Is there some way to recommend an extension that's available in the Chrome Web Store but not available for Firefox? It's the only one I've found anywhere that does this, particular job.

Beanote will allow a sticky note to be made *anywhere* on a web page -- not in a sidebar -- and it will stay right where you want it. Or you can move it. Also, if there are tabs within a portion of that webpage, it will bleed through transparently to all of them. If you want to add it to another of these tabs, you just click on it and you can move it anywhere you'd like; again, it will stay there.

My FF updated to 110.0.1 (64-bit) on Ubuntu and several things which use to work really well are now broken.

For example, when making a new account, the password manager pops up asking if you want to save the username/password, but if you mouse over to that popup then as soon as you enter it it just disappears. When logging in somewhere, if there are multiple choices for userid (say with different dates) none can be chosen. You mouse down to the popup with the choices and there's a weird stroboscopic action where the popup disappears and is recreated as fast as it can, over and over, and nothing can actually be clicked on. If you type in the userid then try to enter the password the same thing happens. It's not possible to use the password manager anymore, both fields need to be typed in manually.

Another example is the search field. If you type something and there are several options from previous searches, and you try to mouse down to pick one, the popup disappears. If you click the search keyword again it highlights as for replacement, then you have to click it again (removing highlight) and only then can you mouse down and choose a search engine.

etc etc etc! All this stuff worked great until the upgrade happened (in the background) and now many things are a huge pain in the ass. Arrgh!

% uname -a Linux spunky 5.4.0-144-generic #161~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Feb 10 15:55:22 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I tried disabling all add-ons then restarted but made no difference. Password manager is unusable.

My email screen has gone to a larger page that will not fit on the computer screen, whether in full screen or partial, the inbox is pushed off the left side, and the email previews are so large they extend half the way across from the right side. Previously most of the center was for email lists, but now it is just a small part that will only show two or three emails. How can I change it back the the old format?

Hey team! After my organization restricted GitHub access to a specific IP ranges (from inside company VPN) I cannot access GitHub Organization repositories through Firefox Developer Edition, though VPN works and I am signed in. I can see the following error: `Access forbidden from this IP address` together with incorrect IP address displayed.

Also worth mentioning that through Google Chrome I can access my company GitHub pages perfectly.

Can you please help?

Since recent Firefox update, Yahoo mail won't let me send messages, reply, delete, or move mail to another folder. I can't mark the mail as important, or close an email I've opened by x-ing out of it. I can only open an email and can get back to my email folder by clicking on the folder. Pretty much unusable. In safe mode it has the same problem. I tested my Yahoo mail using Chrome and it works the way it's supposed to, but I much prefer Firefox. Thank you.

How do I actually get help with my account? I cannot access it because the account has the WRONG EMAIL address mixed up with the WRONG PASSWORDS. The account MESS is preventing me from using SYNC creating my emails USELESS!!! There must be someone, somewhere, who can tell me how to get specific help with MY FIREFOX ACCOUNT. It is messed up so badly I am going have to throw this computer out and start all over -- but then I have to use either some bogus email address that I DO NOT WANT TO USE. My accounts were set up decades ago -- very soon after FIREFOX was offered. BUT JUST BECAUSE WE ARE OLD, ACCOUNTS ARE OLD, WHY does Firefox IGNORE problems with BASIC ACCOUNT PROBLEMS! I HATE THIS I HATE THIS I HATE THIS I HATE THIS! FIREFOX SUCKS!!!!!!! no such thing as support. When I attempted to ask "How to contact Firefox ACCOUNT HELP", the stupid answer was older than my car, my house, but I am older than dirt so it was NOT that old. STUPID STUPID STUPID. I will get rid of ALL GOOGLE, MOZILLA, AND NORTON cause you all have NO RESPECT for your users -- not customers cause we are NOT CONSIDERED SUCH -- FIREFOX IS FREE. Hahaha Dr T. H. REESE, Denver CO 15 yrs as a COMPUTER SYSTEMS CONSULTANT and I must make amends to all MY CLIENTS to whom I recommended FIREFOX! I have two homes in different states. Both have Mac computers. I would like to have both Firefox and Thunderbird be the same on both with the same files and same bookmarks, passwords etc.

I now go into the Library and copy files to a thumb drive when I am at home, and bring the thumb to my cabin. My problem is that I do not know which specific files to copy and bring and replace.

Can someone please inform me which files to copy for a seamless transition between both machines?

Thank you.

On Mac OS 13.2.1, if I make a window full screen in one display (my Macbook screen for instance), all other Firefox windows have a grey-ed out yellow button for minimizing and I can't use the shortcut CMD+M as normal. This does not happen if I use full screen windows in multiple "desktops" on one display, but as soon as I split Firefox across two displays and full screen at least one window, all the others can no longer be minimized.

Unlike some older issues, I can still see the close, minimize, and maximize buttons but the middle minimize button is disabled as if every window were set to full screen mode.
