Client type : desktop Firefox Developer Edition Client version : 117.0b9 (64bits) Client language : Korean OS type : Windows 10 Home 22H2 OS version : 19045.3208

Steps to reproduce : 1. Run Firefox Developer Editon. 2. Try searching using the navigation bar on the home screen. 3. Enjoy that nothing happens.

Expected Result : Happy life at Firefox

Actual Result: Tedious LOADING

I've been using Firefox Developer Edition for the past two years without problems. From some point on(about 1 week ago), All browser's search functions suddenly don't work. Navigation bar? Not work. Searchig from Bookmark? Not work. Do not use google? Not work even with duckduckgo. with out DNS? Not work even with 142.250.206.206. There is only one website that i can access with Firefox Developer Edition. It is Mozilla's official website At this moments, I curious that "why isnt work>?" So i used Developer tools, And then I found something amazing. There was no request or response on the Network tab! (Of course, I pressed Ctrl + R) And then, on second thought, I found that the JS function that should have been small in the lower left of the browser screen was not displayed. Finally, I thought, hmm... My Firefox is broken! So i found the FireFox, and then i uninstall it, and reinstall it! All the External Plugin works, OK then What if FireFox????? Unfortunately, Firefox Developer Edition's problem remained the same. I'm sorry that i couldn't even give you a possible cause of the problem. But i SUFFER for a week! Please resolve the issue.....

In this website, written in markdown if I'm getting this right, the equations are not displaying in my browser.

My browser is displaying corretly all the examples in the other questions on math rendering, and also in similar books (here, here).

I've deleted cookies and cache, disabled extentions/adblocker, tried safe mode, without any change.

I have the same problem with all Edge and Chrome too and even on another computer. I thought the problem was in the website but the equations are rendering fine when I test them on https://www.browserling.com/.

Thanks in advance for any help :D

Playing media volume is low. In-page volume is maxed (eg. YouTube video controls). OS Master volume is maxed.

But the volume of the Firefox in Windows Volume Mixer is a fragment of the volume set. If I adjust it to max, it jumps to a fragment of it. If I adjust it to lower, it gets even lower, like a percentage of what I actually set. The level I actually set gets a grayed out slider button, and the actual slider button slides to this lower level. See the screenshot in the attachment.

It may sound like an OS issue, but as I understand, this is the output level set by the application (Firefox, in this case). Rebooting the OS doesn't help.

I am only shown the choice to open the current page into one of the default containers. If I open a new empty tab, this icon doesnt show up in the url bar.

I have gone through the manage extensions options as well and I cant find a similar option. Can anybody point out what I am missing?

Sorry, I know this is off topic, but I can't find how to edit a post after I posted it.

The usual way is you click on the three dots (upper right) and you get an EDIT option. All they do here is offer an option to QUOTE the post.

Also - while I have you: Posting links: I posted a couple LOCAL LINKS as I have a couple of threads and they appeared but when you clicked on them `404 - not found`.

The other week I had to edit a PDF file for my school, it was going well but when I sent it i got a call saying the blanks on the pdf file was empty even though when I opened the file on firefox they were there. I checked gmail and i saw that the edits i made, especially the text was gone, just a few remained for some reason. Today I edited another pdf file and when I opened it on chrome to see if the problem was still there, it was. More than half of the edits i made on the file were gone. I don't understand why only some parts stay but the rest disappears, is there a way to fix this?

This phrase is a mashup of the words “copy,” “paste,” and “pasta” in the English language.

Although it holds some attributes to spam in the manner that they are both inadvertent and are commonly found to be annoying, copypasta is primarily distributed through human providers, whereas spam is generated automatically by electronic messaging systems. Copypastas are often considered to be more of a nuisance.

It is not known when the phrase “copypasta” first appeared; however, some people claim to have seen it on picture boards on Usenet and 4chan around the year 2006. On April 20th, 2006, Urban Dictionary published the oldest use of the word that was currently accessible.

Is Dumpster Diving Illegal in Alabama? Exploring the Legalities and Sustainability

Dumpster diving, often referred to as "urban scavenging" or "freeganism," is a practice where individuals salvage discarded items from dumpsters or trash bins with the intention of reusing or repurposing them. While it's considered an environmentally friendly approach to reduce waste and promote sustainability, the legalities of dumpster diving vary across different states in the United States. In Alabama, like many other states, the legality of this practice is subject to specific conditions and local ordinances.

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Alabama does not have a statewide law that explicitly prohibits dumpster diving. However, the legality can be influenced by a combination of factors including local regulations, property rights, trespassing laws, and intent.

The legality of dumpster diving often hinges on the concept of "abandoned property." Once an item is placed in a publicly accessible dumpster, it might be legally considered abandoned and therefore available for anyone to take. However, this interpretation can differ based on the property owner's intent and local laws. Some businesses may choose to lock their dumpsters or clearly mark them as private property to discourage or prevent individuals from diving into them.

Trespassing laws also come into play. If a dumpster is located on private property and the diver needs to trespass in order to access it, they could potentially be violating the law. Intent matters here as well; if a person enters the property without permission and with the intent to steal or commit other illegal activities, they could face legal consequences.

It's important to emphasize that while dumpster diving might not be explicitly illegal in Alabama, divers should exercise caution and respect property boundaries. Always seek permission if a dumpster is located on private property, and avoid making a mess or causing damage.

From a sustainability standpoint, dumpster diving contributes to reducing waste by rescuing items that would otherwise end up in landfills. This practice aligns with the growing awareness of the importance of recycling, repurposing, and minimizing our environmental footprint.

In conclusion, the legality of dumpster diving in Alabama is nuanced and can be influenced by local regulations, property ownership, and intent. While there might not be a statewide law against dumpster diving, divers should be aware of potential trespassing issues and respect property boundaries. Ultimately, this practice can serve as a small yet impactful way to promote sustainability and reduce waste in our communities. Keep in mind that legal situations can change, so it's advisable to consult legal experts or local authorities for the most up-to-date information.

After a recent change of my website's name registrar, Firefox (both on Linux and Android) has been running into issues finding the server/address. I suspect this has something to do with DNS, whether it be DNS over HTTPS (DoH) or otherwise.

Specifically, this seems to happen when DoH is on (as shown by about:preferences#privacy). I have confirmed that `curl --doh-url <cloudflare DNS query> <my website>` also fails to resolve the request.

This leaves me with a few outstanding questions:

  • Do I have any control of whether the DoH request fails? Is this something I can fix through my host or name registrar?
  • The TRR mode shown in about:preferences#privacy appears to be different than the one shown in about:config (2 versus 0, respectively).
  • Shouldn't Firefox be falling back to normal DNS? I have confirmed via `curl` that my website works fine over https.

Firefox and curl results for Linux confirmed on two machines on the same network.
