Please Help! Why am I all of a sudden getting this error message? I have been using Firefox for years and Gmail.

Do you really want to use HTML Gmail?

You're about to use a version of Gmail designed for slower connections and legacy browsers. To get all of Gmail's features, including inbox categories, images and quick actions, please use the latest version of Gmail (recommended).

I do banking online with Key Bank and now they are saying: Due to security concerns, Firefox is no longer an option for KeyBank online banking. Nothing is wrong with your account. You simply need a different browser—like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox—to sign on to online banking.

What is the difference between Firefox and Mozilla Firefox? What do I need to do?

Is there any way to temporarily disable Firefox (and Thunderbird) update reminders? Mozilla seems to be updating its software so often that I'm getting too many reminders and it's interfering with my work flow. I understand the need to keep software up to date as often as possible but this has now got ridiculous, and I am on the verge of changing my default browser from Firefox to Safari, Chrome or Vivaldi. Please stop forcing every little tiny update onto your users!

Or is there some sneaky little way I haven't noticed under Preferences which already does enable me to do this?

New versions of Firefox are very slow for download speeds. 50% of what is available from my provider. Safari is at 100%. Is this from security and filters ?

Recently updated to the latest 2 versions and Firefox is failing download speed wise. Upload speeds are what they should be. I have ran speed tests from multiple sources and all return a similar range - 40-60Mbps. My provider speed is 100Mbps. I have run the same tests with Safari and it is operating at 100% speed wise. Are new security features and / or tracking filters responsible for this slow down ?

Can anyone tell me why, when I go to a legitimate website, I get a big yellow screen saying, "Warning: Security Risk Ahead? I am trying to go to real websites, for instance it will not let me go to www.equifax.com I know this is a real website, but Mozilla won't let me access it. Tabs in the tab bar randomly, suddenly can't be interacted with by mouse/trackpad pointer, sometimes even just the one and only tab in a window won't close when clicking on the "X." The keyboard commands to cycle between tabs and close tabs still work, but this is frustrating nevertheless. I've tried disabling all the add-ons I added in the month or two before the problem started. I refreshed Firefox, but once I added my add-ons back in, the problem persisted.

What else can I try to fix this? Any input would be appreciated.

After using messenger with no problems for years, yesterday I tried to make calls (audio/video) in messenger and keep getting an error message that my "brower" doen't support them now. I have the latest verion of Firefox 78.02. Anyone else experiencing this?

It asks me to use either Firefox (which I obviously have, or chrome).

I switched to chrome and got the same error message when trying to make a call as well.

Thanks for any help.

Netflix, Charles Schwab, others appear to not recognize my device and require two step authentication, every time, but saying now my device is registered and I won't need to do that again. But I do. What do I need to change so that their marker remains without losing all my privacy? Is it a cookie? Do I have to change the Dashboard to no security? Can I do that for just one website at a time?
