Since i upgrade a few days ago to 3.6 i realized that I can hardly see my statusbar on FF. There is no way in options where i can change that. Can you please advise asap. Thanks

For the last few mths, my desktop P, when i use Firefox, i can no longer view the tabs just above the browser back arrow. I don't even know which version of Firefox i'm using as the help/about tab is missing also.

On US Howrse my username is HorseRider285. But one day I typed it in like this: HorseRIder285. And now since then I haven't been able to log in right because when I type it the right way it does this: HorseRIder285. I was wondering how I can change that website password.

I'd like to know how to save Personas to my computer so that I can save the Personas that I want to use. I downloaded a number of Personas yesterday and my FireFox has saved ONLY 8 Personas.

When I search something Firefox automatically opens a new tab with the results of this search. How do I change the settings to where the results will appear in the same tab as where I conducted the search?

IM using firefox 3.6.14 on ubuntu 10.10 and some jpg files appear inverted.This is a firefox specific problem as I have tried other web browsers work with the same jpg's. One example below.

When I go to foccl.com and view books>new>or on order Firefox 3.16 w Mac OSX 10.6.6 downloads the page instead of showing it. Safari and chrome both show the page.

On Windows 7, this page shows as intended.

Any ideas?

My OS is Windows XP version service pack 3. I even tried to install FF4 but it never get installed. As I mentioned my FF keeps trying to update itself but it gives the error message I provided in title. Now I don't have access to my FF browser and my life is stopped because I have all my passwords saved on FF. I restarted my notebook but it stills try to update itself giving the same error message. I can not also upgrade my Adobe reader 7.0.7 to 10 I have tried more than 10 times but it never gets upgraded. I had this Adobe problem since long time ago.

I have a Lenovo computer less than one year old running windows 7, 64 bit....I am running 3.6.14 because.... ( drum roll please) I had the 3.16 version and then when firefox 4 came out, I tried it and hated it, so went back ( after searching and finding file for old version) installed and kept it, then my daughter insists for security I update to 15.1 version, so yesterday I tried this, and it began crashing crashing crashing. She told me to take out all previous mozilla files, versions, I did, still crashing, then told me to try to install lower versions, I tried 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 15 ALL to NO AVAIL! would not open unless in safe mode, even then wouldn't open after the higher version. I do NOT KNOW what else to do!! I am finally back to using the old version 3.6.14 only because I still had it on a flash drive and could find no other doorway into mozilla , I tried reinstalls ( and yes, logged out, turned off computer, back in, each time I uninstalled and reinstalled) spent hours trying to make it happen, apparently I cannot upgrade at all because its not working. I need to know step by step how to get to latest version but without losing all my bookmarks etc, I spent years getting those and my addons.

Until today I was using IE8. In the bookmarks there is a folder named "Links." These would display across the top of the screen like a toolbar (with subfolders acting as dropdown menus.) I want to set this up the same way in FF. Is there a setting/toolbar/addon/... to accomplish this?

I have been happily using "ISBN Linker," an add-on that I heard about from a few different sites and installed from Mozilla's "Add-Ons" website only a few months ago. I went to the site today to install this add-on on a new computer, and I received the message that nothing could be found under that name. As far as I can tell, it's been entirely removed from the add-on repository (Google Cache still shows some remnants of its existence).

Is there any way to find out why it was removed? It's not that I want to argue for why it shouldn't be there, but rather that if it was simply that it hadn't been updated, or perhaps that it was even just removed by the creator, I'd take a shot at re-creating the add-on and resubmitting it. If, though, it was removed for some other reason, I'd love to know so I avoid any problems!
