Up until 3 days ago I was able to delete individual cookies. I would click on the remove selected cookies in the manage cookies pop up window. Next I would click on save changes button. I would click on remove button in the drop down removing cookies window. Then the drop down window and the manage cookies pop up window would both close and my selected cookies would be deleted.
Now everything is the same until I get to the drop down removing cookies window. I click on the remove button and the drop down removing cookies window closes, but the pop up manage cookies stays open and the cookies I selected to delete are not deleted.
I don't know if it's a bug or what. I have restarted firefox - still doesn't work. I have restarted my Mac - it still doesn't work.
Hopefully someone can help me.

When I select a portion of text, right-click with the mouse and choose "Search Google for ...", Firefox opens the result in a new tab, but I would like to open it in a new window. I already have the option to open links in new Windows in the settings. Is there a way to open search results in a new window?

I couldn't tell you when it actually started, but I noticed it about 2 weeks ago. It's impossible to predict e.g. I open 4 identical tabs to my youtube subs page and maybe one loads. The pages work 100% of the time in Chrome, but I'd really like to just fix what's wrong in Firefox. See attached for how the tabs look and how a broken youtube subs page will look. CONGRATS (spoken with sarcasm) on releasing a new version of Firefox that completely ignores the userchrome.css file.
My current userchrome.css files looks like this:

It no longer works as Firefox 67 completely ignores the file. If anyone has a suggestion, I'm all ears. Otherwise, I'll be dumping Firefox (after being a user for some 15+ years and switching to another web browser. Mozilla keeps removing vital functions of Firefox to make it less user friendly then it was before.

I am using Windows 10 and I have recently had two Firefox updates. Following these I am unable to use safe money and therefore on line banking. I have had Kaspersky instructing me to do all sorts of things to no avail, and all I keep getting is safe money is already running.......god only knows where, or error, cannot open in protected window. I have logged out and back in . I have looked at my plugins and all sorts, and followed loads of instructions sending screen shots and doing reports. and still the blooming thing won't work. I have wasted about six hours going round and round in circles and it is causing me a lot of inconvenience, and when you are at work all day using a computer the last thing you want is to come home and have to spend hours trying to rectify something that was working on Saturday. Kaspersky don't seem to know what the problem is, but I am tearing my hair out, and I will now have to go to the bank and sort out what should have taken me about five minutes several days ago. Any help would be so appreciated because I am not the best when it comes to computers but I do try and have a go, but this is driving me up the wall, and because I am at work I only pick up my emails at night, and so the last two nights have been dedicated in trying to resolve this annoying problem that no one seems to be able to rectify. I would be eternally grateful if someone can help me before I have a nervous breakdown. Thank you.

if Firefox is running and i click on a link in my email, Firefox will open a new tab and show the page. if Firefox is NOT running and I click on a link, Firefox will open a blank tab; I'll have to click the link again - without closing Firefox - for the page to show.
this behavior is fairly new - about 4 updates back.

I had a system crash, probably with Firefox opened.
After restarting PC and starting Firefox, most of the addons I have had lost all of their settings and were reset to default - Tampermonkey lost all the scripts I had installed, uBlock lost all settings and rules, etc. Weirdly some extensions kept portions of their settings, like TreeTabs saved tree structure despite also getting reset to default.
Additionally Firefox also got its own settings reset to default, while the tabs from my session and bookmarks were saved.
Is there any way to recover addon and Firefox settings, is there any backup of them?

I am trying very hard to use Firefox Quantum and move on from Firefox 56, and the one thing that most drives me crazy is the single row for tabs.
I've tried implementing workarounds with the userChrome.css, such as the one found here: https://github.com/Izheil/Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Theme/tree/master/Multirow%20and%20other%20functions/Multirow%20tabs — but all my attempts have failed.
Does anyone know of another solution?
It's been horrible using a browser with only one row for tabs. It's very hard to find the tabs I want and to manage my open tabs, even using the menu which shows all of them. I often have no idea of how many tabs I have open, and I often end up with multiple tabs for the same page because I am not aware that it is already open or because it would take too long to find it.
With Firefox 56 and Tab Mix Plus, I usually had around 40 to 50 tabs open most of the time, and when I'm researching stuff this number easily gets to the hundreds for a while. With Firefox Quantum I have been unable to manage my tabs properly: I end up with much more tabs than I really need and it's hard to keep then organized.
I feel like I am struggling to save a marriage that can't be saved. I don't want to leave Firefox, but it's becoming unbearable. Feel free to suggest another browser as a solution to my problem.

Hi, When I take a screenshot in Firefox Developer Edition (67, mac), "Save visible" > Download, gives me a .png screenshot, whereas "Save full page" > Download, gives me a .jpg screenshot. (A Page with pictures). Taking a screenshot of this page, "Save full page" > Download, gives me a .png screenshot.
Why this inconsistency? I don’t like this functionality being "smart", I just need a screenshot in .png, with and without pictures in the page.
