I have multiple screens with task bars above each other. When I open firefox in full sceen ( not f11, just the full screen option that windows provides ) on the bottom screen, there seems to be a piece of firefox's top bar overlapping the task bar on the screen above.

How do I fix this? This issue has bothered me for quite a while now. The workaround seems to be to set the windows task bar color to white ( to make it less noticable ), but that doesn't solve the problem, it just makes it less visible.

Please see the screenshot. When I unfocus Firefox ( by focussing another piece of software, or none ) the white bar disappears.

Hi,

The electric cut out while my Firefox browser was open. Now I get a crash every time I try to open Firefox. I can't send a crash report and windows will not fix the problem. How do I fix this? I need Firefox to work as it has all my passwords and bookmarks saved. Why can't I simply move over to the developer edition? I did try but the morons at Morzilla didn't add any options for moving bookmarks and passwords from Firefox to the developer edition. Thanks a lot Morzilla, you really fucked up my day.

Firefox version 89.0.1 is not handling frameset src. No redirection to src.

This code is generated by my ISP's domain name frame forwarding software so I have no access to how it is generated ie: I am in no position to use iframes.

I should point out that this worked last week no problem. I had my settings on auto update so maybe an update has broken this I don't know.

Below is the code. It works fine in Chrome, MS Edge, Safari and Opera. Which tends to suggest that Firefox is the problem.

Note that this is exactly what I see when I view the page source in Firefox. There is a frame tag commented out. I don't know whether that is how it came from the ISP's server or whether Firefox has commented it out on receipt.

How do I get around this?

Hi, I'm using Firefox and Nightly both updated to latest versions on Feren OS (Linux). The drop downs, option menus, bookmarks etc. all have transparent background on Nightly. Stable version has black background and white text as it should be.

I've tried userChrome.css but it doesn't work. Changing font-sizes do work which proves that Nightly looks for this file at startup. I've tried changing background on these CSS elements:

  1. main-menubar menupopup
  2. PlacesToolbarItems menupopup > hbox

My OS details are: Operating System: Feren OS 2021.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.8.0-55-generic OS Type: 64-bit

Image is attacked for reference.

I have had PCs for years and have used Firefox. My PC died and will not boot. I have an image of my C:\ drive on a Passport disk. But the Mac will not read it. I installed Firefox on my new Mac and signed in had all of my bookmarks and passwords. Then there was a Firefox icon on the bottom strip and one on my screen. In the interim, I opened some new accounts and used a bunch of passwords. At the end of the day, I dragged the icon on the screen down to the row of icons at the lower screen. That wiped out my Firefox. I downloaded Firefox again and put in what I thought was the password and it said I had multiple accounts and if I changed the password it would erase all of my data. I need to find out how to get the right password so I preserve my data. The email account I used as the ID is coolsgirl@msn.com. I am 72 and I don't want to make a mistake that is irreversible. My sister said Macs were easier but I should have gotten a new PC. Live and learn. I don't know my Firefox email. Thank you, Phyllis

I was converting a MS word doc on my computer to an Adobe PDF and saving it on my computer. FireFox changes it to a FireFox HTML (I'm not not even using the Browser). While MS windows 7 lets me choose which way I want to view it (with Adobe or any browser), it is IMPOSSIBLE to post onto Facebook. FB is looking for a PDF and the file I converted to is something else. So now I can't post my PDF's because FireFox intrudes into my computer and changes things. HOW CAN THIS BE RECTIFIED? Can I stop FF from doing this?

Facebook is a culprit. Also OctoPi, a local service. Facebook, at least, uses rem units. Doesn't react to zooming in.
