All of a sudden, I get a "Not enough room to save" error message when I try to download a fill. There is plenty of room on my disk.

Also, it's not giving me the option of just opening the file.

I've been needing to use Edge to download files.

The UI font on Firefox UI appears to be corrupted. See screenshots attached.

The app was installed recently and not used much. When I launched it today the font appears like this. No other apps are affected.

I only have a handful of custom fonts and none overwrite any system fonts.

Hi, I have 32 gb of memory in my system and I'm having an issue where firefox is taking up most of it but only reporting 1 or 2 gb in task manager. Im using the windows powershell command Get-Process | Sort-Object -Descending WS | select -first 1 | select -ExpandProperty ProcessName to find whats using the most memory and its listing firefox, heres a screenshot showing the issue.

Hi My normally excellent Firefox on Windows 10 has suddenly become unworkable,with the "Gah Tab Crash" message now coming up almost constantly. I have tried opening the browser in safe mode but to no avail. Any suggestions to travellinbilly@gmail.com. Fingers crossed.

There is a similar (but not identical) topic on Mozilla Connect , and I posted there. But I did not get a response. So I am re-posting on this new topic on Mozilla Support. I have a similar problem to what was discussed on Connect. I am using Firefox 133.0.3 on Windows 10 Professional. After Firefox has been running for a while, I get a message from Windows 10 that the free space on my C:drive is low. I did a directory listing on my C-drive before and after Exiting Firefox; I saw no large files disappearing. Then I decided to do "dir c:\ /ah" to see hidden files. What I saw was that pagefile.sys decreased in size from 29,925,748,736 to 16,270,770,176. This was a decrease of 13.7 Gb. Is this normal? I have lots of windows and tabs open in Firefox. Thanks.

Hi, I'm using FF for year for development and had several problems with cached data in this time. Now, since the last update (automatic update yesterday), Firefox is caching my js for localhost and ignores nearly everything to stop it.

F5 and Ctrl+F5: no effect Enabling "Disable cache" in devtools: no effect changed about:config (no effect): browser.cache.disk.capacity 0 browser.cache.disk.enable false browser.cache.memory.enable false devtools.cache.disabled true

Only going to settings > privacy + security > Clear Data helps. But as you can imagine, that's really bad DX

I tried a FF-addon for clearing css cache, but it's outdated and doesn't work.

Is there anything I can do, to disable cache for localhost?

I don't understand why this aggressive caching problem is ignored for years and gets worse every year! Why are settings like "Disable cache" in devtools so broken? I tested other browsers and have not found the same issues. I don't want to switch browsers! I just want a cache free localhost! FF can cache the sh*t out of every webpage. But please leave localhost out of it!

Firefox (on one of my Windows computers) has begun hanging up during loading of video articles (such as news services, CNN, CBC, etc.). If I refresh page the video article will occasionally load. Often not. Have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled. Did not help. Have another Windows laptop and there is no problem loading video content on that device. In addition occasionally Firefox will hang up just loading an assortment of websites, though this does not occur with the regularity of the non-load of individual video news articles. Thank you for any advice or suggestions.

I have used firefox on my Windows PC for many years, but there's something going on that's driving me nuts. I use the browser for email (gmail) and various web apps, youtube mostly. Over the past few months, it's been slowing down whenever I have it open for more than a few hours. It's to the point where it takes 5-10 seconds for a "compose email" command to respond. Clicking between tabs takes a few seconds. The longer it's open, the slower it goes. I did some testing and this doesn't happen with chrome. I don't want to use chrome. I want to use firefox. Can anyone give me advice on how to fix this? I've tried clearing my cache, but it doesn't help. I'd rather not clear my full history because I don't want to have to sign in to various sites multiple times. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Since updating to the above OS on my Macbook Pro I have not been able to use any screen share functions (e.g. Adobe, MS PowerPoint etc) while using Firefox - all of which worked fine before. I've tried all kinds of suggestions including from this forum but nothing has worked. The site I use most is Konfidens. The only option that comes up when clicking on Share Screen is Use Operating System Settings (see attached screenshot). When you click on it the only option is "share entire screen" which isn't what I need or want. The Konfidens tech support team is looking into this but given the screen share option works fine on Chrome, the problem is evidently with Firefox. I want to stick to Firefox for security reasons but if I cannot resolve this, I will have no option but to move across to another browser. Many thanks in anticipation!

Hi: Recently Firefox, latest release now, won't show the Taskbar when the cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen. I have no addons or themes installed, ie, plain vanilla Firefox. If I start Firefox in troubleshoot mode it works properly. Any help please? Thanks Donald

I have firefox installed using google search. After the latest update searching is extremely slow. This is a windows 11 machine. I have cleared cache, cleared browsing history, turned off add blocked and some extensions and add ons. Response time on opening search results is extremely slow. Other search engines respond immediately.

So i am using ReseourceOverride AddOn to debug a js library on standard install of firefox. This works by using the site as normal but resource override has instruction to replace request for the library on server with one requesting it from localhost. This used to work without problems. However today i noticed that breakpoints aren't getting hit. I have downgraded to version 132.0.2 and breakpoints work once again. I think this has something to do with debug sources, since the load process adds 2 sources, webpack containing uncompiled code and where i set break points, and webpack-internal which i think is built js library before getting minified. Links to exceptions in console also dont work instead of linking to webpack seemlesly, the adress says webpack-internal and link open a new window and complains that the adress is nonsense (see attached images)
