I have a service contract with Microsoft but they cannot fix errors on Firefox. I am getting Script errors only on Firefox, not on Internet Explorer. I am not a technician and need someone from Firefox to fix their error condition.

It crashes whenever I try to look at my Facebook updates (scrolling down), happened only recently when I updated to FireFox 38

Hello, so basically, throughout the day, firefox will crash. Sometimes it will just straight up crash itself and leave nothing but the, "We're sorry, firefox has crashed" screen. I do send off the crash report most of the time, but it's gotten to the point where I've gotten really tired of it, and will search for help. Most of the time, the "Plugin Container for Firefox" will crash with it.

I have tried during hardware acceleration off. It does not help with the crashing, and seems to only expedite how fast firefox crashes from that issue.

I intended to delete Chrome once all my data was saved in Firefox but now I cannot because none of my saved log on usernames and passwords I have saved in Chrome imported to Firefox. Is there any way to fix this? I have followed all the directions. When going to Tools/Options/Security/Saved Passwords - they are not there.

When browsing certain pages (specifically Reddit.com), going back to the previous page will refresh the whole page, which expands the comments I've collapsed and I can no longer find the comment I was looking at a moment ago.

Currently I do not have any add-ons activated, but if I start Firefox in safe-mode the problem is no longer there.

I have tried to refresh Firefox, but this did not solve my problem.

I have also cleared my cache and this did not solve my problem either.

This is a problem that seems to come and go from time to time, without any reason that I understand.

I just re-did Mozilla to what it was in the beginning and everything disappeared. I want Firefox toolbar back I want Norton toolbar back I want the bigger text back...why are the text so small (right now even on my mail) I can't read it without magnifying glass

and while you are helping me...please tell me how I get rid of a black page with the logo American Megatrend that comes up instead of my desktop when I open the computer. I don't know where it's coming from and I certainly didn't download it. Does anyone know what it is? Thank you for help

My session restore got deleted just because i accidentally cleared 1 hour of history? Really?????? And when I sometimes have opened PRIVATE window and NORMAL window (with all my tabs) and accidentally close normal one, session gets reset too. Just because the private window was still remaining. Cant restore when private is open, cant restore even when i close it. What the hell does private window have to do anything with SESSION SAVING? It shouldn't change session files since its clearly said that it only saves downloaded files and bookmarks, the first having nothing to do with sessions, and second being invalid since i don't save any bookmarks. Ever. Over 140-150 tabs for the F sake. An ass-whooping 150 tabs. That's waaayy beyond 1 frigging hour because i might add 1-3 tabs each 1-4 days. IF any of moderators, or devs sees this At. All. Please, and i really mean PLEASE, update your session saving and restoring methods. Not just few features and new look for the browser. Hell, i might even frigging donate, if possible, when i have a frigging job. But, for now... RESTORE. MY. FUCKING. SESSION. I haven't closed the browser since when i lost it, and not planning to until i get my session BACK. Hell, there has to be some file that still has all of my tabs. No, recovery.bak and recovery.js only shows my current one. So not that. Some other file. There MUST BE SOME. Yeah, its pitiful, but i am really desperate to recover my session. There was so much good stuff i cant afford loosing. Really, please, can someone lend some knowledge, some methods, point to some software or something? Or even if the moderators, I would appreciate the help. And sorry for the swearing... Really, not in the best mood.

Been cleaning up my PC and noticed I'd lost a large amount of space on my C drive. Using WinDirStat to get a listing of disk space usage I noticed that my Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/XXXX/storage/temporary folder had grown to 4GB!

Inside this folder are countless folders mostly starting like 'file++++I++Projects2015+WebGL_Builds+index.html'. Inside which is a folder called 'asmjs' that contains a number of 'module' files.

Its clear to me that most ( over 95% ) of the space used here is from running Unity's webgl builds of various test projects I've made over the last year or so. So this is obviously some form of cache or maybe a local store of pre-compiled/optimised js of the webgl Unity projects ( games etc).

The problem is clearly that these files are not getting cleared and are anything but temporary. As far as I can tell there is no means to control the overall size of this folder, or to clear it. At 4GB its taking up 1/16th of my C drive, so its space I cannot afford to lose.

I have tried clearing all caches Firefox provides access to, i've cleared history and other storage. I've investigated IndexedDB, local storage, session storage but all were dead ends. I've made several google searches but found almost nothing on this or any useful information.

I'd be very grateful to learn how to

1. Control the size of this folder 2. Delete all the content from this folder, besides simply deleting via the Windows explorer.

In addition what is the best method to report this to Mozilla, as it seems obvious to me that being unable to control or that this folder can grow to 4GB so easily that there is an problem here that needs to be addressed.

So this "firefox not responding "issue is really becoming quite frequent. (2-3 times a week) and I am doing a refresh about twice per week. Firefox was the absolute best now, I'm not so sure. Should I switch or is there a solution on the horizon?

I have clean (just installed) Windows 7 N Ultimate SP1 and only AMD display drivers and firefox installed, nothing more. No addons, no plugins, no flash, no sync activated yet, no any configuration and youtube is not working! I tested from both, normal and safe firefox work mode. Nothing. In both cases I'm getting "An error occurred. Please try again later." message (see screenshot). I had the same problem before I reinstalled Windows. Youtube actually stopped working maybe month ago. With other browser (chrome) everything was working fine. Do you have any idea why is this happening? There are some errors in web console but I'm not sure this is the problem. As I said everything is on default.

I tried to Refresh Firefox (NoScript & Add-Block Plus were removed as well)

Java(TM) Platform SE 8 U45 & Java Deployment Toolkit 8.0.450.15 in add-ons is set to: Ask to Active

"javascript.enabled" Value in about:config is set to TRUE and I toggled it to false and then true again, and no changes..

everything is fine on IE But not @ FF or Chrome as well !!

In Java control panel (desktop application): Java content in the browser is Enabled

Windows Defender is on.

The company has recently changed around and this form is on a different page. Before the change around the form was remembered and I only had to press the first letter or number of my name, address, emall etc and the full line was offered to me by FF and when clicked on the fields auto filled.

I have filled this form in 3 or 4 times now and no autofill is available. I also deleted the cookies for this when it did not work the first time. I use this form every week so this is very inconvenient. Other forms autofill so please do not ask me to check my settings. Passwords and user name are remembered so this is a problem for ASDA and Mozilla to sort out.

I am using Windows 7 on my main computer a Toshiba Laptop (2 years old). The problem also exists on my old computer a desktop using widows XP. I suppose it would as I am using sync with FF 38.05 on both devices.

Firefox 38 The option to right click on an image and select save image as, sometimes creates a jpg that will not show in my image viewing program BreezeBrowser,I just get a red cross, and opening it into Photoshop declares it as having a problem. 'Could not complete your request because a JPEG marker segment length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete)'

I can go to another website and it works on an image,

The only way to resolve it is to do a printscreen of the entire screen and fiddle around in photoshop.

I have been able to use Right click save image as, in IE for decades, and since using Firefox, this last few years likewise, but in recent months I get this problem.

Earlier today, I watched a Youtube video and closed the tab, however after a few seconds the audio of the video began playing again. The audio does not loop - it will stop once it's done. Although If I open a new tab, strictly talking about opening a new tab via CTRL+T or the new tab button the audio will begin playing again after a few seconds, or if I open a new tab while the audio is playing it will reset. This does not occur if opening a new tab via opening a link in a new tab. If I open a new window, the same will occur except the audio will overlap with the audio from the other window. I've already tried rebooting my PC, clearing cache, clearing history, clearing cookies, and reinstalling Firefox, but none have worked.
