After updating, the design, layout and text of firefox has 'blown up'; it's too large.

The only advice I consistently got after searching was to try View > Zoom etc.,

That only changed the screen I was in and reverted after changing to a new page, opening a new tab or restarting firefox.

I need a permanent solution where the firefox screen is where it was before.

Trying to update Adobe Shockwave Flash - Went to the Mozilla plugin page, download install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe but it keeps failing to install - get "Unable to load application configuration" error.

We have done automating Internet explorer using VBA, Now we have few projects which supports and do working on Mozilla only , ..so need to automate the applications in firefox using VBA excel macros .

I heard it is possible by adding and regestring some dll's. So Could you please help me on this with details.

I must have done something that put this stupid toolbar on my firefox at the top. it goes all the way across and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I tried finding it under uninstall programs but it doesn't show up there. help.

My Firefox upgraded today, and now I can't use Norton Identity Safe. Having reviewed other questions I have updated my Norton product via live update, but this has not resolved the problem. Any suggestions? According to the add-on page I have 2013.4.0.10, not sure what version of Firefox

Can see that lots of people experience this problem whilst attempting to print documents to pdf format.

Would be grateful if some wise person could elaborate on a way of fixing this issue as it is becoming impossible to print from Mozilla Firefox v22.0.

Have tried resetting firefox using the conventional troubleshooting method in 'Help', Have tried reconfiguring print.print_printer in about:config already as well. Tried uninstalling adobe acrobat v11 and reinstalling it and still receive the same problem Have also used Microsoft Fix Tool to see whether it could fix the problem but still the problem persists

Have run out of ideas now and would welcome somebody from Mozilla to step in and advise at this stage!....

Since few days I have noticed in the address bar where it show such as https://yahoo.com is not showing but it says "search or enter address". However it open the desired web as in this case yahoo.com. So far, some time address appears and some time not.

Any advice or help will be appreciated.

I just upgraded to FireFox 22.0, and am now getting a bunch of Javascript error pop-ups when I try to sue Gmail. The error message is: Error: Illegal operation on WrappedNative prototype object

Somewhere along the line while trying to open a pdf file, Microsoft Word was selected. Now, every time I try to open a pdf file it takes me to Microsoft Word where, obviously, it won't open. How do I negate the directive to Microsoft Word and apply Adobe Reader instead?

I can open any one email, as normal. Links within an email seem to work, when I try them. However:

Once I open an email, I can not delete it or close it. When I click "ACTIONS" or 'COMPOSE" the pop-up message "LOADING..." never completes, apparently looping.

When I click "COMPOSE", a text msg appears on the bottom of my screen indicating, I think, what the computer is reading:

us-mg205.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?.partner=sbc&.rand=cgcse0vj3t121#/minty/page/compose

if I attempt to delete, the same msg appears, minus "minty/page/compose"

When I mouse-over or click the gear wheel (settings) icon it merely spins and does nothing. Same text msg, except instead of "minty/page/compose" it reads "yucs-help_inner".

This situation arose about two days ago on my laptop. The same email works normally with Safari on my Ipad, also on my laptop via Windows Live Mail (which I no longer use but still have the program). Thus this appears to be a Mozilla/Firefox issue?

Todays upgrade to v22.0 has disabled extension *Print pages to PDF 0.1.9.0* ie "PDF-XChange Viewer v2.5" (build 210.0 Feb 25 2013; 15:34:29)

Found Install an older version of Firefox which offers several options. Is Firefox 21 (US English) the most up-to-date of v21? Or should I be making a choice in v21.0 -> 21.0B1 -> WIN32/ -> en-US/ which offers "Firefox Setup 21.0b7.exe" and "Firefox Setup Stub 21.0b7.exe"

I typed in an incorrect username. Now, when I click on the username box to bring up my username, it shows the incorrect name as a choice, but I don't want that to show. Is there some way to delete that name?

I was browsing youtube earlier and all of the sudden whenever i would click "show the comment" to see the comment someone had replied to the the persons response disappeared and there would be a large blank space. Tried it on Internet Explorer and everything worked fine so its just FF that its not working on. Also tried clearing my cache and cookies, that didnt work either. Any help would be appreciated.

Help this is annoying. In the past month, while in firefox suddenly my computer freezes for no reason. The whole PC freezes for about 20 seconds, then I can bring up task manager after that. Im running Win 7 on a top of the line PC for gaming. I tried resetting firefox, no change. i tried reinstall, disable adobe flash player still no resolution.

Just now, my PC froze indefinitely, while in firefox, (couldnt do anything for minutes and minutes) . I had to hard reboot my laptop which I DONT LIKE TO DO. Firefox is causing my computer harm by these freezes and its pissing me off. Ive never had this issue before so why am I now. I havent done anything different. My comp runs avast security and is clean and updated and everything. I heard the new adobe update could cause this error but i disabled it in firefox. Honestly if this is firefox fault they need to fix this crap argh. I was in middle of college application when my pc hanged. GREAT THANKS FIREFOX

The headline pretty much sums up my problem. Basically, I picked a few different animated themes to try out in the Add-Ons section to personalize my browser window. They look great initially, and in the window that is open when I actually enable the theme. However, if I close that window and open a new one, the theme is stationary and no longer animates.

I have Firefox 22 installed on a HP Presario Quad 64, running Windows 7 Home Version. Firefox had been running and updating well until I received the latest Security Update (20130618035212) released on the 3rd of June, 2013, and it installed today. After installation the Error: Illegal Operation on Wrapped Native Prototype Object) Pops up several times when first opened, and once or twice on every operation I do, on any page thereafter. I don't know what the reason for this error, or what the update may be badly interacting with. I noticed that there seems to be no way of selectively removing a security update from within Firefox it's-self, can I remove it from windows Add/Remove to see if that's the cause instead of removing the Firefox it's self and re-installing. I haven't had a problem with Firefox for such a long time now that I became far too relaxed in my security of it, that I have to admit it caught me off guard. Any help, or information would be fantastic. Sincerely Rick M.
