Hi!

I've been browsing the web looking for a way to access the browser's current profile name programmatically. I'm writing a little browser extension that should run code conditionally depending on what the current profile is. I'm wondering if there's any way to do this? The closest thing I found was runtime.getBrowserInfo() runtime.getBrowserInfo().

Lately I have been having trouble signing into websites, including the website I administer. When trying to put in my user name or password, I get a message saying: Something's gone wrong. Please try again later." I do try later, and the same thing happens. However, I have no trouble signing into these sites on Opera.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

google apps block pops up in upper right corner of gmail each time I change focus without selecting it

I have cleared cache and history. Still pops up. This happened after the last update to Firefox.

Firefox is adding empty lines to the css file in web developer like so:

1. videoFiles {

 left: 0;
 z-index: 3;
 width: 250px;
 height: 40px;
 opacity: 0;
 cursor: pointer;

}

1. image_files {

 height: 40px;
 width: 250px;
 z-index: 3;
 opacity: 0;
 cursor: pointer;

}

.previewVid {

 width: 50%;
 padding: 10px;

}

Those empty lines are not in the css file and so it is reporting the wrong line numbers. So hard to find the correct line in the actual file.

I want to link my Firefox Account between my iPhone X Device and my Dell Laptop. I need to know how to do that in detail.

Note: I tried opening the menu and clicking sync and save, but I couldn’t see it on the menu, the same thing happened when I looked, as advised, when looking for Ready to scan; I couldn’t see it on the menu !

Kindly explain what should I do in clear step by step detail, as pertaining to these two devices which I am trying to link.

I accidentally closed Firefox with about 100 tabs open (doing research). I still had one ff window open with only one tab and I went to History (there is no session restore on my firefox-been thru that before) and selected restore recent tabs. That only opened about 10 tabs . BUT, now that becomes my " previous session" so how do I get my earlier session back. If I close FF and then open, all I get is that window with 10 useless tabs. This has happened before so I have FF set as default, and "open to previous window/tabs is selected". So how do I get my previous session open?

Browser is not letting me choose the airports on Breeze Airways. No issues with using Safari. Also, American Airlines is sometimes spotty using FF, not loading the main page.

Accidentally deleted a file downloaded to the Downloads folder when I intended to hit the Clear Downloads. If not recoverable, suggest moving the Delete away from Clear Downloads or require a confirmation before deleting.

All of a sudden when I open Firefox a dialogue box from Software Update appears and asks for permission to make changes to my computer-- never happened before. My preferences are set to automatically update and my app list says I have the latest version of Firefox (129.0.1). I've checked Firefox properties and there is nothing selected under compatibility mode (I read on the forum this could cause the pop up). I can’t figure out what changes Firefox’s Software Update wants to make if I already have the latest version (so I always say no). The Firefox update to 129.0.1 was 8/14 but this dialogue box only appeared a few days ago. Is Firefox just not working because it’s not getting the automatic update message sent to maintenance? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the maintenance program? And if so, how do I do that? (Windows 10)

For the last 2 weeks Mozilla has asked to update every day. Very short updates. Now I'm concerned if they are real. I can't find any sort of "update schedule" and understand it varies depending on use. I use firefox every day and every day there is an update. What's going on?

I'm trying to save a username and password. This particular URL of the login screen ends with

.com/onlineportal/Customer-Login

After I save the credentials, Firefox drops everything after .com (a 403 Forbidden URL without the page path) and saves the credentials simply associated with the .com without the page path. The page path is required for login.

Chome saves this correctly, and I hate using chrome, but may have no choice if I can't resolve this.

I cannot log into spectrum email for the last 2 weeks and I can log in to my email with edge. need help to see why I cant log in to spectrum email using firefox and duck duck go? using my lap top.
