I've noticed for about 2 weeks now, my google street view is not working like it used to. It some times will not respond and when it does respond it is very slow. I didn't used to have this problem, so maybe a new Firefox update or some other issue is causing then problem? How can I view my browser settings to see if some thing there is causing the problem? Hopefully, someone can help and cure the problem. Thanks,

on firefox 78.6esr the taskbar doesn't appear when i mouse down to the bottom of the screen.

googling this provides no solutions. neither does another profile. apparently this problem has been around for several years.

Hi, I am using an video chats app based on webRTC. When using firefox there are problems with the sound, with more people the sound crackles and is hard to understand. Is it possible that firefox is blocking audio packets in some way? Thank you in advance for your answer. Best regards.

In Firefox for Mac, when in fullscreen mode, moving the mouse curser to the top of the screen to show the menu bar covers the open tabs, address bar etc. I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug - in other browsers the tabs move down so that you can still click on them, which I much prefer.

Is there a way to have Firefox move the address bar etc out of the way when showing the menu bar in full screen?

I've attached a couple of screenshots to show the behaviour in Firefox compared to Brave browser (and I guess Chrome).

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I saw a few similar posts but nothing with this exact issue.

Quick link tiles appeared on my home page after the last update. I searched the internet on how to delete these, but I can't find any answers. I will never use these, and I want to remove them and I don't know how. Please and thank you.

I am part of a charity organisation which is using Google Drive to store records in the "cloud" and a means of multiple members accessing those files. A form has been created which needs a date to be entered. The form was created by another person with a drop down calendar or by entering the date using dd/mm/yyyy. When I open the form through Google Drive on my computer using Firefox (my browser of choice)the drop down calendar does not operate and the date is formatted MM/DD/YYYY. Through "Options" on the home page the language is set to English (Great Britain) and the date is said to be taken from my Windows settings. My Windows settings for the date formatting are correct at dd/mm/yyyy. If I change browsers to Chrome the form is accessible with its correct formatting. Your assistance would be appreciated

My hotmail account, which was what I used to set up my Firefox account, was hacked and then deleted. I can not log in to Firefox - I am locked out. How can I delete that email or that account and set up a new one? Nothing seems real intuitive here...

Hi, I'm a developer and I have a progressive web app website. It is HTTPS only and is on the HSTS preload list.

In the top sites list the icon recently changed to offline though the site has never been down. It's been so for about a month.

Can anyone tell me why that is happening? It's important to me that any visitors see the correct icon displayed in top sites.

hi, I'm having problems with Firefox on my Mac - every time Firefox is shut down, I have to relog in and authenticate myself and all my settings have gone so I have to redo them again. I have tools that I use for work that use certain settings else they don't work so I have to redo them every time I reopen the browser or shut my machine down. anyone know why this might be the case?

I don't know if it's linked but when I started using this current machine last year and loaded everything on, Firefox is sitting under 'locations' rather than applications and I don't seem to able to install it anywhere else - see image attached.

I have been using firefox along with xfinity for years. Firefox always logged me into xfinity automatically, BUT now is has stopped and each time I log out I have to re-enter informatioion. I have looked at the configurations and all look okay. Anyone able to help me out?:)

My observation is that you have just changed the Bookmark Lookup function to show only bookmarks. It use to show folders as well. When I wanted to find a bookmark, it is often to move it to a more "consistent" place in bookmark map, and you can't do that any more.

Also on the Bookmark Edit page, it would be awfully helpful to have it's folder label displayed there as well.

After upgrading to FF 84, my previous sessions are no longer saved and restored unless I restart in Safe Mode.

- I have Restore previous session checked in Preferences.

- I have opened new windows and tabs and one by one disabled and restored every add-on that I have had enabled and quit and restarted each time, until every single add-on has been disabled, and still the previous sessions are not saved and restored.

- I have looked in the sessionstore-backups folder with each restart, and there is never any file for the previous sessions in it.

- Again, even when there are absolutely no add-ons enabled, the previous session is not saved and not restored.

- Again, only when I restart in Safe Mode is the previous session saved and restored.

What is the solution?

I'm running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro like device (it's a Vaio Canvas). I have a bluetooth keyboard that is always connected, but I often just use it as a tablet. I've tried disconnecting the physical keyboard but I still get the same behaviour.

Using touchscreen, I select a text box (or URL bar/search box etc), normally the On-screen Keybard (OSK) comes up and lets me type. Right now, with FF it pops up and then promptly disappears.

This makes FF completely unusable using touchscreen/tablet mode. I have switched to using chrome on this device - I've tested other browsers too and none exhibit this behaviour. Could it be my settings?

Good evening. I have run the Ookla speed test through Edge and my download is 212.94 Mbps and my upload is 11.76 Mbps and uses the Spectrum Syracuse Server. Running Spectrum speed test on Edge registers Spectrum Syracuse as the optimum server and download is 236.2 and upload 11.6. Both are using my Spectrum server in Syracuse, NY.

When I run Ookla through Firefox I got 227.17 down and 11.63 up. Spectrum's speed test through Firerefox's Syracuse server 231.8 up and 11.5 down.

However for a while earler this evening when I ran both programs on both browsers and both through Syracuse's servers I was getting downs of 0.0 to 0.7. I reset the modem and router and still had low speeds but shortly after I got the readings I wrote in the first two paragraphs.

What would be the reason for this? Anything particular with Firefox? Something I should look out for in the future? Partially a curiosity while the other part being proactive.

Not sure this time.......you guys have helped me before, (thanks heaps...BTW) luckily I did my Banking before it crashed! groan.....my guy has no idea...('cos he's dyslexic) ... years ago he did a course, then left it up to me! It's to do with the fact that I didn't understand how to create/data into emails & such in the first place properly...now it's a big mess, plus for the life of me I couldn't remember how to fix up my emails, plus I had that problem of the long string of data that I have 'nursed' & that has now totally disappeared! Not very easy to explain, sorry! I had about 5 years worth, Hmmmmm... But I can't explain where my emails have gone! I do still have a few listed 'bookmarks' in alphabetical order but I don't know how to restore them, (she said hopefully)! I still cannot find out where the emails 'live'.....they seem to have located themselves into a new format! (Oh yeah, about 9 months ago I figured out how to insert a 'NEW FOLDER' ..lol... that really helped.) Sigh...this has taken me about 6 hours to sort out.....I am so very grateful, I hope this time who knows, I might get to flex my Wings!! I use Firefox on a Macbook.

I configured the search (about:preferences#search) to include only one search engine: DDG. As a result, when the URL/search bar is focused, the bottom bar with "This time, search with..." is not displayed. This is the expected behavior.

Starting about a month ago, it started exhibiting a bug: at random times, the search settings are getting reset. So whenever I open a new tab and focus the URL/search bar, the bottom bar with "This time, search with..." is appearing and displays four icons. When I go to search preferences, I see the same search engines that I removed a while ago.

This pattern has repeated about five times, and I'm getting tired of it. Is there a way I can make sure that Firefox remembers my preferences and doesn't reset them?
