Copying from another document and pasting into our SharePoint site - I receive the message that "Your browser is not configured to allow access to your computer's clipboard. Use Control+X for Cut, Control+C for Copy, and Control+V for Paste". However Control+V will not actually paste anything and I can't find any configuration setting in Firefox that can be changed.

For the past several days, I have been getting script error message such as the above. I keep getting Firefox is not responding when I try to change tabs, go on links, go to other websites, etc. I'm getting p.o.'d and will go back to Internet Explorer if you can't fix this, FIREFOX! My time on the computer is hours longer than normal because of the delays in waiting for firefox to respond and in waiting for the script error message box to keep coming up so I can click to continue. I have refreshed my firefox and have had to update all my extensions and addons and am not interested in doing it again, there has to be some other way since that isn't fixing the problem, either!

Hi I am running windows 8.1 and Firefox 38.0.1. whenever I click on the red "x" to close Firefox, Firefox will not close. if I want to close all the tabs, Firefox won't close the last tab. If I try to merge windows (by dragging the tab from one window in to a different window) Firefox will create a blank tab on the window from which I dragged the the tab was dragged. So far the only way to close fire fox is to click on the shut down button or to end it through the task manger. when I re-open Firefox the windows and previous tabs are also there, and I am still unable to close them. I have restarted my PC and reinstalled Firefox (i.e. uninstalled and download again). however, after downloading Firefox.... the same windows will open, with the same tabs! It is horrible!

when i am in Firefox and I do a search, Firefox (annoyingly) automatically replaces the tab i am in with a new tab. i would like to set the default so when I when i am in Firefox and I do a search, Firefox will automatically open a new tab.

This just started happening today and I'm not sure why. I've tried troubleshooting and nothing works. I even tried refreshing Firefox and safe mode. It still crashes and there is no crash report. I can open Youtube's main page just fine, but when I try to play a video it immediately crashes. I've tried playing around with disabling plugins and anything else I can think of, but nothing works.

Hi On at least 6 occasions when I have used Firefox for downloading, it fails to download files correctly, what happens after about 3 minutes is an error message saying Failed I generally enjoy using Firefox but it cannot be viewed reliable. Opera on the other hand does the same file download perfectly. The file was from Sourceforge a iso image file of 667Mb Firefox managed just 42.2Mb before failing. Some more work is needed to make downloads comparable in reliability to Opera

My operating system is linux Mint 17.1 xfce

I have followed the instructions from the forum. I uninstalled Flash Player. I installed the latest plug-in. When I RUN the Flash Player install application, I get the Adobe Installer box, but it is blank. I have let it sit for extended time (over 30 minutes) and is does nothing. When I close the box, Windows Explorer opens and looks like it is on the Adobe website, but there is nothing displayed in the viewing area.

I'm trying to transfer my favorites from one computer to another, both using Firefox. Also, How do I get some of my favorites to show up on my tool bar in the latest version of Firefox?

I used to be able to open multiple tabs within the same Firefox window. Now, every time I click a link or access an external hyper link, a whole new window opens instead of a new tab in the existing window.

browser.link.open_newwindow is set to integer type and value of 3.

This doesn't seem to matter. The problem persists. I don't want to do a refresh or uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy. What can I do to fix this? Like I said, it was never this way before and it seems to have started happening out of nowhere.

I'm getting tired of this popping up http://ciscobinary.openh264.org, if it keeps doing it I'm going back to explorer, it keeps wanting me do go to a zip file, how do i fix it?

I have problem witch sound in YouTube. For example in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eu2sF_kQ00 or this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DcEMdNbZM4. No music but video works fine. In Project Spartan this video works without any problems. Any problem with codecs in Firefox?

Everything happens on Windows 10

Since the upgrade to Version 38.0.1, this action is no longer working. I can right-click and select a link to open in a new tab, but pressing the mouse scroll-wheel no longer works as a shortcut.

Please fix or advise if there's a setting I can tweak to get this feature back.

Oddly enough this also happens in Firefox, Chrome and IE9. Scanned for malware with no results. Finally I downloaded AOL desktop and surprise, I can now open AOL mail, but only in their desktop. This appears to be both blackmail and coercion by AOL. I say that because this problem is VERY common on the net with ALL browsers. Any other possibilities?

Firefox doesn't always open a "Remember this Password" popup. In this case even if I enter the correct login details and select the remember this password box it does not remember the login. Next time I login the password manager fields are blank and the remember box is unchecked. I've checked with the site webmaster and they do not disable saving of password details.

I've read all the FAQ advice on this and followed it closely.

History settings are custom Always use private browsing is NOT selected Remember my browsing and download history is selected Remember search and form history is selected Accept cookies from sites is selected (always, no exceptions) Clear history when Firefox closes is selected (saved passwords, site preferences and offline web site data are not selected to be cleared)

Under what circumstances will Firefox not offer a remember this password popup and fail to store information in password manager?

So every once in a while, I have a bunch of tabs open, FF freezes up and it restarts or Windoze forces a restart. Fine except when an an FF update is staged, or like this time, I lose my 30-40 tabs because I apparently need to know that Pocket has come to Firefox. Restore previous sessions grayed out, I seem to be toast. Getting sick of it now, losing most are fine but I really wanted some of them sitting there without having to be bookmarked, Any way of getting my tabs back when this happens almost once a week now?

Hi All I am very new to Firefox, so far really impressed. However when visiting www.seewinter.com, I should be able to view 'live web cams' but when I click on the link the web cams viewing box doens't appear. I have been into the pop up blocker and given permission, just in case this was causing the problem, but it still doesn't work. I tried going back to google and when I clicked the link the live cam came up instantly, clearly I need to do something in firefox I just don't know what. Any help will be much appreciated.

I sure would like to solve this. I was using Safari on my 2008 Mac and then it became outdated on some websites so I switched to Firefox. I am using a wireless connection supplied by the RV park that we are in with a password. I must use Safari to log in then I can use Firefox once that I am connected. (Firefox 38.0.1). Is there some way to disable whatever security line is causing this problem. I also use Firefox on a windows7 laptop from time to time with no problems. So far this is the only problem that I have found since installing Firefox on the Mac.
