I do not know what to do how to even report this properly.

Within a month, this is the 3rd time a saved login/password combo has just disappeared from firefox.

It's a tad alarming to say the least.

And no, I have not deleted them, they are just ... gone.

There are thousands of answers to this question but I can't find one that works for me. I am using a tablet computer without a mouse or keyboard so mouse click solutions and keyboard short cut solutions don't work.

I want to just tap on a link with my finger and have it open in a new window. Every time. I know I can hold on the link and get a list of options including "open in a new window" but I want to eliminate that step because my fat fingers sometimes select the wrong list item.

Any help?

while I using bing I will receive a Microsoft Points. But after updating Firefox to 120.0, I didn't get any. Somebody know how? I'm sharing you all of my extensions, and others. If someone know how I can again get points please help me.

I was required to make a quick computer switch. I cannot access my old computer. When I opened Firefox on the new one it was without my bookmarks, saved passwords etc. I really need those passwords. And I don't like an orphaned window for Firefox floating around with my info. At best, how do I get it on my new computer. At worst, how does the info get deleted so that it is not available online to anyone?

When I use the Firefox browser and attempt to open my Evernote, after I enter the password, it will not open on my desktop. I nearly always use Firefox (and prefer it); however, I can easily open Evernote if I use Chrome. How do I correct this problem? Thanks, Jan

Hello, from Terminal Servers, it is not possible to browse the Internet via FortiGate's explicit proxy from the Firefox browser, while there is no problem with Chrome or Edge. When the user tries to browse external sites, the proxy sends the error page "You need to authenticate to use this service". It seems that Firefox does not pass user authentication to FortiGate. The proxy authenticates users per session via Kerberos tickets.

Firefox version: 115.5.0esr

I also performed the following settings to pass the Kerberos ticket to the proxy without success: https://people.redhat.com/mikeb/negotiate/

I also noticed that it is not possible to change the "network.negotiate-auth.allow-proxies" setting from "false" to "true." Is this my problem? Is it normal that it cannot be changed?

I lost all my bookmarks because I forgot my Firefox account password and didn't realize they were in the cloud (I thought they were stored locally). I don't have any bookmarks backups, but I did recently back up my Macbook via Time Machine. Would Time Machine be able to recover my previous bookmarks? If so, how?

I want to run some automation tests with the firefox browser. With this, I want to get the logs which is normally shown on the console to be redirected to a separate file. How can I do this in firefox? Google chrome has a similar functionality when you open chrome with "--enable-logging --v=1" parameters.

I have uninstalled Firefox and ensured that there are no process still running. When I try to reinstall I get the message "Firefox is already running, but it is not responding..... "

Good afternoon, Yesterday, november 22nd 2023 i was watching TV via my firefox browser at the computer and whenever i saw something i wanted to screengrab i would press print screen and then paste the image into Photoshop for further editing, but all i get now is a big black screen, not the image i had screengrabbed, this used to happen in chrome and that is the reason why i switched to firefox, because this feature still worked in firefox, but today after the update to version 120.0(64-bit) this function now also returns a black screen when pasting into photoshop. Is there a way i can use this feature again? or is this feature gone forever? This was all working okay until this update

Opening browser with google.com as part of my home page 'group' or open a new tab no longer signs me into google. It use to. I have already cleared my cookies and cache (pain having to log back into my usual sites). It worked for a day, but zip now. Getting ready to leave my favorite browser since the SeaMonkey days!!

Facebook requires me to have to update Firefox even though I have the latest version! Could it be because my computer only has Windows 7? Can't find no free upgrade to 10 anymore ... buy without money will not go! I really need help!

again after upgrade this time version 119.0.1 to version 120.0 the behaviour changed to store downloads. This time I directly modified the settings of applications, their type and which action I expect. Again problems and files are stored elsewhere. Once again modifications and it seems to be fixed.

It seems that this part of Firefox is modified too but I'm not sure. One download is still running and the file and the temporary part exists but not in the specified base directory. The other ones are working as result of my second approach.

Any other experience concerning download and where to store?

Windows 10 volume slider stops working after every firefox update. Have to restart windows 10 explorer to make it work after every login. It will start working again on it's own after the next windows update until I click on the firefox update again.
