Internet connection is there and good (now that I have a new router). But have to restart the computer in order to sign-on. I am told my Time Warner that this is a Firefox issue.

Emails arrive from "accounts@firefox.com" asking "Are you sure?". I haven't requested a password change. This arrived twice last night. Am I being hacked? Is this phishing?

Firefox Password Update box is preventing me from logging into applications and programs, when I need to enter a NEW password, different from the one saved on Firefox already. The Firefox Password popup immediately stops me from entering the program. After I click on "update now" or "not now," Firefox box closes. BUT, the program password I entered (e.g. for Google, Twitter, etc) always defaults BACK to previous one saved on Firefox saved password, so it won't let me update to the NEW password. How can I stop it from reverting back to the OLD saved password, which is now invalid?

We have discovered an odd issue with Mozilla (several current versions tested) and one of our websites. There is a two stage login - username & password followed by eg mothers maiden name on subsequent page

When a new instance of firefox is opened then on completing the login answers the user is immediately returned back to the login page with a 'your session has timed out' message - basically our software returns our timeout page. If, on the same page you then login again everything is fine. If you close your window and open a new one then the problem occurs again. This is not cache related as I have done a lot of testing which almost certainly eliminates that.

Could anybody please offer further ideas? The site is https I have after googling tried a couple of random things like adding the site to exceptions list but no change. I have used developer console to follow the network calls and without a massive analysis, things seem to be correct.

I have tested in safe mode also so it is not related to extensions or add ins

Cannot sign in to Mozilla Support although I could sign in to sync previously TODAY. From sync I could not sign in to any other Mozilla site, including this one. When I tried to hit link " I have this problem too" page greyed out and small box in center said "you have an error" or similar wording. Somehow this site allowed me to enter by creating a new username and new Mozilla Support account. It is unknown if this context window report will survive or if anyone will be able to contact my email. Using same email account and password to sign up, yet new username. A message keeps appearing at the lower part of screen informing me that my user email or password is not correct; although when I hit on the button to enter these fields it allows me into my FF sync account. But no other accounts are accessed by my sync account contrary to info on various Mozilla pages that ( I could not send message questions on them or sign in) I landed in while searching for answers. I hope you can follow what I am saying and help me. (1) cannot sign in to any Mozilla sites except sync. Even that is only accessed by hitting a "preferences" button at the end of the reoccurring error message that pops up several times a day on bottom of page. (2) how do I stop the reoccuring error pop up at page bottom informing me that sync has encountered error in my email or password and cannot sign in (by itself) to sync when I do nothing to cause the pop up, it just keeps showing up randomly.

   please help me, these things are major bugs in FF and Mozilla sign in on all help forums. If this gets thru it will be the exception.

I lost Firefox when I deleted something on the bar and need to reinstall. Someone else had installed Firefox for me and he doesn't remember any information he used. Basically I need to start over, I guess. I'm 75 years old and not computer smart!!

I cleared all my history from Firefox and now I cant log back on. There is no contact number or email address to contact. I am just sent round & round in circles.

I'm a web designer and I'm having an issue were a user who is already logged in arrives on a page which allows them to update information on their account as well as update their password with a set of Current password, New password, re-enter password fields. I'm seeing that in firefox for users with password manager information saved, the first password field filled is being auto-completed by Firefox password manager and the entry field above the password reset section is populated by the username, despite the fact this field is not for a username.

I will note that this issue only occurs when the input field directly above the password field is intentionally blank (value="").

Is there any thing I can do without altering the layout of the page so that Firefox password manager will not incorrectly insert data into this field?

I haven't been able to login to my PayPal account for a week now despite using correct email address and and password. I cleared my cache and cookies from my Firefox 45.0 browser as suggested on this site http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Cookies-and-Cache-in-Firefox

But after doing that I still can't login to my PayPal account.

Hey guys, I am having quite a problem. I set up my account and didn't get the confirmation email. I tried having it resent and I tried doing a password reset. I didn't get either of those emails either. I added the domain to my safe mailers list and have checked in my junk mail folder and it is still not there. It is a hotmail account if that is relevant. Please help me out...

The church secretary created a website thru FireFTP. The password she left is not correct. The webpage has not been updated since 2014. We would like to update it with current information.

I use Password Manager, password protected. I've never come up against this situation before.

Firefox remembers and autofills my username and password for a particular site. I wanted to open the same site on Safari - so I went into my Security preferences to dig out the password. It's not there. It's as though it's a username/password combo the system has never had in its memory -- but it works when I need it to!

I'm very used to getting passwords from the manager, and trying to figure out why this one isn't recoverable with the usual steps.

How is this happening? And is there another way to recover that password short of resetting it?

My network is using proxy to get connected to internet. User authenticate to proxy using username and password from Active Directory. I am unable to authenticate to proxy, it keep asking password even I have supplied the correct password. I tested the condition using other browser and it works with Chromium. How should I connect to the proxy ?

Hi WHY at the new versions of firefox like 61.0.2 I CAN'T BACKUP MY PASSWORD OR MY PROFILE as i can do it at older versions with these addons?

Using Ubunto 18.04 and Firefox, passwords can not be entered on some web pages. This seemed to start after an update last week. My setting are as listed on the previous suggestions on various forums. Clearing the cache and cookies has no impact.
