This is the message that I receive when I click on the Firefox icon:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to home.packagesear.ch. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

In the past I used to be able to turn encrypted sni on I did a firefox reset yesterday then I reinstalled my add ons

and I re-enabled encrypted sni by setting: about:config network.security.esni.enabled = true

but when I test it on https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/ the test takes a lot longer and also everything is green except esni: "Your browser did not encrypt the SNI when visiting this page."

So something is clearly wrong, but I don't know what it is.

how do I fix this?

I used to use Theme & Font Size Changer and was able to change the fonts to large and bold so I could read them. Now it doesn't work because of Firefox "upgrades". There really should be an easier way to change fonts, both sizes and colors, because not everyone is 20 years old with great eyesight. Is there a fairly easy way to do this? I'll even take a not-so-easy way if it works.

BTW, I've used "Firefox Colors" and it does make it a bit easier, but I really need to be able to increase the size of the text AND bold it.

This happens far too often, in the course of 9 months or more frequently. What is going on Firefox? v88.0.1 Windows 10

Constant script errors that freeze whatever program I am in, regardless of the option I choose - the popup no longer gives me a WAIT or STOP IT. The box comes up that says DON'T ask me about this again.

I do not want to copy passwords, more than anything, should I create a new profile. I do not want to deal with replacing or losing the file. When I attempted to load two other profiles over the last two days, both times FF crashed. I gave up.

I am NOW in Safe Mode and without errors, and it's hard to know which app is causing the problem.

Is there a new addon that will back up Firefox these days?

Suggestions? Seriously, FF seems to be a whole lot more trouble these days than she is worth.

I would like to know if there are any plans to support the new web vital Google metric "Largest Contentful Paint" on Firefox? As mentioned on https://caniuse.com/#search=largestcontentfulpaint it is not supported today, but it seems to become a standard to measure user experience on websites, already adopted by many different tools.

I can't open or create facebook accounts with any browser. Why? Even as soon as creating a new facebook account and nothing is posted, I am not obey their community rules. I do nothing strange and peculiar things. For example, First Name: Myo Last Name:Tun DOB:28/12/1978

Nothing is out of facebook community standard. But I can't use facebook with any browser. Why?

Hi, I am still trying to get my mother the covid vaccine. Now the problem is that reCAPTCHA does't work in firefox, internet explorer 11, or aol shield. In firefox it is not displaying correctly to even use, aol shield uses the firefox browser so it displayed the same I believe, can't remember now that I am typing, In Internet Explorer it showed the Box with the checkbox and the string "I am not a robot" but when checked the graphic load circle ran and it came back with the reCAPTCHA didn't make a connection and to check my connection, any idea on how to get this working. FF will now not let me log into a site Ive used many times, Ive cleared the cache, remove data, Im not to much techno knowledge but have done that then gone to saved log ins and removed original log in that was saved, gon back to the (site which is my energy supplier) put in my email, then password all is correct but it just will not open anything the dots on top left of page just keep going back and forth, yet if i go onto IE and log in it comes up instantly, maybe I should change!!

I was quite unhappy with the new Firefox Proton design, so I made a CSS file and copied the following code from a website. However, I don't know what to do to (1) slightly reduce the tab height, (2) get back tab borders for inactive tabs and (3) remove the small gaps between tabs. How exactly do I have to change the following code to do so (ideally, for convenience, please just complete the code accordingly)? Thanks in advance for any support!

Yahoo intruded and functions as default search, even though Google has been and is still designated as default in the settings. I removed Yahoo from the list of 1-click browsers, but that didn't affect its unwanted function as default search. This began out of the blue several days ago, and I have no idea how. I dislike Yahoo in general and have not been on that site. I'm getting really frustrated!

Hello! The audio output of Firefox is always set to the speakers of my laptop. I can't hear videos or music via my headphones or another audio device (Steinberg UR 22 mkII). When I take other browsers or spotify, the audio output is allways on the plugged in devices. But with Firefox I only hear it through laptop speakers.

I have problem with firefox on my ubuntu, I'm using ubuntu 18.04 LTS 64bit, n my firefox version is 83.0 (default),

So.. the problem is, my firefox always crash, I have tried to refresh, change profile, reinstall it, even use another version of firefox, but it keep crashing,

I don't know is it related or not to my problem but i have attach some logs about firefox in my ubuntu system log,

If any other information that u need please tell me, And please help me...
