Heard this new guy thinks AI slop is the way to go: I dropped google and chrome because of this YEARS ago, even before the obscene direction 2025 has brought. AI has been nothing but a violation against my privacy and consent, theiving not just personal information but artistic merit and PROGRAMMING ITSELF??? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???

monitoring bloatware is infesting my tech. I've spent hours fighting against it for my elderly mother because she doesn't know better. I'm installing Mint because Windows 11 is USELESS.

Why, for some reason, has Mozilla recently started treating incognito tabs as the default search engine? When I closed the main browser, left the incognito window open, and restarted it, all my open and grouped tabs (over 300) were deleted, and when I closed the incognito window, it asked me if I wanted to close all tabs as if I had any way to reopen them. This is the first time I’ve encountered this, because it wasn’t like that before. Why does Incognito behave like a regular tab, and why does this affect the main tabs, which aren’t and shouldn’t be linked to Incognito?

I just received this on my iMac: “You have an unsent crash report related to crashes being investigated, etc.” Following this, I ended up with page after page of information and options. This is dense and confusing and many options seem like they're asking me to provide information or choose certain things that may create serious and damaging situations. I don't like it and I don't even know if it's legitimate. You have no phone support. With all this confusion I am considering moving on to another browser. I am building a browser automation tool using Firefox Developer Edition. Recently, I started running into an issue where an "Agree to Terms" (or Privacy/Welcome) popup appears when the browser launches.

Because this is an automated environment, this popup blocks my scripts from running properly because human interaction is required to click past it.

My Setup:

Browser: Firefox Developer Edition (latest version)

Use case: Automated testing/scripting

What I am trying to achieve: I need to know how to stop this popup from appearing entirely, or how to automatically agree to it. Are there specific command-line flags (similar to Chrome's startup flags) or about:config profile preferences I can inject when launching the browser to bypass this?

Before thinking about "Free" VPN I need to know whether it's really free or whether I'll hit a limit and be squeezed for subscription money. How can I tell how many GB per month I regularly use?

The five Firefox relay have not been used by me; can I create new ones. I don't use shopify or pinterest. It looks like they were set up in 2024. Can I receive 5 more to clean these out. Thanks.

I just want to say that if Firefox goes through with this AI bs, I will promptly be finding a new browser. The whole point of me using Firefox is it is the best browser for privacy, which I care about greatly. AI integration and personal privacy are mutually exclusive; they can't exist without each other. So do not become an "AI browser," or whatever the CEO called it. It is only going to kill a great product that is basically the only thing stopping google from having a web browser monopoly.

I am looking for confirmation that Mozilla is moving to an 'AI browser'.

Will there be an option to not use this data harvesting LLM garbage or will mozilla be abandoning their core values?

Hi I just found VPN button in my browser turned it on and it works perfectly. i was very suprised because i am from russia and this vpn somehow can avoid DPI (deep packet inspection) that every isp has here in russia. suggestion - please add cryptocurrency as an additional payment method because we dont have visa or mastercard here since 2022. thank you
