No "Restore Previous Session"; Won't delete files(NOT just searches); other related issues.

[Dell Inspiron 560S; Win10 Premium (64-bit); Firefox 50.1.0; WLMail2012(horrible!); prefer old Photo Gallery (Edge Photo App took over); 4GB RAM; Pentium® Dual-Core CPU]

1. “Restore Previous Session” disappeared from my Firefox home page and I tried finding it with the help of some kind souls on this site but no luck.

2. When I click on FF button to search, it keeps showing other files I had worked on before (NOT searches!). I repeatedly tried to close them by clicking on the upper right corner red X, by the individual files right above the task bar, by Right Clicking to Close...but the files remained even after an all night shut off!

3. Additionally, when I click on the rare “clean” Firefox page to search, I have to click several times before it opens. The only way I can use the Search is by Open in New Window.

3. And, when luckily I’m able to close one file in order to work on another, instead of coming back to the next file, it goes back all the way to the startup so I must start from "0" again!!!

I hope I haven’t confused anyone with these weird problems and will get some help to fix them? Thanks ever so much!

Hi, I have an older version of Firefox on an older laptop. The Firefox is version 3. something (like I said old) and the laptop is windows vista home basic (again old). I want to know if there's a way to get the history and the restore session from the old one to the one I'm currently using (the most recent version on windows 7). The old one doesn't have the hardware to be able to update and add sync. So is there another way i can get the history and session from the older one to the new one? Everything I've looked at is about sync or about more recent versions or updating which isn't possible. Any ideas? Thanks in advance from the people who respond.

Several months ago, Firefox stopped saving updated passwords. For instance, I have changed my Amazon password. Every time I go to Amazon it displays my old password (I can tell by the length), and after I manually enter the new password it asks if I want to update the saved password. I click yes but each time I go back it is still the same old password that is stored. This happens on many sites, not just Amazon.

Since program rev. 50.0.2 installed I can not access one of my on line banking sites, on attempting login, site displays what appears to be raw machine code after submitting password and will not proceed any further, worked normally before the latest program revision ? Have eliminated all other possibilities such as un-installing 2 recent Windows updates which occured since last using the on line banking site. Reverting to MS IE11 browser, which I don't like, restores normal access to the site again. Issue is the same on both my desktop PC's., one running Win. 8.1 64 bit & the other running Win. 7 64 bit, both with the latest Firefox program revision installed.

The only event I can tie this issue down to is the Firefox update to rev. 50.0.2. I am reluctant to roll back to rev. 50.0, just have to use IE11 in the mean time for this banking site. I have quite a number of on line banking accounts but only one is effected by this issue.

Anyone had similar issues ?

This error message came up after just a few minutes of FF running. It had just crashed and I rebooted. I'm using XP SP3 and I know I have more tabs than I probably should have opened. Problem is as I work down the line getting rid of them S M is not updating. This time the session that restored was from months ago. I have been bookmarking so all is not lost. If I disable S M ( This Just In: The session/window data is corrupted: undefined(undefined) ). will sessionstore take over? The only problem I had with sessionstore was it only saved one back-up. Tired, I made the mistake of thinking the New Tab that pops up when FF starts was an error, having set FF to open all the previous tabs, I quickly shut it down to save my tabs. knowing no better I killed my only chance of restoring my tabs when I came to my senses and reopened FF to find out if there was anyway to restore my tabs. Ever since I have been looking for a better solution. But it seems that Session Manager is not it. SessionSaver worked, but it's not around anymore. I have a one terabyte drive so memory should not be a problem. So. If I disable Session Manager will sessionstore take over? Otherwise How can I get off this merry go round? Thanks

Multiple websites, (Everything from Vehicle Auctions to Australian Government Sites) don't print properly.

When Print is pressed, instead of showing a preview of what's on screen, the print preview ALWAYS shows a Mobile-website.

For this example, see the three screenshots.

The first is a screenshot of this site: http://www.manheim.com.au/passenger-vehicles/4953033/1992-toyota-celica-sx-3d-coup%C3%A9 In the browser it appears fine.

As soon as Print is pressed, the print preview shows only the Mobile View. (Other 2 screenshots) This is annoying as the mobile view has none of the details that you would want to print anyway.

As for printing from Australian Government websites, such as mygov, (When logged in) the site works fine, when you print, the page is completley blank with "You cannot view this content with a mobile browser"

HOW CAN I FORCE FIREFOX TO ALWAYS PRINT A PAGE AS IT IS DISPLAYED ON SCREEN? - instead of re-rendering it in a smaller version.

Any web site that has a Javascript media element isn't working through Firefox on one of my computers. Other computers are working fine, so it's clearly a problem with my machine.

For example, the play button on this site doesn't do anything: http://radiodeluxewithjohnpizzarelli.com/. There are no obvious errors in the console log. Also, when I test to see if Javascript is working at this site: http://www.javatester.org/javascript.html all seems fine. I'm running Javascript 1.5 with Firefox 50.0.

I tried restarting with add-ons disabled. I also tried doing a refresh of Firefox. Nothing has helped.

Can you suggest additional diagnostics that I can try?

Thanks.

when i save a complete webpage, firefox 50.0.2 saves the html file along with its folder, but unlike IE, Chrome or Firefox 44 - the pair of files created by firefox 50 are not managed as a single file, this creates a bit of a problem if you want to manage stored HTMLS - on the cpu with firefox 44 all i have to do is cut the desired HTMLS and paste them , and the folders will move along with the files - all 3 browsers save pages and work correctly on that cpu

however on the cpu with firefox 50, firefox fails to propperly save the pages, any page that firefox saves, its HTML file will not move along with its corresponding folder.

i would experiment by installing firefox 50 on the cpu, but i dont want to break what does not need fixing

If this behavior cannot be fixed, is there a way to "re-save" or fix locally stored webpages in bulk to restore their behavior so they can be managed as pairs? is there a program that can fix whatever attribute firefox did not give this "broken" HTMLs?
