When I try to search up something on Google form the taskbar, it says Untrusted connection, and it doesn't allow you to "Understand The Risks" and continue through. I don't know what it's happening. I just updated firefox, and I also refreshed it and it still doesn't work. When I go to Google.com, it loads, but as soon as I search for something on the site, it appears glitched and the other features of it such as Images, Videos, News, Search tools, automatically takes me to Untrusted Connection.

When I search for something on Google using the search bar it says Untrusted Connection, and it doesn't let me "Understand the Risks" and go through. I'm able to get to Google.com but when I search for something it comes up glitched looking (Shows the old Google Logo, etc.) it doesn't let me use the features such as Images, News, Search tools. It automatically goes to Untrusted connection.

Also when I go to Google.com it says Not Secure Connection.

disabling javascript without offering a link to any other script, makes my primary use of firefox useless. without the ability to view streaming videos i have no real reason to use firefox. so by doing this you removed my reason to even have firefox in my computer.

I use Firefox on a desktop, not a mobile device. A previous question and answer solved my problem before the update to Firefox 42, but that solution no longer works.

Now in about:config, setting <browser.preferences.advanced.selectedTabIndex> to <false> does not open a pop-up window, but rather a new tab.

Working global code in userContent.css : a:hover {

 color: white !important;
 background-color: #C00000 !important;
 text-decoration: none !important;

That caused a problem with one website so I want to set that rule per domain : @-moz-document domain(facebook.com) {

} I had it working some time ago but I must have done something different. In the editor, the words hover and color are blue instead of brown and the code is not working. The same for other sites.

How do I correct the code?

After Firefox crash and attempted reboots the Firefox screen was locked into previous content i.e. no heading lines or Windows bottom line. Could only escape by CTL-ALT-DEL. Attempted Firefox update (Using IE). Same result. Did Firefox uninstall and install. Same result. Help!

I can not disable the fullscreen warning in Firefox 42, it was possible to disable it in previous versions by disabling "full-screen-api.approval-required" in about:config.

Off for several release (from 40.0.0 I think but not certainty), scrolling stops and / or is extremely slow and choppy until the page is not fully charged. This is all the more painful if we wait for loading a heavy image on a slow site.

I tested with the Firefox Safe Mode and it changes nothing. Disable graphics acceleration nor solves this defect. Test a new blank profile ... Remove and reinstall Firefox ... Namely I met no automatic scrolling problem on Internet Explorer or Chrome.

As I visit large high resolution photo galleries, is often sucks having to wait finish loading before dragging on the page with the pressed wheel. I leave then your knowledge to help me determine the source of this defect.

I used to use Mozilla Firefox Polish language version, but since few updates language automatically has changed to English. I tried several ways to changed but none works. I tried options in program menu and settings on website but it's still the same. I think problem can be generated by the fact i have mozilla synced on laptop and my smartphone. Still it's strange because on my phone i have Polish language.

i love the new tracking protection feature in private windows.. i would like to know if there's a way to enable this feature in regular windows (i have already set the "Request that sites not track you" option but, i guess this leaves the option for the destination site to not track me! which i don't trust)

I had backed up my data (bookmarks, tabs, history, add-ons, preferences) using Firefox sync. I formatted my PC and installed a FRESH copy of Firefox. But when I tried to restore the data using FF sync and after logging in successfully, I was shown a notification saying that "Firefox will begin syncing momentarily" but my data wasn't restored. What should I do in order to retrieve the data that I had saved?

I've updated my Foxfire and now have the strengthened privacy browser and tracking protection. It got me thinking and poking around clicking buttons to find an option setting to make private browsing the default launch mode. Is there a way to do that?

Whenever I open a mail sent from my University Faculty my browser crashes, I looked up and tried to disable hardware acceleration and Disabling WebGL, but none of that worked. Frequent, repeatable crashes when navigating to most websites. Some sites will work fine for months and then suddenly start causing the crash. (This problem has been going on for 6+ months - originally I just quit visiting a few of the sites, but now it's most any site I visit.)

Specifically, going to usps.com, frysfood.com, or even the support.mozilla.org site causes immediate crashes (well, a 2 second hang, and then crash, but no loading is completed) of the browser. Visiting some sites like zerohedge.com, which started causing them today, the page will load somewhat before crashing.

I tried posting about this on the MozillaZine forums but was not able to resolve the issue. I think I've tried everything - disabling all my addons/ plugins (the 'never activate' and then rebooting). Disabling hardware acceleration. Uninstalling, deleting folder, reinstalling. Creating a new profile. Refreshing firefox. Disabling Flash hardware acceleration, removing old versions of Flash and Java. My drivers are all up to date, and have been repeatedly updated as i went through this process. I've been repeatedly scanning for malware and viruses, and none are ever detected by Malwarebytes. I've tried Firefox safe mode, still crashes. (I even tried Windows Safe Mode with Networking - that actually let me browse normally, but I can barely use the computer in safe mode.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I couldn't do the 'automatically add' because I have to submit this in Chrome. Even just sitting at the 'restore previous session' page now causes crashes.

I have a Google calendar loaded as an iframe at http://www.unionvilletennisclub.ca/calendar.html. It has worked all year, and still works with MS IE and Chrome browsers, but has suddenly stopped working using Firefox. All my browsers are up to date. Any ideas please? Mike.

The lateste 42.0 upgrade has removed to fix I applied (Adjusting the preference 'browser.preferences.inContent') to continue allowing the Options to appear in a pop-up window rather than in the flat browser window. This is really annoying and awkward to use, the pop-up window was a lot easier to use and have floating 'above' the browser window.

Adjusting the preference 'browser.preferences.inContent' no longer seems to work. Please tell me if there is some way to fix this as i am in and out of options a fair bit and it really is a pain to use now.

When I updated to version 42 something happened during the upgrade. The activity icon keeps circling and my staus-4-ever add-on bar remains on and wont go away. When I try to check for updates in options it does not show the update to version 42 but when I go into help about Firefox shows I have version 42. I tried restarting my computer and it still shows the download icon circling etc. T the shut down the computer and powered it back up with the same results. I refreshed Firefox and that didn't help either. any suggestions?

Sorry I post here, I didn't find where suggestions could be posted. I wanted to ask if it is possible besides Open in New Private Window to be added Open in New Private Tab for the people who prefer opening new tabs instead of new windows?
