Firefox settings. What else must I turn on or off?

Before thinking about "Free" VPN I need to know whether it's really free or whether I'll hit a limit and be squeezed for subscription money. How can I tell how many GB per month I regularly use?
