Hi,

Looking at my Firefox 147.0.1 settings for macOS 26.2 (Apple M1), I'm trying to adjust two settings:

-- I'd like to remove Languages -> English (GB) (its existence has odd side effects, like triggering United Airlines to offer fares in Pounds Sterling, and I'd prefer to just have English (US))

-- I'd like to disable Play Audio and Video for about:welcome (in regular and private windows)

I can see no way to accomplish this currently -- why?

Reporting a bug:

"Firefox can’t update your languages right now. Check that you are connected to the internet or try again." but - Connection is established, INDEED!

German language pack not available :( manually downloaded verisons of german Language pack are incompatible.

please fix.

I've gone through the various troubleshooting options over the last month or so and Firefox is still crashing constantly for me, even in Troubleshooting mode. The tabs crash when I'm using a Google Doc, YouTube, Discord, doesn't matter the site; I've submitted about 20 crash reports this morning alone and failed to submit several more:

When File Explorer of Windows 11 25H2 tries to access and open an icon-file in the FF (144-64bit) profile's 'shortcutcache' folder, explorer gets Access Denied. The account running Firefox has admin rights.

Looking to the ACL of the profile folder containing the folder 'shortcutcache' show no reason for the blocking. Trying this with a new profile did not help.

For the past few days, I haven't been able to use Google Lens for searches. Why? It used to work, and I haven't changed anything on my computer.

I read the support article about this problem: everything seems fine, Google is definitely my search engine... Can you tell me what I need to do to get it working again? Thank you

Since I updated my computer to windows 11, I cannot load my amazon page. I've tried to load directly from menu bar, still NG. There must be a setting I'm not understanding

I have my FF preferences setting as "Strict". But somehow Facebook people were able to hack into my FF account, and obtain my password for FB and other passwords? This comes directly from my Firefox preference page Red Warming Box includes & states on Sept 30, 2025 Facebook Hacked & Gained access to my account. Not a person, it states Facebook did it. And to change my FB password ASAP. So I go to my FB account go through their lame motions and they say they will not allow me to do so because I haven't used my account very long and they don't know if it is me trying to change my password. My question is what do I do now and how to prevent any social media outlet of simply hacking into my Mozilla account or my Firefox accounts? Please help. Seems like their should be a law against this type of intrusion gathering save password and etc.

thank you for your time & expertise:) Can you please help me understand what would happen if firefox stops supporting windows 7 users. Will i still be able to use the browser - just with less security? I will probably have to give up using a computer if I cant continue with Windows 7 so I'd even be prepared to pay an annual fee to keep the support going. I am trying to get on an website but it will not let me it keeps saying to verify url or contact support i have updated both laptop and desk top and for some reason this one particular website will not let me have access is this an issue you that you can help me with.

when I try to log into my gmail account, it is asking me to verify by log in first to an inactive account that was linked to my gmail account. with Chrome I have no problem log in to my gmail account
