(I have bad English, sorry.) Hello! May I ask? Is it possible to officially download older versions of the FireFox browser? And at the same time that they work and open sites. Just, I have an old netbook, in general, all new browsers do not work well. Thank you in advance for your answer!

I'm trying to use a custom start page on new tabs opening (not happy that I have to use an extension for such basic functionality btw) but my service worker does not seem to activate or used when opening. Opening a new tab takes multiple seconds.

Navigating to the site (I have my start page hosted on AWS) on an existing tab is instantaneous, as is refreshing this page once the tab is loaded. So what gives? As far as I can tell Firefox doesn't install service workers on a per-tab basis, so there should be no issue here.

The recent updates are worsening the usability.

Before the update, I used to do the following steps in order to search anything using an alternative search engine:

1. press CTRL + L to focus the address bar
2. type my search query
3. press ALT + ↓ until the desired search engine is selected
4. press ENTER to submit the query

Now, after the update, an additional step has been introduced

1. press CTRL + L to focus the address bar
2. type my search query
3. press ALT + ↓ until the desired search engine is selected
4. press ENTER to confirm the selection of the search engine
5. press ENTER to submit the query

Yeah, it's just a single keypress more, but multiply it by a couple of hundreds times a day I need to do that, and you will get why I'm taking the time to report it.

Please get rid of step 4

I really want to have a Mozilla sticker on my laptop as I really like the web-browser and that it cares for its users. Does anyone have any idea how can I get one,I would throw some bucks if I have to for them? I would be really thankful if anyone can give me any suggestions! (I really like the dinosaur one)

Hi all. I have been looking for some time for an extension or method that will help me sort the extensions that end up in the Overflow Menu. It becomes impossible to find anything with them all shoved in there with no rhyme or reason, and I def do not want to have to put them in alpha order (or maintain them that way).

I am unable to log-in to Outlook through my Firefox Browser, I can however, log in using MS Edge and IE browsers. I have tried:

• Refreshing Firefox
• Deleting Cookies, Cashe, and History
• Disabling the "Block Pop-Ups" option
• Clearing any saved data, i.e. log-ins, passwords, etc.
• Uninstalling FF, Shutting down, rebooting, reinstalling, downloading FF, and logging in to Outlook without first logging in to my FF account, and after logging in to my FF account
• Making FF my default mail app in my default programs.

Nothing works!!! Please Help. -David

But the answer is 3 years old and nearly 30 FF versions ago, and furthermore requires lowering security. Is there a newer, better solution for fixing the problem with seeing question mark boxes instead of glyphs for certain fonts? (And one that doesn't require me to constantly toggle "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" in Preferences, which only works sometimes anyway.)

Hello,unfortunately I am not the most computer savvy person (sorry). I have been experiencing a few problems with Firefox over the last month or so. I currently use a Mac desktop and a Macbook and they sync together. I keep Firefox up to date as updates become available. My Macbook is fine but on my desktop I frequently have to Force Quit the application. In addition, I cannot clear my browsing history, cannot add a new bookmark nor able to delete a bookmark. I thought at first that maybe a bookmark I added may have caused a problem (?) on my desktop but the problem did not transfer over to my laptop upon syncing. I was thinking of uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it but I wanted to get an expert opinion. Is there a fix for this problem, have I done something wrong? As well, in your opinion are ad blocking applications such as 'ADBLOCK' or 'U BLOCK ORIGIN' compatible with Firefox / Apple Mac? Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me, and thank you for continually delivering a superior browser!

Firefox recently changed the Show all Bookmarks shortcut from Ctrl + Shift + B to Ctrl + Shift + O.

Ctrl + Shift + B shortcut moved from Show all Bookmarks to Show/hide the Bookmarks toolbar.

For what reason and how stupid do you have to be to change something that had remained unchanged for years?

Or am I the stupid who cannot understand what the inevitable reason is to complicate people's lives?

Bought a new M1 Mac. Was very happy when an M1 version of Firefox got released today only to find my account locked out trying to sign-in. I received the infamous message: "The confirmation email we sent to xxx@gmail.com was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data"

That is not true. I am receiving emails just fine and I never lost access to my email account.

Help please!

I happened to try turning on Firefox Sync at the exact moment Gmail went down and started sending bounce messages to all senders (my Firefox account name is my gmail address). Now I'm locked out of my account with no way to get back in. Help!

I have a new windows 10 laptop

i just installed firefox

as a try to enable sync i type in my email i type in my password it ask for the PIN sent to email, but i did not get the email ( i checked spam )

i retry to enable sync and i get :

my email is working i did test and its working fine

how do i get sync to work?

Since updating to FF84 this morning my_userChrome has been disrupted. As you can see from the screen shot the #personal-bookmarks #PlacesToolbar toolbarseparator has become extremely thick.

My normal my_userChrome code has always been:
