Any way to recover my entire Firefox history (dating back several months)?

Hi,

I'm running Firefox 14.0.1 on a 3-year-old Macbook with Snow Leopard.

I recently noticed that Firefox doesn't keep my Internet history forever (which I'd set it to do), but instead deletes my history when it's a few months old. It's August 12th and I just now saw that my history dates back only to May. So anything from April and earlier is gone--unless I bookmarked it, which I don't always do. The fact that they're gone forever is killing me.

Is there any way I can recover my deleted history dating back months, or even years? I'd even be willing to pay for software that would do this.

Many thanks for any help!

I just created a new gmail account and firefox is not giving me an option to save the password (the pop-up does not appear). I have several other gmail passwords saved already on this computer and have not changed any settings. I accept cookies. When I go to another site (facebook) and put in a new login info, the option to save that password pops up like normal.

I use a mac running snow leopard. Firefox 22.0.

Please advise why gmail specifically is not allowing me to save my password.

Also: there really should be a method to manually enter passwords for sites rather than just being able to delete them in "preferences".

Since updating to Firefox 30, Flash video on sites such as YouTube, DailyMotion, and others flickers in and out. It isn't just the video that flickers, either: It's also the player portion of the video (Play/Pause, volume, etc.) that flickers. While the flickering occurs primarily during playback, it can linger for a few seconds after playback has stopped. Not entirely sure what is going on here.

Well the question basically says it all. Starting a couple of weeks ago, i have not been able to command click links to open in new tabs (I am on a mac, OS X 10.6.8). This includes links to google books as well as library links. This only happens on google scholar. It also happens in 'safe mode'. I have contacted google support who have stated that this is a browser issue. They have not changed the coding of the scholar site. This is very frustrating. I have used FF for years and am now going to have switch to Safari, whose own command click function continues to work in google scholar. Any thoughts/ suggestions?

I don't seem to be able to find any answers to WHY this is (which I would like to know) and also I've tried to follow instructions (factory reset firefox, restart computer etc) but for some reason it doesn't make any difference and I really don't know what to do. I'm not particularly tech savvy so any help would be really really appreciated

Hello all,

I am unable to delete my Form and Search history in Firefox. Usually, yhe option is greyed out and will not allow me to delete. When it is not greyed out (on occasion) and I select it, Firefox does not delete my form and search history. I have trawled many forums, and see others have this issue. I have followed the steps people suggested, but like some, have not been able to resolve the issue. I have uninstalled Firefox, installed older versions, beta versions, deleted folders, etc... and nothing helps. My form and search history still shows up. This is obviously a huge concern for me.

Can any offer any help or guidance?

Thank you for your time and information, it is appreciated.
