I asked this over and over and this page is giving me the run around! I 'm going to cut and paste this question!

I reset Firefox and NCH Software facing still opens up as my homepage!! Yes, clicked OK after reset and closed the computer . It doesn't work. I read the other people's issues with this same problem here on the forum and it doesn't work for me. Help please!

my home page has changed without my permission to anasayfa.im (yandex) .

I have tried reset firefox,set home page,checking add-ons and extensions,... but nothing worked, there is not a single file with this name so I can remove it , It happened when I updated my flash player and this page appeared on my home page :( plz help to remove it I've tried many ways but nothing has changed .

I am running Firefox 31.0 on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.7.5. I was having issues with mysterious add-ons that added new buttons to the toolbar on both Firefox and Safari. I un-installed Firefox and the Firefox settings folder, then re-installed Firefox from an earlier version (18.0) which automatically updates to the latest version.

Every time I try to print any page on any website, the Print dialog box appears but Firefox crashes as soon as I click the "Print" (OK) or "Cancel" button.

I have tried running Firefox in Safe Mode, but the problem recurs. I tried resetting Firefox, but the problem recurs. I tried resetting Firefox's print settings, but there were no "print_printer" or "print.print_printer" settings in about:config and no lines beginning with "print_" in the prefs.js file. I un-installed and re-installed Firefox after deleting the Firefox settings folder, and still the problem recurs.

Feedjit is not showing on any blogs when I am using FF 31.0 but it shows up in all the other browsers. Is this a Firefox problem or a Feedjit problem? Feedjit worked fine until I upgraded to 31.0

I have been deleting this 'Crypt' file whenever it appears because whenever I have searched on the Internet for info about it, it always says that it is a virus! Suddenly, I wondered if it after all, could be a file created by Firefox whever I use private browsing. I only use this for online banking and it occurred to me that it is the reason the file doesn't appear every time I use Firefox. 'Crypt' could be short for 'Encryption' perhaps? Is this the case?

When I try to DL realplayer cloud I get a screen that says Firefox is unable to establish a connection, Also I no longer have the realplayer DL tab in the corner of the videos I am trying to watch/DL. What happened?

When i go to 'show all history' only a small portion of what i searched today gets shown. If i change months the same thing happens

A lot of what i am browsing now isn't being tracked either, this only started occurring like 2 days ago.

This is a windows 8 computer that was RESET yesterday that I am attempting to set up again.

I have copies of the bookmarks on another drive (and actually on another windows 8 computer running FF27) - I can not move the bookmarks onto this reset computer.

I have not attempted to move the whole profile yet just places and also tried export /import bookmarks.

I have just reinstalled FF32 and have the same problem. Yesterday I was successful in moving "places" onto the windows 8 computer with FF27.

After the recent update, the font started to get badly rendered. Kind of blurry with jagged edges and transparent parts. It used to be okay D:

Sometimes it becomes okay for a moment as I scroll down on pages, and sometimes when I stop scrolling, the font stays as it is; as if there are specific positions for the text to render properly. However, not all of the fonts are affected. Only the ones inside the scroll area.

On times that the font renders properly, the bookmarks font, title bar, and tab names are unaffected and still appear not-smooth. Same thing does not happen on other browsers. All my other system fonts look okay; it's really just Firefox.

Restarting Firefox = didn't work Restarting Computer = didn't work Tried setting up Clear Type = didn't work Tried enabling and disabling Hardware Acceleration on Firefox = didn't work Tried enabling and disabling the Graphics card itself = didn't work Tried just about all of the suggestions I found on Google = none worked Tried complete uninstall and re-install of Firefox 32.0 = didn't work

Graphics Driver are updated ~ Windows is updated ~

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6800

I fixed it by downgrading to Firefox 31 which makes me sure that 32.0 is the culprit. As I was about to send the message on top; I tried downgrading as my last resort and it worked. Now I'm only sending this as a report. I am hoping you'll figure out what caused it because I am quite strict (OC) that everything in my PC must remain updated >_<; thus I want to use Firefox 32.0 as much as possible.

Just updated to FF 31.0 & even tho click-to-play is set to "true" and I've got all plugins set to "Ask to activate", it's not working; worked just fine with v. 30.

