Firefox updated this morning and now I have 3 "recent searches" added into the drop down from the address bar. And my frequently used addresses are now 5, I think it was 6 until today. Also the top 2 lines are search with Amazon and search with Google.

Is there anyway to get rid of the new recent searches, and also the search with Amazon and google? I don't want or need either of these "features", just my most used site addresses.

Make amazon and Google search go away and take the "recent searches" with them.

HOW?????

Hello, I originally installed Firefox in my work laptop and logged in to sync my stuff. Due to some company policies, I had to uninstall it. Eventually, I was able to overcome some oddities and finally could reinstall Firefox. But when I logged in, sync was neverending (matter of hours, if was just stuck); thus I refreshed it, but no luck whatsoever, still neverending sync. Tried a few refreshes and reinstalls until eventually everything was fine.

Unfortunately, during this process something must have been damaged as I lost most of my extensions and themes. So I decided to reinstall them one by one. For some of them everything went just OK, but some others (e.g. FoxyTabs) cannot be installed anymore, see screenshot. The path is:

  1. Click add button
  2. confirm I want to add the extension
  3. that error is shown (translate from italian: An unexpected error occurred during the installation)

I really don't know what to do. Did my Firefox installation get corrupted or what?

Thanks a lot!

Is this still the current status or are there any plans to support the old Windows versions for a little longer?

Thanks and regards, Martin

I have just re-installed Windows10 on my pc. I assumed that once I had downloaded Firefox and then signed in I would have the same bookmarks and saved passwords. Is this a possibility? or am I expecting too much?
