A recent Firefox update removed all my add-ons and lost my saved logins. After rebuilding all these I find there's one entry which isn't working for a frequently-visited site, and I can't remove it from the list.

Always when I try to watch any video in HD on Firefox, the image of the said video starts to "choke" - i.e. it stops and starts to load the video to soon after play it again; so it stops again, re-starts to load the video, play it, etc. This problem has been happening for months! But until now, no one - not the guys at Google or even you at Mozilla - has been able to fix this stupid problem! now I ask, gentlemen: is there any way to fix this problem once and for all?

My PC is a Intel Core i3-2120 with 8GB of memory, HD with 500GB and Windows 10.

I am told that they are encrypted and use mixed content. Firefox automatically blocks them. But, I need to download and use their scans and fix it tools. How can I fix this for these websites to work? I have already allowed them in permissions. It hasn't helped. My firewalls are not blocking them. Browser is updated. Firefox 43.0 Windows 7

I have OSX 11.3. I followed the instructions to renew my profile (Firefox instability issues fixed) then tried to copy the old book mark file (in the old Firefox folder on my desk top) to the location of the new one. I tried this both with Firefox running and without. The image attached shows what happens when I follow the instructions to find the new profile. There is no Firefox folder!

I updated Flash in Firefox 42.0 to version 2.0.0.235. It crashed 90% of the time, even with hardware acceleration off. It does not crash with Flash Protected Mode turned off. I then updated Firefox to 43.0. Flash crashes every time, even with Flash Protected Mode off. No Flash problems on this Win-10 PC with Microsoft Edge or Chrome. Seems that FIrefox 43 and Flash are incompatible. Hopefully Mozilla and/or Adobe will fix in the next release.

I had to restart in 12-23-2015 and now all I can find is that date. I've tried all the suggestions to the point where I'm frustrated.

Can someone please tell me how to get my bookmarks back.

I've double-checked that no other program is deleting the history, and there are no scheduled tasks running that would do it. I have Firefox set to KEEP history. I DID have a crash at one point - could that have corrupted a user file?? How do I create that corrupted file to check if that is it?

I received notification of this patch and it appeared to be bonafide. My Norton 360 said it was safe, so I downloaded it. Now I wonder if I should have. If not, what should I do now?

If I try and watch a video on the BBC news site I get the above error. I also get a similar error with videos on Twitter and Ask FM. These used to work. I am running Firefox 43.0.4 on Windows 7 SP3.

We have multiple computers that some website work on some computers and don't work on others. They can be on the same exact version of Mozilla, but certain sites get the Insecure connection. But you go to the computer next to it the site works just fine. I noticed the Certificate Authorities list are not the same. How does this get updated? How do I update the computers that don't have full list?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still has same list. example would be datalocker.com

I am not looking to only add the certificate for this site. I know how to add one exception if I trust the site. The problem is multiple sites do it and I shouldn't have to add one for every single site. If other computers can access just fine, then there should be a way to update the list without individually adding each site.

Hotmail is very slow working with Firefox for awhile? I am using Firefox 43.01. I find hotmail, yahoo etc very slow on Forefox, but it did not have such issue with other browser. I have ad blocker add-ons in firefox. Why did firefox not having a built-in option to turn off ads?

As some folks suggested, I disable all add-ons within hotmail. I did turn off acceleration option under firefox option to get rid off flashing screen. No relief .

The were lot of messages in Hotmail forum about it. They suggest to reach firefox support.

I upgraded to windows 10. I removed everything then deleted the hard drive, then installed Windows 10. After it got it's updates I installed Firefox signed in to my account and nothing happened it didn't download my 1000's of book marks or, plug-ins, extensions or, themes. I thought, maybe I signed in to the wrong account (I have two) so I signed out of the first one, then signed in with the second one, and still nothing. So, I signed out of the second one and, signed back in to the first, the one I know I was using for syncing, and still nothing.

So, what happened to my synced items, how can I get them back?

Recently Firefox has started crashing a lot because the plugin container stops. I've tried a lot of different things and I'm getting tired of constantly researching new things to try online.

Things that I tried from the crash troubleshooting page: Made sure Firefox, my plugins, Windows, and my drivers are all updated Scanned for viruses and spyware Scanned and repaired my hard drives Since most sources said it's probably Flash causing the problems, I've enabled/disabled hardware acceleration, both through Flash and through Firefox options. It was originally disabled on both when the crashes began.

I haven't tried Safe Mode or disabling different addons and plugins because the crash doesn't happen at any specific time. Sometimes it crashes as soon as I start Firefox, and sometimes it doesn't crash at all the entire day. But a decent amount of the time it crashes every few hours. Since I don't know what's triggering it, disabling all my addons or individual ones and just waiting for it to crash doesn't sound like a good idea to me, since I wouldn't know if the problem was fixed or if it just wasn't crashing at the time, and if I have to go a substantial amount of time without my addons, I'd rather just switch browsers (which I really don't want to do).

Normally I have about 20 or so tabs open, mainly stuff I want to come back to with a few active tabs. This has been my practice for years and I haven't had any trouble with it before unless the tabs get really out of hand, in which case I go through and prune them back. I start up Pandora radio as soon as I start Firefox and have it loaded constantly. I watch a decent amount of Youtube, but some of the crashes happen when I'm not on Youtube or any other Flash website other than Pandora. And a few times it's crashed before I even loaded Pandora. Anyway, if there's anything you can do to help, I'd really appreciate it! This has had me tearing my hair out for a week or so now.

My page set up just changed from inches to metric. Paper size is Letter. So what happened with the latest Firefox? Been using it for years and never saw this issue before.

I have a laptop, with a 1920by1080 screen. I get the mobile edition of multiple websites (including mozilla support.) What setting do I need to change in Firefox to ensure I get the full webpage, instead of a mobile one?

I also have a laptop with a 1366x768 screen. It, too gets the mobile editions, instead of the full size, or "desktop" editions of websites.

Just need the addon, or better still, the actual firefox configuration setting to fix this issue.
