I am happily running Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) on my MacBook Pro (mid 2012). This OS allows me to use my many 32 and 64 bit apps and have excellent control of my laptop. My bank is saying that my browser (Firefox 88.0.1) needs to be updated. When I check system requirements at mozilla, any newer Firefox claims to need an intel x86 processor INCLUDING the version of Firefox I am now using. My Mac has an intel Core i7 processor. When I click on about Firefox, I'm offered to update to 109.0.1. Will this update actually work for me without losing any functions I already have? Is there a better choice for my Mac and Firefox?

I have noticed that recently a lot of well-known and trusted sites(eg- youtube) are showing connection not secure (Parts of page are not secure such as images and any information that you share may be leaked -passwords etc) . Sometimes when I reload the site, it again shows connection secure.

Is this a glitch or something to be worried about and is there a solution?

so regardless of what video streaming platform I use whenever I speed up the video to more than 1.5x it gets really choppy and irritating while the problem is non existent when I am using other browsers

I'm stuck at ver 88. Starting with 89 I seem to be limited to around 150 total tabs across all open windows (even if only one is open). Total lockup of the desktop (KDE in linux) It hadn't been a problem, I just shut off auto update.

Now websites are whining about me running an older browser and some are even refusing to let me in. So I thought ok, I'll run multiple instances and keep the total number of tabs low. 5 instances work fine, the 6th starts to act a bit flaky, 7+ is a total lockup of the desktop (KDE in linux).

Even if I can manage to kill the last instance, its corpse remains on screen.

So I'm back to ver 88 with no solution. Is there a way around these limits? When I'm doing development I often have more than 600 tabs open. Eventually some will get closed, but I can't very well get much done if the browser is just going to lock everything up.

I've been changing this over many years. Now I have two additional browsers to use so I'm not updating until I can, once again, organize the browser to fit my needs.

When I try to log into Subway, nothing happens. I can log in on Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome with no problem.

Tried troubleshooting mode but did not work.

Hi Suddenly in the last few days images and videos are failing to load on my AOL.CO.UK homepage, they are now just blank?? I have altered nothing, I use Windows10, and ad blockers and MWBytes none of which I have altered in any way? Is this a Firefox or AOL issue? Cheers Mick

Please tell me what to do to have the magazine work. It used to, but I think that some new thing like Adblock must have changed it and I cannot read the magazine now. Thanks.
