HTM and HTML files don't have the Firefox icon, they just have a blank paper icon so it's difficult to distinguish them from other files in a folder. I tried reinstalling Firefox. In fact, I have upgraded to Firefox 64-bit from version 41 to version 47 (newer versions don't support ChatZilla). I don't even know if this is a Firefox or Windows problem because it started happening when I upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit. They are set to be automatically opened with Firefox, not IE or any other browser.

Firefox is completely IGNORING my settings for NOT asking about default browser.

The box is UNCHECKED, and every time I open firefox, it asks if it should be made the default browser, ignoring my setting. See attached screenshot for proof of what my current options boxes look like in settings.

I have tried checking the box, closing firefox, reopening it, and unchecking the box. Firefox saves the condition of the option BUT always asks anyway every time a new window is open, regardless of the setting being on or off.

I need the default to be Chrome for work, but need to use firefox to check site compatibility. It is vital that Firefox does NOT set itself up as the default browser in my use case.

Hello my dear comrads/ I was tryed to use FF Nightly x64 portable. No found reason why it more good then standart x32 version.

2. It reqest more RAM, because any tab use RAM isolated. For example x32 version consumption 800mB RAM for 32 Tabs.

 But also we must know that in x64 i can't get work of prevent image download  plugins. 

may be if i get it, x64 will be more thrifty of RAM.

  3. And big funny about cash. I don't know where it and how it size! 

That's now this problem in x32 version!

 I want change cash  size to 4gB. It seasonly with Russian GSM providers and i also have SSD=))

I found all bookmarks gone on both my work computers, but after updating firefox, they reappeared on one of the computers. After updating a couple of times, the other computer still shows no Bookmark toolbar and gives me a blank "library" page when I click on "show all bookmarks" or "Unsorted Bookmarks" from the menu bar. I can click on the star and still get the save bookmark popup, but I have no idea where that saved webpage gets saved to as it never shows up again. I also use Firefox on my home computer, but have had no problems with my bookmarks there.

I'm having an issue with Webroot. I've been advised to uninstall the Firefox toolbar and then they provided instructions to reinstall. I don't know how to "use a utility" to delete the toolbar.

Firefox continues to crash even in safe mode. I rolled back to V47.0 because the newest version kept crashing. The same thing is happening with V47.0. This is very annoying and has been going on for about 1 month. I did run Malwarebytes AntiVirus Software. Please advise on how I can fix.

I have windows 10 and the latest version of Firefox. This is a new laptop with fresh install of Firefox When I use Logmein Central and click on a computer I want to control It is not displaying the Remember Credential Box to check for that computer. I have the same setup, same version of windows same version of Firefox, on my other laptop and it displays correctly. On Internet Explorer on the new computer it displays correctly. All the setting on Logmein Central are correct as verified by Logmein tech support. Logmein Support took remote control of my laptop and checked everything and says it is correct for their products. I have deleted FireFox, edited the registry and removed every reference to Firefox and Logmein. Deleted all folders and file that referenced Firefox. Did a search for both entries and found none. Restarted the laptop and installed Firefox, did not update Firefox did not sync and it did the same thing. I also removed all cookies, history, passwords, and cleared the cache

Attached are 2 images one in Firefox and one in IE from the new laptop. The remember Credential box should appear just below the password box. In Firefox it is not there

I want firefox to play videos on facebook, and I don't want to keep updating firefox to play them. Why can't firefox just play videos?

I think it was after using Chrome instead of Firefox as I usually do that I found my search bar had disappeared. I eventually got it back by >Customize >Restore Default. But it was previously below the address bar and I can't find how to re-position it there, where I'm used to finding it. [Using Firefox 47 and don't want to upgrade from there]
