Firefox is extremely slow for the past couple of weeks. I can't even open my banking site. I can't scroll or type without painful delays. I keep seeing the color wheel spinning and then after several seconds, it seems whatever is happening is finished and things return to normal for a few more seconds and then I get the same thing. Everything is fine on Safari.

I never save passwords - never have, never will. Using evil IE, Gmail works correctly in that it prompts me for ID and password for each new browser instance. Yet when I open gmail with FF, it goes straight to my inbox without prompting for ID or password. I use gmail in "always secure" mode. Cookies are enabled, of course, just did not expect my password to be saved and loaded from a cookie. How can I rectify this problem?

my firefox is redirected to this site....and starts a "scan" of my computer to fix "claimed" infections. My mcafee antivirus then blocks trojans. I cannot get rid of this megasavezz4/ any suggestions?

Running Firefox 3.6.3 on openSUSE Linux 11.0. Have reinstalled twice, including completely deleting the .mozilla profile. No effect. Clicking on the youtube address from Google will INSTANTLY crash Firefox totally. I have blocked all cookies from Youtube due to a problem with their "an error occurred" message in Opera and also blocked them in Firefox. I have also tried "Private Browsing" with no effect - still crashes. I am extremely upset by this situation. Also, when I access the full Gmail interface (instead of the embedded interface in iGoogle), Firefox ALSO crashes instantly. These are the two main Web pages I NEED Firefox to work for! This is utterly unacceptable and I see from Googling that MANY people have this problem. It needs an IMMEDIATE FIX!

I can call up Context menu on toolbars, but the instant I move the mouse to select a listed item, the menu disappears, thus preventing me from making any selection.

Yes, I did search and yes I found lots of topics with the same problem. None of them have any solution alas, some are not replied to, and none of them am I able to post to (the anti spam feature here thinks I am typing in the wrong number, when I'm not).

Google used to be the default search engine in my FireFox setup. Now it's Yahoo. I would like to change it back to google. Can you tell me how to revert it back to google? If so, thanks.

My tech guy says my Firefox has been hijacked - I couldn't even get to your website. When I google something, no matter what I click on, it goes somewhere else. It even happened when I went to click open an email - a new tab opened with this awful thing in it. Oh, and another thing: when it takes you to the bad website, you can't click on the back button to get back to wherever it was you were. You have to close the entire tab.

My email address has changed since I first discovered Firefox and became a member. I do not remember how to get into my Firefox account to see if I need to update any other details other than changed email address.

The following message came up: The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox to try again. There are no other Firefox running that I can see. What can I do to close Firefox if it is running and I can't see it?

Google Documents don't work with FF3.6.3. Many users are reporting this problem (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Docs/thread?tid=7196dd3f9406be1c&hl=en).

The site works fine with IE.

I left for a while and my girlfriend used Firefox while I was gone (about 20 minutes). Now that I've come back, Firefox does not load ANY css bg images at all on any sites. I've tried disabling all add-ons and restarting firefox and restarting the computer and clearing the cache and all that good stuff. Settings are not blocking images and are surely loading all image content automatically and all. In fact, according to firebug, css background images are loaded by the browser when i visit sites, they just don't display. safari works fine.

Hi, This has always been an issue with FF. I share my PC. My partner has a Master Password. I do not. However every time I use Firefox I am asked for the master password, and this is repeated (over and over) every time I open a tab for a site on which he has a password set. I have my own accounts and know my passwords. I do not want a Master Password and do not want to access his accounts. How can I cancel the MP request and simply use firefox withouth being face with that annoying MP pop-up every few minutes!! Its driving me nuts. Please save me. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I am on windows XP Sp3, with the latest firefox.

For no good reason, when I have the setting "let websites choose their own font" selected under options/content/fonts and colors/advanced, I see text that looks like this:

This even happens on Firefox's own support page! In fact, I can't even see the text for typing in my issue, if I have the choose own font setting enabled.

So what's going on here? I've uninstalled/reinstalled FF, Disabled all addons, run in safe mode, cleared caches, EVERYTHING, and FF just seems horked. WTF?

I am running Firefox 3.6.3. The upgrade process is failing to install a partial upgrade. When it tries to install a full upgrade it says it cannot find the license file and does not let the installation continue.
