The last time Firefox actually saved an html page in the history was May 16th. Firefox will only save pages that I visit that are non-html pages, a page that ends in .pdf, jpg, .doc, etc.

I have tried several times messing around with options - picking don't remember history, then restarting and selecting remember history.

I uninstalled Firefox, but kept personal data. Then I reinstalled. Still didn't work.

I then used the reset FireFox. It only made things worse. Now I can't change the home page.

This is Firefox 22 beta on Win 8 Pro 64bit

When I visit this site:http://www.apolloarchive.com/apollo_gallery.html I can no longer see the image thumbnails when I click on the image IDs. I contacted the site owner, and he said it worked for FF on his computer, but I'm afraid my javascript isn't working here. I did everything, cleared the cookies, ran Safe Mode, checked options- though i may have goofed. And I'm almost sure javascript is enabled here. I have Win XP. I don't want to check another browser; if the problem is here than it needs fixing. I'm waiting more word from the site owner, but I tried everything he suggested. So what do I do? Do I download another Javascript?

Normally I would select/wrap text in Firefox and right click and choose copy from the top of menu, click and go to Word,Notepad etc. and go to paste but nothing there paste item in menu greyed out.

It works ok ctrl v and c but is frustrating because the built-in function is so much cleaner

As I check my Verizon e-mail via the Web, the sign-in procedure presents the gray padlock. However, after the most recent Firefox update, trying to sign into the site results in the following security warning: "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party." Two response buttons are offered: Continue and Cancel.

I hope my memory isn't flawed, but I don't recall this ever happening before. Is there a bug in the Firefox version I'm using, perhaps?

Yes, I've already restarted Firefox. I even rebooted my system. The issue persists, though.

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

The Tab toolbar keeps showing everytime I open FF or if I open another website. This annoyance did not use to happen. I have tried all the settings and suggestions to no avail. Have Restarted FF a few times and nothing eliminates the tab bar. Obviously you have a bug that you need to fix. Using FF version 22 and Windows XP SP3.

I've been downloading mods for a game I play through Firefox and recently I've noticed that multi-part files seem to be having some problem when downloading.

First, they seem to take forever to work, and then when I refresh the download, they immediately seem to be finished. All it does is scan for viruses and stop.

But once I open the file with WINRAR, it says that the archive is either of an unknown format or damaged. So I found the same file and downloaded it with a different browser, and it works.

My question is: how can I fix this problem simply? I've tried reinstalling Firefox, but it still has the same issue, likely because I kept all my settings and so on.

Any help would be great.

Firefox updated to v.22 today and the Roboform toolbar is nowhere to be seen. It is in add-ons and enabled, but not visible through toolbars or as the icon to customize toolbars. All was well with Firefox 21. There appears to be a compatibility problem between Roboform and Firefox 22. Installed version is Roboform v. 7.8.9.5. Please work with them and issue an update. We're stuck without it!

Meanwhile, do you have any suggestions about how to get this working? Reinstalling RF didn't make any difference.

My Firefox on a windows 7 HP laptop updated today (June 25th) and the zoom adjusted, changing the font size, as well as icons and zoomed in on websites. I noticed in the list of changes for the program it says "improved rendering on high-res displays" is this the problem and is there anyway I can disable this? When I use Firefox I have the top, bottom and left edges of the browser slightly off the screen so I can't see them. These edges are a few pixels wide but I find them distracting. I don't use the browser full screen as I have a couple of gadgets which I need to have visible running on the right side of the screen. It's Windows 7 Home Premium x64.

I now have a bit of a problem. Today I upgraded from Firefox 21 to FF 22, and try as I might, every time I start the browser now, all 4 edges of the browser are visible. I have to click and drag top, bottom and left edges slightly off the screen to get it back to the way I want. I only ever had to do this once in all previous versions of FF and when the browser was restarted it would remember the previous setting. The trouble now is that it's not remembering this.

Any ideas anyone? I've tried Troubleshooting Information -> Reset Firefox to its default state but it hasn't made any difference.

It sounds like a small thing, but as I'm using a 12-inch laptop every bit of screen real estate counts, and it is annoying.

Thanks.
