Using Ubuntu 18.04, 4.15.0-33-generic GNU/Linux, and Mozilla Firefox 67.0. Other browsers work fine, so it is not an internet connectivity issue. Firefox uses no proxy, and has IPv6 disabled. It cannot open a local server like 192.168.1.4, so it is not a DNS resolution issue. If I run it from CLI, I get the following:

ubuntu 16.04, firefox 68.0.1. New instance started after "updated in background" restart just sits there. Add-ons are not started, tabs are not restored as promised. Typing in URL bar and hitting enter does nothing. No response to attempt to open a bookmark. Typing "about:support", no response. I tried removing and re-installing firefox with "sudo apt", no help. Starting firefox without addons, no help. The "about:firefox" display shows no change in version number. A reboot is the only thing that cures this. It has now happened 8 times (8/2, 8/5, 8/9. 8/16 and 4 times earlier). I have about-buildconfig, about-firefox and about-support from 8/2 and 8/5 if they would be helpful.

I checked all preriquisites and installed GTK3 but Still have the error.

Hello everyone, I've recently had to recover my home directory on a machine running Ubuntu 18.04 from a backup... Everything works fine BUT Firefox which keeps crashing right at startup. Nothing happens until the report window opens up.
What I've tried so far:
trying to run it from terminal, trying to run it from terminal in safe-mode, purging and reinstalling it via apt, purging it again and reinstalling via downloaded tar.bz2 from mozilla website
When running from terminal I get the following:

I have exactly the same problem found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1261967 BUT, I'm using firefox 67.0.2 on linux (opensuse leap 15.0) and I have no antivirus running. Also the workaround does not fix the problem. I tried to rename the logins.json corrupted into logins.json (I think the file is still ok, since I looked inside with a text editor (Kate) and I found all my saved "hostname"). No way to reload my saved logins into firefox. Every time I restart firefox with the correct logins.json (the old one renamed) it does not connect to sync and it told me to re-connect to sync. Then, it rename the logins.json and create another file with no saved logins. Please help Thanks

If you take that long word put in a .html, and render, for me shows small gaps after groups of 9, 14, 18, 20... characters. The number of characters may change in different tags, like tables or a div, but always show small gaps. Tested in chromiun, but just works fine, without this gaps.
In online text editor does not show, but when rendered is shows.
Another detail, you need a css to force the word to break. And when this lines are created by the brake is when the gaps are visible. The css code used in that flow:
tag {
word-break: break-word; //1 For chromiun
word-wrap: break-word; //2 For chromiun
overflow-wrap: anywhere; //3 For Firefox
}

Hello,
Visitors of my website are having problem with Firefox. The browser is resolving the wrong IP.
Sometimes when they browse www.koreus.com, Firefox doesn't resolve www.koreus.com but it resolves embed.koreus.com instead (one of my subdomains). So It tries to load a webpage that doesn't exist on embed.koreus.com If they ping www.koreus.com , the IP is the good one.
I was also able to reproduce the issue using Firefox on Linux (Ubuntu). I have check the about:networking#dns page when the problem occurs, and the DNS informations are corrects. I tried to disable DNS cache by setting network.dnsCacheEntries at 0 but I still have the issue
Infos :
host www.koreus.com www.koreus.com has address 5.39.70.224 www.koreus.com has IPv6 address 2001:41d0:8:88e0::100
host embed.koreus.com embed.koreus.com is an alias for embed.koreus.me. embed.koreus.me has address 62.210.181.39 embed.koreus.me has address 62.210.201.242 embed.koreus.me has IPv6 address 2001:bc8:323f:100::1 embed.koreus.me has IPv6 address 2001:bc8:323f:200::1 embed.koreus.me has IPv6 address 2001:41d0:8:88e0::100
How to reproduce the issue ? Go to https://www.koreus.com/videos/nouveau/ and click on "Suivant" button to load another page. After 3/4 pages the problem occurs. You should see the webpage "Erreur DNS" which exist only on the embed.koreus.com server.
If I force reload the page, the good page from www.koreus.com is loaded, which looks like a cache problem. How can I confirm that ? Is it possible to see the DNS Cache ?
Regards, Jerome

No problems before I signed up for an account to use Firefox Send. Immediately after that I started to get an annoying pop-up window asking for my master password immediately on browser start.
I want to be able to browse sites without entering a password, and I also want to continue using a master password but only for sites which require a log-in.
I deleted my Firefox account in the hopes that would fix the problem, but the pop-ups keep coming.
I tried unchecking "ask to save logins and passwords for websites" in preferences but that didn't work.
I have not deleted my saved log-ins and tried a new/clean browser because I spent a long time getting all my add-ons and log-ins set up and I don't want to have to reinstall everything, and I am concerned that if I save my profile that it will just re-install the problem.
