How do I make the toolbars smaller? Since upgrading to the latest version, they are twice as tall as they used to be. The text in them is still a reasonable size but the toolbars take up twice the vertical space they used to. This has nothing to do with the size of the page I'm viewing so Ctrl+ or Ctgrl- has no effect.
Thanks for any help. Attached is a screen shot showing the wasted space at the top of my screen with the new toolbars.

I clicked a link through on a shopping cart, but for some reason Mozilla has stopped servicing Mercadona.es properly (when loading a saved list, clicking to send items to the cart itself) - always used to, doesn't now. I forgot, and used Firefox instead of IE, and all my hard work will be lost (again!) if I simply close the tab. There used to be a STOP button, but it's not there any more. How do I tell it to stop cycling, please? Thanks!
When I click on the URL bar or search bar it has a blue border. How do I get rid of that?

When I right click a tab and click bookmark this tab a window apears with the option to select where you want the bookmark to go. If I click the bookmarks menu next to folder a dropdown box appears to offer me the different folders to save to. The dropdown box used to be white but is now black and has no text. If I put the mouse over one of the entries the text apears only in that entry. If I click the entry called choose the new box is white and everything is fine. It is the previous box that is black that is the problem. Somewhere the text box attribute of this box is set to black. Where can I change that?

Seriously. This is downright stupid. I attempted to download Firefox for the first time on this laptop and got a "This file is corrupt" error before the downloading portion was even done. I cancelled the download and retried and it went all the way though although it froze temporarily around the 66% mark and then finished. But after that I got "couldn't load XPCOM" so I did I completely uninstalled Firefox and then attempted to reinstall and again at the 66% mark at downloading I got "Couldn't load XPCOM"...the heck is going on with this oversized hunk of junk?

When I use my Logitech mouse with program buttons the scroll function of the mouse wheel freezes. The only way to get it back is a restart of the computer.

I have used Waterfox since I got my first 64 bit system. After the latest updated, I shut down my computer for the night and when I booted up the next morning, when I opened Waterfox it looked like it did the first time I downloaded it. All of my settings, saved passwords, etc., were gone. I've tried on several occasions since then to apply my settings, save several passwords, and every day I open waterfox or firefox it's back to the basic configuration.
Needless to say, I started using a different browser.

Hello, Simply put, I cannot get Firefox to load. In fact, the FF window opens as usual and the FF process appears in Task Manager, but the mouse cursor wheel just keeps spinning forever and there's no way to make FF actually work. In the end, I have to manually kill the FF process in Task Manager. I've tried all sorts of things: - reinstalled three times, including the clean reinstall suggested here: https://support.mozilla.org/sk/questions/1099489 - deleted places.sqlite - did TWO Windows recoveries (i.e. I used TWO restore points) and went back in time to 1) early today and to 2) several days ago (when FF worked flawlessly) - deleted my FF profile and created a new one - disabled AV software (ESET Smart Security Premium)
None of that has helped. Creating a new profile actually did help, but after I closed and re-opened FF, the browser 'went back to its dysfunctional self'. I'm at my wits' end really, looks like I'll have to unsintall FF for good. :/ Any suggestions? Thank you

every time I boot up all my desktop icons are grouped on the right side of the screen and my task bar icons are missing and must be re-pinned on every boot. This is a new phenomenon on my Firefox PC.
I have another computer that uses IE 11 and these problems are not present.
Both machines run Win 7 Pro and have all of the Microsoft updates to date.

Why should we trust this non-vetted company and their nameless/numberless employees with our computers and data, esp if we use computers for sensitive client data with social security numbers? Our Ransomware attack was NOT kept out with Premium Malwarebytes, no pity, no help, no decrpytors but continual requests for the attack data. WHY isn't Malwarebytes required to sign a proprietary agreement that the USA govt would recognize and the IRS accept as "Due Diligence." BEWARE! Malwarebytes cash flow is ever increasing with fierce concentrated sales effort of "protection."
