Hi my firefox keep crashing every time i open it I tried every solution possible to fix it it keep crashing even when i run it in safe mode I did delete my profile and create new one didn't help I reset the firefox didn't work I delete the hole firefox including the files and install new one didn't work for you information I use MacBook macOS the crash ID is : bp-379f611a-4165-468d-ac7c-a3f911170429 any idea how to fix it please

I have deleted firefox and renamed the profile folder and init folder then reloaded firefox. Get the same error message can find profile folder. I have done this several times. Help - I love firefox and this is the first issue. I have downloaded the latest update just before things went south. RN

I haven't been able to open firefox without it crashing for over a year. I've tried clean installs. Ran anti-virus/malware programs to see if there were any and haven't found anything. Once I open firefox or firefox developers edition and try to access any site the browser crashes. I've recently tried reinstalling firefox developers edition and on first open it crashed. I tried again and now it's only crashing the tab when I try to load a site and not the whole browser. I've attached the latest crash report ID: bp-132d6b3c-fcaf-43bc-a61b-72e690190619

Firefox is causing OS X El Capitan to crash with alarming frequency. When are the issues with firefox going to be fixed? I've had to completely migrate to Chrome because of these issues with Firefox.

Firefox browser worked perfectly with my iMac 27" with Snow Leopard. After upgrading to Sierra 10.12, Firefox will not open. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox from your site, which states that it will automatically determine compatibility with my operating system.

Interestingly, when I click on Firefox, there is no response, no "Firefox" on the top left of the screen next to the small Apple logo, and no Firefox page, nota. Yet when I bring up the "Force Quit" box, Firefox is listed as if it is open and you can click on it to make it "quit".

BTW, Google Chrome and Safari are working perfectly with Sierra.

I stumbled across a situation where entering "riot/" in the firefox search bar automatically redirected me to riotgames.com. After some experimenting I found that this occurs for a number of sites, but not all. Specifically, "google/" and "youtube/" do nothing, whereas "apple/", "hulu/", and "mozilla/" all redirect to their respective websites. Is there documentation that exists on this feature?

I have to go back to Firefox version 35 due to connection problems with programs in my university library. I've tried to access the old version to download it but I see a lot of security warnings and I still cannot download it.

I am using a mac and have deleted Firefox and reinstalled it. However, I cannot type in either the search bar or the url bar. The application is very sluggish and doesn't load.

When I open Firefox, a window comes up that reads "Authentication Required". It encourages me to phone "Microsoft Help Desk" (I work on a Mac - fully updated OS) and give them my username and password. There are "cancel" and "ok" buttons which start a man's voice saying "virus detected" or some such. It just will not stop. The buttons are totally ineffective. The only way to get rid of the message is to do a shutdown and restart. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it from the Mozilla web site. But as soon as I try to start Firefox it does the same thing. I have not deleted my Profile folder because that may not even do the trick. Does anyone have experience with this problem and how to get rid of it? I am writing this from Safari. Thanks DSBPenna

I am using OSX and every single browser has this functionality as default except for Firefox. It cripples me from going to the beginning or to the end of the line. Can someone help me change these keyboard shortcuts to make them work as intended? I don't care if it invalidates other controls that are assigned to these keys (Cmd + Left/Right Arrow).

firefox crashed on my Mac OSX. When asked to send a crash report, I said no and after that it would not connect. It goes to safe page and then says cannot connect to internet.

more stuck now!! have firefox on a like computer in another house- same operating system. Since update of mac el capitan cant even find firefox. Downloaded it but says it wont work on OSX I dont have OSX. info below doesnt work

i am trying to install firefox 46.0.1 on my mac that has OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 It downloads from safari but then there is an error message that says, "wrong protocol type for socket."

I got a pop up on Firefox that said there was an urgent update I installed it once not knowing any better that it was done internally (I like watching for malware and Trojans so I know but I had never seen it before so I thought nothing of it) and then it kept coming up and I ignored it but it's been getting annoying

I noticed a couple of weeka ago my MB Pro was acting up ,bad response ,slow , generally getting bad results then I noticed stormygreatz.com was appearing in the Search URL window every time I logged on to Firefox . I googled it and found out what it was .I then went on a search to find it ,I did , deleted the Ikons to trash, then immediately deleted trash, since then, no Ikons in Apps or Extensions. Today I noticed it was back ,or it never went away ,I don't use FFox a lot .Checked for Ikons none to be found .So I deleted all cookies and browser info ...still there .After spending 2 hours trying and failing to track down where it is hidden, I gave up . I would be grateful for any assistence you can offer before I Uninstall Firefox . Thank You .Niall Madden
