Hi, I am seeking a job and had a number of important tabs open when I had to restart my browser. Unfortunately, it was set to clear history on restart. Is there any way, on a windows10 pc, to recover them? Are they stored anywhere?

As you all might know, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 have reached their End Of Life, and are no longer supported. I have looked inside the latest firefox (77.0.1 (64-bit)) configuration, and found the following configuration set by default (included in the first image).

Site keeps detecting ad blocker after all blocker extensions removed and Enhanced Protection turned off

I am using Firefox 81.0.

Specifically, I am trying to "Enable earning" on the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards shopping site -- https://rapidrewardsshopping.southwest.com/. I have uninstalled all ad blockers and trackers (AdBlocker Plus, Ghostery, Duck Duck Go, etc.) and turned off Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site. And still I get this warning at the top of the page:

"AdBlock, uBlock, AdBlockPlus or another ad blocker or Firefox Tracking Protection may be preventing you from earning points on your shopping. "

Does anyone know what is going on?

I am running Kaspersky Total Security. Could that be the culprit? What troubleshooting can I do to find the root cause of the Southwest site detecting an "ad blocker of Firefox Tracking Protection"?

Recently, I changed my email address in firefox. I deleted the secondary (old) email address from firefox. When I send an email through firefox, it still uses the old email address as my return address. Firefox will not even let me change the email address within the email itself. How do I fix this? This morning I only see a white screen logging into FB on my Windows 10 desktop. All other sites seem to be working. I can log into FB on my phone and using Edge (not my default browser). I have deleted cookies and history and tried to "refresh" Firefox without success. I do not use FB container. Please help.

Some time a go I've configured access to the smart card in the Spanish id card in Firefox, and it work. But I'm recently trying to use again and it doesn't.

I'm in a Debian 10 with the libpkcs11-dnie installed (with its dependencies) and I've set it up in a firefox-beta. Is where I've added months a go the module (/usr/lib/libpkcs11-dnie.so), then I had logged in and saw the certificate in "Your Certificates".

Since then many updates came but I didn't need again to use this card. I'm trying it now that firefox-beta is 82.0 and the "log in" button is never enabled.

When I've tried with another firefox, for example the esr (78.3.0esr) coming with debian, I have to add this module as it wasn't there. I've clicked "Load" and fill the form with "module name" and "module filename" (the same file that I've mention before) and when I click 'ok', I receive an alert "Unable to add module". Same experience with firefox-stable (81.0.2) and with firefox-devel (82.0b9).

I don't even know if the issue comes from firefox. Is there a way to debug further the origin of this alert message or why this is not being recognized by the application?

I like to delete all cookies when I close Firefox and have it set accordingly under Cookies and Site Data to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed". Under Manage Exceptions, I have added the half a dozen websites that I am happy to Allow cookies. However, when I re-open Firefox, not only does it require me to go through the "accept cookies" process (ie it has deleted all the cookies including my exceptions), but the exceptions that I'd listed have all disappeared. So why isn't the Manage Exceptions not working correctly, please? Any solutions much appreciated. Thanks

Running: WIN 10 PRO FIREFOX 81.0.2 (64-BIT) THUNDERBIRD 68.121 (32-BIT) NORTON SECURITY 22.20.5.39 Xfinity ISP

Ran Thunderbird for years without a problem until 2 days ago, I cannot send or receive email using Thunderbird from my pc or other devices. When attempting to get new mail, receive following: “Alert from account [email@comcast.net temporarily blacklisted IP Address”. Also receive following error message “Login to server imap.comcast.net with username [email]@comcast.net failed” Attached is screenshot showing both alert and error messages. I attempted several times “Retry” and re-entering password. All attempts failed! I can log on to Xfinity.NET on the internet via Firefox, retrieve, read and send mail from Xfinity.net website. I cannot do the same using Thunderbird. Attempted fixes to include: disconnect of Norton anti-virus/firewall, reset password on Xfinity, reset WINS to an earlier date, use a different modem, changed passwords, all failed to fix problem. I am not a technical savvy individual and really need help in solving this problem, can someone help me: • Who has “blacklisted” my email? Comcast, Firefox, Thunderbird, Norton, WIN 10? • What has caused this to happen? • What do I need to do rectify the problem and get Thunderbird working again? Greatly appreciate any assistance you can give me.

I have researched this site and elsewhere, and tried everything I can. Is there a way, in firefox 81.0.2 (latest as of this post according to mozilla) to remove amazon and google from the "top sites" suggestions. For every other website, firefox lets you remove them from the list easily, but not with amazon or google. Ive removed it, deleted all history, clicked the dismiss button, the remove button, nothing, its still there. To prove that its an advertisement by firefox, even when I tried editing the link, firefox simply re-added the original one for me (how convenient!). Ive been with firefox almost 2 decades now, but if they are going to force advertising like this than obviously I need to look into other options.