Once Firefox 31 is installed it sees all PDF files as Firefox HTML files and changes all of the PDF icons to Firefox HTML icons. This change can not seem to be reversed without uninstalling Firefox. Only the icon is changed, not the .PDF extension.

I have Reset my Firefox Browser by Accident and then after Importing the OLD Backup to the new Firefox most of the Google Sites like Gmail , Google Drive and especially Youtube started Loading really slow !

Google Drive is reporting this error everytime I try to access an Excel Sheet to edit it Online :

YouTube Videos stop loading at all - BLACK SCREEN and nothing else !

Tried Clearing all kind of Cookies , Cache etc. inside Firefox and with CCleaner - no LUCK at all !

Ran the FIrefox in Safe Mode - no LUCK at all !

Problem is also the same with CHROME ! SO if anyone can guide me to a solution , I will be really thankful !

When i search for something in the search box in the top of the browser it takes me to a list of items in google. When i click on the website in the search list it takes me to a website i want to view and then a second later it takes me to yahoo. This only seems to happen when i use the search bars in the browser.

Any ideas of how i can stop this?

Have used this system for about a year. Updated Firefox a time or two. Always worked fine. Over the past few months I have kept several tabs open that I wanted to retain but do not currently work with. FF has always presented the "Save and Quit" box, and I always clicked "Save and quit". It has always worked, and always opened with my saved tabs.

This morning I had a question about Mint 13's file manager, Caja. I clicked Caja's "Help" button. Firefox was not open. Caja opened it - with only the home page tab. I downloaded a PDF and closed FF.

Then I wondered about that behavior and open FF from the menu as I usually do. It opened only the Home page.

After much research online, and studying FF settings, I find:

• "Restore Previous Session" is always dimmed.
• "Warn on Close" (about:config) is still set to True
• Preferences-Tabs is still set to "Warn me when closing multiple tabs"
• I found Preferences-General set to "Show my home page". I changed it to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

At this point, FF opens with the History sidebar open if I left it that way, but

• • it does NOT warn about multiple tabs
  • it does NOT ask if I want to "save and quit", as it always has until now
  • it does NOT save open tabs
  • it ALWAYS starts with ONLY the home page, despite the settings.

I restarted Linux, but it made no difference. I have NOT updated FF recently. I did nothing.

What happened?? Why does FF suddenly behave this way?? Has this happened to anyone else?

I am using Windows 8.1. My only add-ons are S3 Firefox Organizer 0.7 and Epub Reader 1.4.2.5.

I use Firefox on a different computer and everything works fine. And if I do a clean install, then it works. But it's really hard to install S3 Organizer because the web page doesn't point to the right installer, and I don't understand how disabling everything isn't sufficient to make it work.

My PC is on Win9 and firefox. Reformatted 2 months ago.

Unable to save some webpages for the past couple of days, I did the usual "reset firefox" when I have these kinds of problems. But this time it would not reset. I get the msg:

"Well, this is embarrassing.

Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page.

You can try:

   Removing one or more tabs that you think may be causing the problem
   Starting an entirely new browsing session"

No webpage was open at this time. Also unable to update firefox.

Signing in to my AtomicBobs website returned a "Server not found" error for my desktop.

Followed some of the FAQ suggestions and reset Firefox but still had the problem.

Checked McAfee, and cannot find a reason for blockage there.

Ran Firefox in Safe Mode and the was able to log in to the website. However, after restarting Firefox in regular mode, my sign in is still valid, but when I try to post a message, I get the "Server not found" error again.

Thought this was my desktop, so I tried my laptop with the same problem.

Up until 2-3 weeks ago, I have never had a problem with this website either on my desktop or laptop.

Also, the website works in IE, but Firefox is my preferred browser.

What's changed?

After updating to FF31, some of my Greasemonkey scripts stopped working or are working incorrectly. The same thing happens with the beta versions of FF. I'll need to degrade to FF30 as I have confirmations from other users of the same script that it works on FF30, so If someone could check what was changed in FF31 that prevents running those ones.

I have in the Add-ons, Extensions, PalMall by BND which I am able to disable, on my Mac using Mavericks.

I would feel much more secure if I could delete this.

I have removed and reinstalled Firefox, without solving.

I reinstalled Mavericks, without solution, as it remains in Firefox.
