Is there a way to adjust the timing of notification banners being display in the lower right of my screen... I notice that notification for "X (Twitter)" only last a few seconds, which is fine... but YouTube notifications will not disappear unless I select "Dismiss". I looked at Notification setting but don't see anything that seems to address that. Thank You

I have notbyte messages popping up with Firefox logo on them. How do i stop this happening? Tried to uninstall notbyte but cant find it. Can you assist. Thanks, John Dobson

It seems certain sites are prone to fire popup tabs, with any click, right clicks included. I close them immediately and the second click acts normal, getting the nav result I was asking for. How to strength the popup blocking function to stop this distracting behavior? Thanks for any pointers. This may prevent me from staying on FF.

Whenever I click on a notification news item it comes via The independent newspaper that I find very annoying. Is there a way of changing this? I was happy with Firefox the way it was until Microsoft mail was installed on my PC.

I'm running Debian Buster, no outstanding updates, with Firefox 115.12.0esr. I recently got a message on starting Firefox that said an update was needed before 03/15 or I would lose certificate checking and other bad things. Looking at recent questions from Firefox indicated there had been occasions when "fake" update-needed messages appeared. The Firefox About display showed no indication of automatic upgrade download & installation occurring. How can I find out whether this is real or not? Thanks, Bill

A while back I recieved a firefox update, installed it with no problem but it seems the notification message is forever locked into my home page. Nothing I do will wipe it out. Ideas?

Even in the notification setting found under privacy and security there are no sites listed, however, I am continuing to get banner notifications even after uninstalling the browser.

Yesterday, I started receiving "alert" notifications (system, browser, data has been taken) directing me to"cvmuuo8hubcc73b6fts0.premiumnetwork.co.in

How can I get rid of these notifications?

  When I go on bj's site and click on the department  I want and click on an item A pop up keeps saying this page is slowing down your browser click stop to get a better experience. I never had that problem before,how do I fix that?

This lasts possibly 3 seconds. It has an email logo and a high pitched sound. It just flashes on, not long enough to read, just long enough to be annoying. The location is always on the Top Right corner of the display. I have all notifications and web push blocked in Firefox preferences. System is Mac, OS 12.1

Firefox instructions say go to Notifications on Privacy and Security, but Privacy and Security on my Firefox no longer has a Notifications link. The sfgate site itself refused to let me into its settings. Where on Firefox do I block it?
