I can sign into YouTube ok, and the pictures of the video's are ok, but whatever I try to watch I get a green screen and just the video sound? It started happening yesterday. I am getting fed up with YouTube and the issues it has with Firefox. I'm having to use Microsoft Edge to watch videos. I've done the 3 resets it says on the support page, but still have the issue. Many thanks for getting back to me.

For the past few days, when I try to log on to PlayStation on Firefox, the sign-in page sits on a loading swirl after inputting email. There's a clear memory leak shown on Task Manager. The menu bar's right-click doesn't draw properly. FF can't be closed and needs to be terminated. The only extension I have is uBlock Origin disabled for this site.

This website works on Edge.

Attached is the broken menu from right-clicking the menu bar.

I have multiple monitors and most often have Firefox windows open on each. Lately, I've been noticing that the Desktop Window Manager process is consuming a huge amount of RAM. At the same time, consumption completely disappears with the closing of Firefox windows. Video: https://i.imgur.com/pHCa7Hh.mp4 (I left it for a while then closed Firefox windows) After a while, I noticed that already 13 GB of memory is being used by DWM. I don't know if sites affect behavior, but most often I have https://music.yandex.ru/home open

OS: Windows 11 (Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22621.1928]). Firefox: 115.0.1 (64-bit) Screen setup: 1 - 3840 x 2560 with 200% scale, 2 - 1920 x 1080 with 100% scale.

Hi,

After updating Firefox to 116.0.1 my tabs keep randomly crashing. I get some crash reports *occasionally* - meaning not all crashes produce a crash report - but I'm not sure what to do with them, they seem inconclusive. The last report (not for the last crash, though, which didn't produce any report) is bp-3334b934-58b5-4226-887a-235300231117

Hello!

I'm curious if there was a recent change in Firefox for macOS that started marking items copied from private windows as "concealed"?

I've been using Firefox for quite some time and last week started noticing that my clipboard history app, Alfred, was no longer storing anything I copied out of private windows.

Initially I reached out to Alfred and they suggested this was on Firefox's end:

Upon further investigation, I can see that Firefox intentionally marks its clipboard data as Concealed in order to protect searches done in a private window.

If this is true, can I turn this off somehow? It really breaks my workflow and am unfortunately stuck using Chrome at the moment.

Thanks!

I tried on several different browsers and always get the same error message. I'm trying to access this website link so I can download one page of sheet music.

Can you help me figure out what's going wrong?

Thanks, Sheila

playing video on YouTube is sometimes choppy

Most of the videos I watch on Youtube play normally, without any problems, but some play choppy, as if they lag, this is very rare on YouTube, for example, a couple of days ago I opened a video, it's choppy, and now I opened it, it's going fine, when I open a private window and go to a very well-known site, all videos without exception lag

For about one month (June, 2023) or more, updated Firefox for Windows 10 cannot play YouTube videos or videos on other website without being in Troubleshoot mode. Google Chrome has no problem with the same videos, and Firefox for Android also plays them. All help suggestions have been followed, including Refreshing Firefox, disabling some and all hardware acceleration, etc. Troubleshoot mode does not identify what was disabled (themes, extensions, etc.), but there are very few of such anyway, and Refresh did not resolve the issue. VPN was also disabled to see if that made any difference, but it did not. When the videos are attempted, the audio and progress bar work, but video is black. Scrolling with the progress bar reveals all images from the video one at a time, but PLAY does not enable the video, just audio.

hello! i've been having an issue with mozilla where webp images are not loading at all. this is especially prevalent on youtube, where thumbnails simply do not load, as well as on tumblr, where if an image or gif is a webp file, it will refuse to load. both are attached in the image below to see the difference between firefox and chrome, as the images load fine on chrome. as well as that, discord, when opened with browser instead of the app, does not load profile pictures, server icons, or custom emojis. google hadn't helped me at all, and i don't know what to do at this point. i don't want to go back to using chrome.

in the attached image, the top images show a set of shark sculptures. the first does not load on mozilla, and looking at the image file, it is a webp. the second image is revealed to be a jpg, which mozilla treats normally. in the second set of images, there's a quick look at a random youtuber's page, the top being mozilla and the bottom being chrome, and you can see the mozilla thumbnails do not load.

thank you for reading! i'm very confused and am unsure what to do. any help is appreciated!

Intermittently (maybe 1/20 times?), when I try to do a Google search from the URL bar I'll get a tab that doesn't load for about 30 seconds. If I search for the exact same thing in another tab it will load instantly, and if I select the url and press enter it will also load instantly. I am seeing this issue both when entering a search and when selecting text and clicking "Search Google for X".

I found a recommendation on a similar issue to set security.tls.enable_0rtt_data = false in about:config but I have seen no change with that setting.
